I made Substratum tweak to change Tiles Columns, please use it with Stock ROMs only, or ROMs that doesn't have this feature baked in settings, it may cause problems with other ROMs

1) Would it be possible to put a placeholder ontop of the brightness-slider, so that all tiles are more at the bottom of the screen to make them easier to reach?
2) Do you perhaps have a [MOD][substratum]-apk to set primary and secondary colors on Nougat?
It would be awesome, to set the colors for:
settings-background-color, settings-icon-color, quicktiles-background-color, quicktiles-icons-color(active&inactive)

Thanks, i usually post in subs community & here, so its easy to keep track of thr updates.
I can't use numbers only, it cause a problem wo package name, so i added C "Columns" before it to get it working

Especially for custom icons. I managed to get the normal Tiles colored, and the Text also, but custom icons still show white.
If you look into tiles request, plz also try the custom icons.

Hi guys,
Here is my first theme for MIUI v4, ICS based. I didn't change much because I like the stock theme, so I only modified icons, status bar icons, lockscreen and some other things.
Lockscreen is a new one, I used Iphone3_w_wh_T lockscreen by tianyu as a base and added some cool stuff. Works with 9s weather advanced from market.
Thanks to authors which work I have used, all the proper credits are in my other thread (miui themes for ginger).

Here's what I encountered.
Music controls overlap.
(maybe they're supposed to?)
And when you reach the bottom, it shows Next alarm and two "nulls."
Edit: I think these are meant to be here. 'cause I drag down where the weather is supposed to be and it shows weather info, drag down on the date and it shows the alarm and I'm assuming the nulls are for calendar events, etc.
I don't use weather on Miui lockscreens, but I wanted to see how this worked. I might modify it a little bit. :B

Yeah, music should overlap, it is like that in the original theme and I left it that way. That two nulls are for the calendar events (you don't have any I guess ). Also, if you click on the bottom in the middle of the screen you will get a 3 day forecast (you will need 9s weather for this) and on the bottom left there is some other info about current weather.
im assuming you need to be running miui v4 or will this work on any type of miui? dumb question i think as i'm on the dx and haven't heard much about v4 for it yet.

Well mostly it should work, but maybe some of the icons won't change because of new names in v4. Lockscreen will work (tested only on 480x800, not sure about other resolution).

Same here, one like zuned25 made for MIUI GB roms. Not an expert on these things but logically, white background for menus etc has a negative impact on battery life due higher consumption of power to generate the white background/light? Black/orange or black/blue theme is perfect for my eyes. Stock theme hurts my eys, the white being so bright.
P.s. tried to post my thanks on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458382&page=15 but could not due to being a dumb *ss noob. Anyway, thks for a GREAT rom and great theme!

Extract folder from this zip file (MinimalisticTextPreferences) and place it on your sd card. Then go to minimalistic text app and go to restore (select 3x1 file).

Don't worry about a thanks.
For a dark theme it will take a lot of time, and problem is I can not start soon because of my private work, so don't expect it soon. But I will make it one day for sure.

Tested on miui v4 2.6.15. This theme supports full hdpi and xhdpi.
I chose a gray/matte blue style color scheme for a lot of the ICS elements of the UI and gave the MIUI elements some more flair. Ill keep updating this because there's still alot left to theme and get perfect.
The contacts and dialer have been left out until i can get some xml colors right and they'll be in the next update along with a couple more apps.

Edit: Multiple people have asked me how to get the icon labels back on the launcher and instead of adding it back into the theme ive decided to write up a mini tutorial here.
1. Open the theme
2. Open/extract com.miui.launcher
3. Open theme_values.xml
4. The first line of code that says "icon_title_text" is what you want to change. By default the first 2 digits which control transparency are 00. To have full transparency back change those to FF. And to use a different color other than white you just need to change the last 6 digits to whatever color you want. Theres a great color picker here. Then simply save the xml, zip everything back up and apply.

Guys i updated it to v2 which includes alot more apps, the missing xhdpi framework, and some stuff i missed the first time. Download the new version to have a more complete theme. And after this update i am moving to CM9 to port Sedo over. And ill probably drop a dark Sedo theme in the near future too. Thanks and enjoy!

Here is another great looking dark theme, a result of 7 days' hard work. This is my third theme for MIUI V4. The theme is tested on the latest MIUI ROM v 2.7.6 (Galaxy SII). This is the first beta of the theme and I will keep it updating and fixing bugs reported by users. The theme should run with HDPI and XHDPI devices.

I love the way almost everything's skinned. Looking forward for the updates.
It would be nice if you could change the font color for category names in settings from gray to white, as in the ROM Manager app in your screenshots, for better readability.

In fact, that is due to all apps do not support black background. I had to turn the colors to grey for visibility. Unfortunately, I was unable to sort out what font colors are applied where. Still struggling. Probably, MIUI ROM itself is responsible for that. What I can do ATM is the change the green bar to black.

Noticed a glitch on FlatLoader slider, there's black line on it.
No idea where it's coming from. I've tried to mess with it, with no luck
Screen is 720p if it matters.
Oh and your slider isn't even near to pixel perfect, which is downside for me.

This happens sometimes when you'r stretching the slider to size not intended to it... Try if you center the slider and resize it so there is a 1x1 grid space on the bouth sides of the slider...
And yes.. my sliders are pixel perfect, the thing is WidgetLocker cant tell the right size they are intended to use since they are based on plane PNG.s and not vectors...

DAMM beautiful theme and less buggy than most paid L style theme in the market and plz post the colour code of quick setting panel i wanna make the panel one solid colour:laugh:

So this is my third time posting on your theme, but AMAZING WORK.
I asked earlier, but is it possible to remove the icon in the action bar? I'm looking how to myself but am not that familiar with coding.
If you look at Herathon Light/Dark - it removes the icon in the action bar system wide. IMO it makes the apps look better
If you can somehow incorporate that in the next update, that'd be truly great. Sorry for all the suggestions but you are a theming god! :fingers-crossed:

I've tried to do my best at it, at least for now, and this icon has been removed from Gmail and Hangouts apps, and I'm trying to do it in Youtube and some other apps, but if you look well, I'm just a Junior Dev, and I don't know many things about this, besides, I'm working alone. I will take a look to that theme and try to incorporate your suggestion in the next update.
Don't worry about all the suggestions, that's the way I know what to improve, incorporate and do, to give you the best theme.
