Brief Description: This firmware has been gathered from the latest source code. No editing apps after the assembly, I did [OTA] [From Mr. WigLeg (4PDA)]! Updated security patches, based on 6.0.1_r66 (The September update), every detail firmware adapted to the device, no edits, applications editing and so on. And again, this is a completely new, clean, and not and edited CyanogenMod 13, moreover, it is not a port! ( I just copy it and try to make everyone understands )

INSTALLATION :
1. Download and install recovery.
2. Download the firmware patch (ALWAYS!) And GApps (Google Apps) below. Clicking "Download Google Apps", you will see a lot of choices for every line of their own. I will help you choose the right. Below the "Platform" select: ARM, under the line "Android": 6.0, and below the line "Variant" you can choose from Pico to the Mini because all of the above It will not be installed. After that, click on the red button below.
3. Downloads? Excellent! Reboot in recovery.
4. Set up TWRP Recovery (if configured, go to step 7): After the first run put a check on the slider to the right.
5. Go to "Settings -> LANGUAGE". Flipping to the bottom of the penultimate and the language is "English". Select it and click the "Set Language". (Ignore if already English)
6. Select the time zone (optional): Go to "Settings -> Time Zone". There, select your time zone and click "Set. Time zone."
7. We click "Backup";
8. Select the NVRAM (If you want to copy the full system, including applications, etc., Then select all the items, except for the "System Image", as it will make a second backup of one and the same system, and 1 GB of nowhere is not very cool ).
9. Choose where we keep the backup by clicking "Select storage." Personally, I recommend a backup to a memory card. Click "OK" and carry on the slider.

16. After the installation, click "Restart the system.".
17. Done! We are waiting for system boot and then configure.
[A Temporary fix for VPN]
A workaround for VPN follow these steps :
1. Go to psiphon and choose Browser-Only mode don't tunnel whole device.
2. Go to its logs tab and check the port of http proxy.
3. Now open WiFi setting and long press to your WiFi network (from which u are connected) go to modify tab and from check the advanced options.
4. Chosen manual proxy option and put host name as 127.0.0.1 and port as the no. which you noted in step 2 (eg. 8080) and click save .
Enjoy you have set up a VPN connection successfully.
You can open your browser and check your IP
Note: You have to undo this after you don't need VPN by changing manual proxy to none .

For those who want to use Orbot vpn
This is very similar to previous vpn workaround for psiphon
Just follow these step for Orbot
1. Open Orbot and long press to start orbot.
2. When all bootstrapped done go to check browser it will ask for normal browser or install Orweb .
3. Open Orweb and volla you r connected to tor but actually its not to tunnel your traffic to vpn go to Orweb settings.
4. Now note the proxy host and proxy port generally it is localhost(same as 127.0.0.1) and 8118 respectively but it may change so better to keep updated with port numbers.
5. Now go to wifi setting and long press the wifi (from which u r connected) and check advanced options.
6. Choose manual proxy option and put the host name 127.0.0.1 and port no. (e.g. 8118 ) which u noted in step 4
Now u can check https://check.torproject.org from any browser and volla Congo this browser is configured to use tor.
Sorry for long guide but it is detail enough so that anyone can easily setup tor in cm builds.
Note: You have to undo manual proxy option to none after you don't use vpn.

It is already stated at the top of the post. ''THIS IS FOR A3300'' And this is for the GV (2g) and the HV (3g). Not the wifi version.

Ya I checked at 4pda. No luck. Do you know any stable marshmallow rom for this device or any that has VPN working, This tablet really needs an upgrade the ghost touch plus KitKat is just a pain.

No you cant flash this because lenovo a7-30dc is lenovo tab 2 a3300 but this is for lenovo tab a3300 ONLY

Instructions to Install
Download the latest ROM zip and Gapps from the download tabs above.
Connect your Nexus S into USB Storage mode to the PC via USB data cable.
Drag the downloaded two zips to the root of your storage (and not in any folder).
Power off the device, press volume up + power buttons altogether until you see the bootloader mode. Now use the volume buttons to highlight "Recovery" and select it using power button.
You are now in Recovery mode.
If you are flashing this ROM for the first time (coming from another ROM): wipe /data (factory reset) and /system
If you are updating this ROM (coming from previously installed version of this ROM): wipe /cache
"Install zip from sdcard" > "choose zip from sdcard" > select the ROM zip and press "Yes" to flash.
Follow the above step again to flash the Gapps.
When all is done, select "reboot system now".

What is Dual Boot Patcher?
DualBootPatcher is an open-source app that allows multiple ROMs to be installed on a single Android device. It does its best to work with existing code and does not require explicit support from ROMs. There are currently 136 supported devices and their variations.
**I am not the developer of this MOD. The credit for this goes to the actual developer of this MOD.**

No BOOT UI support yet.
Lock screen shows incorrect pattern every time after installing other ROMs.(Patch below)
**Don't forget to put screen lock to slide or none before booting to other ROMs as it will not allow you to unlock your device on the lock screen after you reboot to another ROM. Even if you enter the correct pattern, it will show that it's wrong(more about the lock screen patch below). Please read the "Lock Screen Patch" Section below before starting the procedure.
Procedure:
Download the APP and the Utilities ZIP from the link.
Install the APP.
Set/Update the kernel when asked.
Choose "Patch Zip File" from the left pane.
Choose "Add flashable zip" by clicking on the "+" button.
Select ROM installation directory in the Partition configuration. (Data Slot/Extsd slot recommended)
Select the location for the patched image file.
Add GAPPS and kernel (more about kernel flashing below) files as needed.
Go to the ROMs section from the left pane and select In App Flashing(bottom right corner).
Choose Add patched file by clicking on the "+" button.
Select the patched Zip files and accordingly select "keep location" or "change location".
Go ahead and flash the ZIPs.
Now you can choose between the installed ROMs and select which one to boot from.
You can also share your apps among your ROMs using the "App Sharing" menu in the left pane.(Note that once you select apps for sharing, the app data will be wiped for those apps once.)
The Utilities ZIP is a flashable zip in the recovery which is based on AROMA installer which provides basic dual boot system modification tools like changing the current boot ROM or wiping a ROM etc. It is very useful when your device is in boot loop or you want to change your boot ROM using the recovery.

MIUI:
As MIUI encrypts data partition, ROMs on it won't be able to boot up.
Follow this guide to make data partition accessable.
Then install other ROMs as usual on the data-slot.
Kernel Flashing:
Flashing ZIPs based on AROMA installer is not allowed via "In App Flashing".
Patch the Kernel ZIPs by selecting the exact installation location of the kernel in the Dual Boot Patcher App.
Then flash the patched ZIPs in the Custom Recovery.
Lock Screen Patch:
Booting to other ROMs might not allow you to unlock your device on your first ROM. Either set your lock to none or swipe or follow the instructions below.
Download Agni Toolbox.
Remove lock screen security.
If your non-primary ROM is locked, then patch the Agni Toolbox and then remove security.
Current Status:
MIUI works but only as primary ROM and only with Alka TWRP recovery.

I think it should. Haven't tested it yet. Will tell you soon. It surely doesn't work as additional ROM as Dual Boot Patcher doesn't create a fake "cust" partition which is necessary to flash an MIUI ROM.

There is some problem with app,whenever i try to flash rom in background as soon as i switch to the app from recents it crashes.
@rocknegi haven't tested Miui,So don't know.

In App Flashing and Patching both won't work in background as the mbtool works only in foreground till now. Keep the app open. The Dual Boot Patcher's background service is still not completely bug free.

Did you choose any of the Multi Slots as partition configuration?

I can’t make this mod work with MIUI as the primary ROM. When I try to boot a secondary ROM, I always end up in recovery. I tried unofficial LineageOS by minz1 and AOSP by JDCTeam.
Edit: I never had any problems booting back into MIUI. My PIN is still fine.
Edit 2: It might be worth noting that I’m using the latest official Global Developer ROM and ZCX TWRP. Perhaps, it would work with a Xiaomi.EU ROM and the official TWRP.
Edit 3: Nope, it doesn’t work with a Xiaomi.EU ROM either. I also tried using the last CM13 nightly build as a secondary ROM with no luck. So I don’t think it’s possible to use DualBootPatcher with MIUI as the primary ROM. What a pity.

Dual boot patcher for Armani works for MIUI as primary and any other ROM as secondary :3

[ROM][10][ARM64][A320] crDroid v6.21 for Galaxy A3 2017 [10.08.2021]

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS
This is a ROM built from source and not a GSI!
Fix Camera stretch & force close for some camera apps
You can do it editing /vendor/build.prop file using MiXplorer (you’ll need ROOT).
Search for the line “vendor.camera.hal1.packagelist”
After the = are the name of different apps. Delete one of these and put the package name of the app that you want to fix. For example, com.facebook.orca is the Facebook package name.
Per default, the ROM comes with Whatsapp, ZOOM, Snapchat and Instagram added. Maximum 4 Apps are allowed in this line and must be separated by comma ",".

Fix Camera stuck
Sometimes, the camera can get inaccessible if an app was failed. If it happen, follow this:
Install this app. Open it and tap "Kill camera", then give it ROOT permissions. Done! Camera is working again.
Take in mind that if the camera is broken and you didn't do this, the audio in calls maybe not work.

This ROM can run GCam. Download a modded version for Exynos HERE. Thanks to Leonardo Estacio for his mod.
Games: this ROM works so good for gaming and can run ARM64 apps/games. If you feel lags, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Saver and performance > Performance Profile and set it to High Performance.

Also crDroid 6.9 by Atrasko doesnt have this problem too. But since 6.12, there is this problem with camera.

Very nice to see a new ROM for the A3.
Did anyone test if bluetooth calls are working correctly and if recorded videos with apps other than Footej, are saved correctly?

It does say in the first page that BT calling is still broken in this ROM.
crDroid is awesome on this phone but the lack of BT calling sucks and I don't think there is developer motivation to fix.

Tested the rom on a SM-A320F/DS, can confirm what other users have mentioned above, and some others:
SIM slots dont work, tested both slots. Ive added a logcat to the post. SDcard (SIM2 slot) works fine, no issue there.
Settings > Display > LiveDisplay: Cant edit the settings for bluelight filter.
Settings > Display > Lock screen display > Ambient display: To edit Ambient display settings this way does not work, either nothing happens or it jumps back to Display settings. To edit Ambient display settings, have to go through -> Settings > crDroid Settings > User Interface (tab) > Ambient display. Not a huge issue, just fyi.
Camera works fine with the native app, I use OpenCamera though and with the build.prop edit mentioned in 2nd post it works without issue.
Bluetooth/NFC seem to work, though I havent tested in depth due to sim issue.
Wifi works fine aswell, only annoyance is after reboot sometimes aireplane mode is activated and wifi off, even though it was on before reboot. But thats a small issue, not priority.
Phone encryption working aswell, no issue there as far as i can see.
Battery, havent tested per usual usage, though it does drain faster at first look.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't have this device, but i compile the ROM anyway using the Astrako's device trees. I will try to fix this things if i can.

Please dont use this device tree from martin .This Device Tree have the Problem that adobtabel storage dont work
This is very bad for this device because it have only 16gb internal storage

1.enabeled devolper options (tap 5 times on build number)
2.enabeled usb-debuging in devolper options
3.install minimal adb and fasboot on your pc
4.start minimal adb and fastboot
5.type adb devices and type yes on the prompt on your phone
6.type adb shell

I installed DotOS and it's beautiful and it works almost very well.
Here's the almost :
After having used it for a week or so, there is a problem that is hard to past over : my battery is draining soooo quickly, and I think I found the culprit.
The network connexion works fine (sms and data), however it always says that there is no connexion on the status bar :
When I check the power consumption stats, it shows that the networks services is extremely energy consuming.
So here's my hypothesis : even if network works, it's always looking for it as it thinks it is not, and so it power up the network services to look for network, then battery go pfiuuuu
Do you think there is something to do here ?

I do not own this model and I only have experience with original GSI dotOS ROM, but try one of the following:
- That R, and the description on your homescreen, mean that you are in Roaming mode, disable it in Settings , then try connecting to your provider's network - (disable "Automatically select network") .
- turn Airplane mode on for a few seconds and turn it off
- go to your smartphone's dialer, then type *#*#4636#*#* ~> Phone info . Here you can check the connection in detail and set the network type.
- go: Settings > System > Reset options > Reset WI-FI,mobile & BT. Also you can reset to default APN (Network > mob. network > Access point names )
- reboot stock Recovery and perform Wipe cache partition

@Hykosit, does screen recorder work? When I tried this rom there were some troubles with it(there is separate fix for it though).

I just tried it, and I'm having troubles too :
- start the recording
- tap the notification to stop the recording
- my phone get locked
- unlock and re-tap the notification
- recording stop
- I can't find the record in the gallery

I'm currently in Sweden, that's why ! and I'm not planning to come back soon. However I had the same issue when I was still in France.
I tried any other network and everyone says "couldn't connect".
When I exit the network selection page, the Automatic select network turns on and it tells it's connected to "insert_local_network - insert_my_network_provider"

I'm out of ideas.
Try another custom ROM, I would recommend Corvus 17.0, with Elemental-kernel (due to SELinux permissive). Download links ROM Kernel
Or, try some OEM ported ROM by DarkJoker (imo the best solution).

I made a fix for this problem a few months ago, it was integrated in several ROMs but the dotos is old, look in my patches for the DisplayEngine-FIX-Altair-v0.3 file

Can this rom work on m51 ?

I think it should work. Its a GSI after all.. but make sure you have a backup just in case.

2). Generic System Images
A generic system image (GSI) is a system image with adjusted configurations for Android devices. It's considered a pure Android implementation with unmodified Android Open Source Project (AOSP) code that any Android device running Android 9 or higher can run successfully.
GSIs are used for running VTS and CTS-on-GSI tests. The system image of an Android device is replaced with a GSI then tested with the Vendor Test Suite (VTS) and the Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) to ensure that the device implements vendor interfaces correctly with the latest version of Android.)

Well guys you've done a brilliant job with this ROM.
It's fast, clean and not a Samsung app in sight!
Followed the 'How To' section and it was all installed, but didn't get Magisk...do I need to install the Magisk app?

With basic setup (I have not run the extra files in OP).
Observations:
1. It didn't like my 128GB SD card, not recognized after installing ROM (ok in TWRP). It suggests Formatting (I will back up and test).
2. Also SD card is not seen when connecting to a PC (driver needed?). I will test after formatting the SD card.
3. Does it need Magisk .APK? If so, will anyone do it? I did install the latest and it seemed ok until I updated Magisk ......it boot looped afterward and I had to start all over again!
4. Does it have Double Tap To Wake?
5. Also, in System it says an update is available, is it ok to update?
Otherwise a really good ROM. Highly recommended.

Bluetooth headset does not work, fix via magisk does not work on aosp

Still didn't recognize the 128GB SD card even after formatting it...
Tried 8GB, and that works fine.

Thank You! Yes, after flashing Magisk in TWRP you need to install the same zip as an apk.

1.No drivers needed. Interesting tho'.. try formatting inside Android.
2.It's a kernel issue ,I cannot do anything.
3.Do not install another Magisk other than the one linked in the thread.
4.It should. I am not sure

try to disable a2dp offload in dev settings.. also you can try installing this apk .

Couldn't get this ROM to see 128GB SD cards, so back to RayOS. Also Magisk was a bit iffy.
Maybe I'll take another look after some improvements. Really hoping this one is developed as AOSP on our A71 is very desirable.
