Mr Adrian once again your bless including us again what you did for our device is more than a magic sony support is very soon end even the promise of 4.4 is not true because its never update by sony... For an old phone like xperia sp from 2013 its completely fantasy to have nougat... We find a great man a great dev God bless you i really appreciate your kind and your time that really sacrifice for us i have a question from you mr Adrian after a very magical works like multirom im stick on multirom because its amazing i set official 4.3 on primary and cm 13 on secondary my question about when i can flash cm 14 on multirom as a secondary rom? Exactly , May be it's because The ROM is in Alpha Stage !!! But pretty smart ROM Really missing CM theme Engine !!

Be patient ! its just an alpha !

Wow! ... just Wow!! This is unbelievable. The amount of time and work you put into this phone is unbelievable. If it wasn't for you, I would've already bought a new phone, but thanks to your awesome support I can still have an up-to-date software experience with the newest Android features and more.
I hope development for CM14 won't be as difficult as it was when moving from Kitkat/Lollipop to Marshmallow, but seeing that the alpha-build is already working pretty okay, I have faith in you getting to run our phone with CM14 better and faster, than it already did on CM13. Keep up the great work! You're a million times better in supporting our device than those million dollar phone companies.

Does SuperSU work with CM14?

Don't need supersu.
Read the first post here and on the Q&A.

Thanks for your great ROM.
But I have a problem , I can't install V4Android ,It give me IO error.

Install version for recovery, and switch off SeLinux after that.

wow, you are very hard working for making cm14 / nougat, thanks...

Works fine!
But I miss some CM13 features like themes, NFC toggler in top bar, buttons editor, buttons on locked screen editor, battery % indicator, etc. These are only Android 6 features, that are disabled in 7, or CM will add customization later?

It's an alpha build..the features will be add later..right now they are interested in stability and bug fixes other than make everything work on 7

Any news about FM Transmitter?

Uograde from CM12.1 and booting works for me, but as soon as the gui starts up, com.android.phone keeps crashing, no Sim detected and the system is sluggish as hell. Sms are not imported. I will provide a log tomorrow or so.
Edit: fixed it using google.
I deleted /data/data/com.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db,{-journal} if I remember correctly. Now my sim works, SMS are imported properly and the system is very smooth.
Can I use open gapps aroma with this version?

Gaming performance are not soo great as unofficial sabermod build. I hope this ROM will have same performance too
Is there a way to turn off mock location? somehow it's turned on by default in marshmallow and I can't use Ingress app
Why there's no option in settings to set quick unlock after entering pin, just like itvwas on cm 12.1?

Btw. - there is also a Q&A thread for things like that...
Quick unlock can be achieved through gravity box, I think it's the only way for now.

Great ROM, I just switched from candy5 and the ROM is obviously faster and smoother than lollipop. Only one issue, it lags on Line Messaging app, I've never had this issue when I was on candy5. I don't know if this Line app's fault or the ROM. I'm using 20160329 build.
0329 build + DeltaGapps base (0323-1) + addon gesture = perfect !
After one day of heavy usage I can just say one thing: this is great. Thank you. This also applies to your AOSP build which I could not find a thread for.

Goto the BasketBuild link on the first page and move one level up, you will find AOSP-CAF listing
I know where to find it, I could not have installed it otherwise
There is just no separate thread for this rom.

Yeah as some of you noticed, I am also working on AOSP builds,
but haven't released anything officially because I want it to be fully functional,
I just installed my latest build, works fine but audio is still completely broken.
Not opening the thread or talking about it until that key feature is fixed.
But camera works on it too for the matter .

Thanks, I'll try it later
That's great news!!
Is there already a list of what is supposed to be working and what is known to be broken?
I'll install this on my weekend.... because i do still have classes can't wait though
I may be able to post some bugs but one thing i don't know is how to generate log reports

It's added and available in post 2 & 3, same as Xperia T for the moment.
Flashed it over CM12.1 Neo without any problems.
hi. im testing this rom. I have a problem with copying and pasting.
Have tested this quite extensively and glad to report that I haven't come accross any major glitches yet. I read in one of the threads that there was a problem with RIL but it seems to working perfectly. Audio/Bluetooth Audio/Camera/Microphone/NFC works well. I noticed that f2fs for/ system and /sdcard partitions doesn't work, however reverting to ext4 solves the problem, also removing CMSetupWizard when installing OpenGapps results in broken notifications, however this seems to be a general CM13 bug. All in all, quite a stable build, thanks!
I can't install apk files
anyone has this issue?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The ROM is fantastic. I like it. Everything works well except one thing: the camera doesn't take pictures. After taking a picture it hangs and saves nothing. Please, fix it.
Also Flashed it over CM12.1 Neo without any problems. Can confirm this works..... Great rom only thing found so far is that "do not disturb" function as expected some sounds still come through and the time off setting did not switch off. Can anyone confirm.........
awesome
the rom is working greatly
except the camera it is not taking photos
install apk is working
and here is some screen shoots:good::good::good:.

Stock Camera doesn't work, use Google Camera or install one from the Play Store
---------- Post added at 08:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:39 AM ----------
I experienced the "sleep of death" issue, not sure what triggered it - adb was not responding so no logcat. After a hard reboot, everything is back to normal.
Has nothing to do with the camera app used, the previous release had a camera capture issue due to the blobs updates, it's fine now.
Cool rom, works fine,fast,snappy,3rd day,the only "issue" is youtube screen goes black ,but just restart app solves the problem. Camera works just fine ,as well as the rest options. I find this probably the best rom yet for this phone (i think i tried every sinlge rom from xda for this phone )
Sent from my Xperia V using XDA-Developers mobile app
How to make externalSD as primary storage on this ROM sir? Thanks

For now that is not possible, you can use this rom only after factory reset (clean install) because it's early stage of CM development, but in the future it should be possible to upgrade from cm13

Some CM features are here and some are not yet ported by CM developers.
The initial builds for all devices are focused on hardware bring up and stability.
As the time goes by more and more CM features will be ported from CM13 to CM14, and probably new ones introduced by the main CM developers.
On alfa builds the only things that should be reported are the real bugs, and what is working and what not on hardware side, and not the missing CM features.
hi sir AdrianDC,
thank you again for this great rom my only probem is i can't access my sdcard.

Most programs are not compatible with this version (android 7)
Because of this lack of consistency returned to the previous ROM (CM 13)
apps look like task manager - MX Player not working in this rom (should wait to update the apps)
the phone was crash or heavy working because no task manager working in this rom and all of apps was open and working and i can't close apps
if you can add task manager in this rom
tnx

Thank you for your efforts , good luck
Finally, new thread for CM 14.. great work!
Wow, compliment + respect, you're turbo² fast, mate!
* 7.0 is running on my old bone
I'm the first human with Nougat in town, so all women lie flat.
Thank you so very much!
Words can't describe my feelings, but I can only tell you that : YOU'RE DA BEST.
You did it!
We're getting a powerful Nougat OS for our 4 years devices before any other phone, for example Nexus 6 does not have a official NRD90x build.
The Nexus 5/5X that I own dosen't have an UNOFFICIAL cm build. Lol.
You're a champion!! IYou really deserve our respect!! A bug free/less ROM with major features working, this is excellent!!
I'm really happy and glad to test the next chapter of your beautiful story.
Keep up your good work. We trust you always
First off all Thank you and all that @charbelaoun44 wrote
I did a dirty Install from CM13 lastest build, that causes a lot of trouble like no SIM a lot of FC´s ect.
Than i did a clean Install, as far as i could say it has only one bug the SD Card. (didn't test a lot but i will)
After Formatting it say "do you want to move Files" if you choose yes it will FC, if i only Format no matter if for Internal or External use, i can use the SD Card but at next start it say i got a new SD Card Do you want to Configure and you can Format again or it shows at Memory "SD Card is damaged"
I did a Logcat as i tried to Format as Internal und Move Files
I hope this will help, i'm pretty much a noob (and my English is also not Perfect) don't be mad if the log is too long (must zip it) or so :silly:
Edit:
Update i did clean CM13 Install without Gapps and using SD card as Internal Memory
Wiped only System Data Cache & Dalvik and Installed CM14 + FMRadio & Gapps
And all works Flawless now, my mistake was it to wipe everything including SD Card.
Hey Adrian,
14 Sep build is much better than 06 sep.
But Cast to DLNA TVs is still broken, it disconnect before connecting using Miracast. (The only bug, I can live without it).
Also I see some cm features that's suddenly disappear: CM Cellular network, System OTA updates, clock changer... Is there a trick to enable them? You disable them?
As for CMTE, substratum works like a charm.
And there are some screenies. Please post them to your OP, It's better to see them for the newbies.

If you are in cm13 builds, You don't need any unification.
¢?¢ Just flash boot.img from the zip in fastboot
¢?¢ wipe (system, data, cache, Internal)
¢?¢ Install ROM
¢?¢ Install GApps (I prefer Aroma, Micro and Nano works)
¢?¢ Install Pixel/Nexus Launcher (optional)
Reboot and done.
But if you are on cm12.0 or Ressurection Remix 5.5.9 you need to flash cm13 first, then flash cm14
@Ramizcyanogen the os is still unfinished, some features are not implemented yet. Use Substratum instead of CMTE, download it from the play store. Every theme you want to find have a "Substratum" "OMS" "RRO" or "Layers" tag

I'm using cm13 at the moment.
where I can find "Pixel/Launcher"?
is there any "Pixel/Launcher" to install for cm13?
or should I migrate to cm14 to get custom "Pixel/Launcher" feature?

What is AOSP ?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

What is OMS / Substratum ?
Substratum is an application, downloadable from the Play Store, that utilizes all of Sony's Overlay Manager Service (OMS), found on the official AOSP code review. This is similar to Layers in terms of stability and customization as it runs off an upgraded version of the Resource Runtime Overlay system, with the added benefit of running up-to-date Sony code on a customized ROM.

What is RRO ?
Runtime Resource Overlay (RRO) was contributed by Sony to the Android code base. The RRO framework provides the possibility to modify the look and feel of an application while it is running, without any need to change or recompile the application source code. In short, RRO is a Theme Engine replacement which can do wonders!
