My Lenovo K3 note bricked and now it boots up to spash logo and says dl image error or something. Downloaded the stock rom and tried the spflash tool but it doesnt seems to work. Please help.

No life whatsoever. Tried as I realized after flash is done that I did a big fail to go into recovery (vol + & - & power) but nothing.
Even SPFlashtool is not seeing the phone nor adb.
Please help me unbricking this brand new phone.

I did the same. I tried to install another rom the tool and flash my phone died.
I did the firmware backup and now I am unable to restore the file Scatter.bin by Droid Tools.
I must have firmware.bat file but it was excluded.
someone could help me with this file. if there is a site to download and there is no way to reverse this? Please help me solve. Thank you

Try to do these steps:
Install all the drivers (including lephone and others)
Open Device Manager on Windows PC
Now plug in your SWITCHED OFF
And notice the hardaware changes
If you find a hardware named "MTK 675XXX Preloader" or something like that, then your mobile can be easily unbricked
if you notice a small triangle under it then the preloader drivers might not be installed
just click on it (be fast because it will only stay for a 10 seconds or less)
and click "Update Driver"
Now, Try to flash using SPF tools
If the above method dosent work then try to boot into bootloader. if not able, then YES, YOU HAVE HARD BRICKED YOUR PHONE

By any chance are you on the Amazon variant v6.6? If yes then that is why as the update has patched the preloader to break SPFT

Im not sure what that code is. I didnt see it in the lists of errors i find. But what restore are you tring to do.
Just a few details might help. Does the phone boot up now. What happened that you need to restore from?
And if the restore is from the 6.6 update, as of now, there is nkt a roll back yet. Unless your bootloader is unlocked. If unlocked i have rolled back my phone three times testing and one other users phone also. If locked will need to wait till root is abailable.

I'm trying to root my R1 HD and I'm getting the message too. Mine can still boot up normally. The full error message reads:
ERROR: S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (0x7D4)
[H/W] Fail to download DA to baseband chip's internal SRAM!
[HINT]:
1. There's an cable communication problem between FlashTool and BootROM.
2. Target might be shutdown unexpectedly or target lost power supply.
[ACTION]
1. Try again.
2. Proceed H/W checking in download cable and target side com port.
3. Monitor if power-drop occured in target side.

If you are on prime update 6.6 or newer then that message is because the preloader has been replaced by Blu the purposefully block sp flash tool.
There is a thread for getting around it for v6.6

There has not been any confirmation if it works on V7.4.1, but it "might work".

any solutions?​Look in Settings->About device->Custom build version and tell us what it is. Someone posted that the phones currently shipping from Amazon are coming with version 8.x which can not be rooted or flashed. If it is 8.x then your phone has been updated and SP Flash Tool can NOT work with it.
plug out your battery, wait 10-15 second and try again. works for me

What version of the ROM do you have? If your phone has been updated over-the-air then SP Flash Tool can no longer be used and the phone cannot be bootloader unlocked or rooted.

FOR SP FLASH TOOLS ERROR S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (0x7D4) AND (2004)
Follow the following steps:
1. Get SP flash tools (Latest version)
2. Download your phone's firmware (from manufacturer site or needrom.com etc) and extract it.
3. install Mediatek Preloader drivers as per your OS version (win x7 , 8 10 etc) and architecture (32/64bit).
4. Run Flash tools with admin as administrator
5. select the scatter file from the firmware folder you downloaded and wait for it to load. (Do not connect your phone yet and leave the battery inserted)
6. Select Download Only
7. Hit the download button
8. Now plug in the micro/type C usb end of your cable to your phone but dont plug to PC. yet
9. While hold down both volume buttons i.e up and down buttons, (Do not press the power button), Insert the Usb cable end to your PCs usb port (Please choose a port thats very reliable).
10. After a while, P Flash tool will begin to upgrade your phone, dont release the buttons yet, let it lapse about 2mins then release them, the firmware upgrade will still continue and it will display a tick pop-up when done (this may take between 5-10mins).
Now unplug your phone, remove and re-insert the battery and power-up your phone. You phone is now unbricked.
Note that the first boot will longer than a regular boot.

Blu has modified the preloader.bin so that it no longer works with sp_flash tool.
Sorry at this point we do not have root solution for devices over v7.4.2 on the prime line and above v17 on non-prime line of R1-HD

First off, you will need to find a group or thread for your device. This thread is related to a different device, so not likely to help you much here.
But if you have an unlocked bootloader, then you "should not" need to use sp flash tool. Just us fastboot flash. But really find some info for your device specifically.

Try reinstal lenovo usb driver,,, you wrote wrong its mtk6752
Hello, yesterday I bought used Lenovo k3 note. Man was selling it for insane price and said that it is stuck on logo. I bought it and thought that it would be fixed by simple flash but I was wrong.
The phone can easily be recognized by computer and when powered on is only stuck on logo "Lenovo powered by android" I can also go in stock recovery and factory mode without problem. But when I try to flash something it always results in errors. SP flash tool starts flashing process but at the end( some checksums) says :" BROM ERROR:S_CHKSUM ERROR(1041) "with no further hint, after little research I did a memory test in SP flash tool which showed " ERROR: NAND flash was not detected!" With following message :"BROM ERROR: S_DA_MT_DEDICATED_PATTERN_ERROR(3098)" I tried multiple ROMs and also tried to flash twrp recovery but it ended in the same way. Please help me if you can.
P.S. I tried flashing without DA DL checksum and flashing process succeeds but when powered on there is no change at all, everything is like before flashing. Also I opened device and there are no signs of physical damage.
Please anybody ?
Hello, anyone knows a solution for a X5 bricked. It's not my phone, someone gave it to me because a bootloop, I try hard reset without luck, after I download original rom from doogee, but there was a problem, two version B and not B, I didn't know wich to flash, I enter recovery mode and it says 6.0, I guess was B version and flash it with sp tool ( with everything ticked even preeloader) after sucessful flash phone doesn't turn on, when I connected to usb with volumen up instead of MTK preloader port it says only MTK Port, I read on some forums that is because flash wrong preloader, is possible a solution? Thank you.
