Nice! Thank your very much for this early build!
I will try it as soon as I am able.
Sent from my SM-T810 using XDA-Developers mobile app

GO hard brother, thanks for all your efforts!

I've been using cm-14 since the 20-9 build, it's running pretty stable, although it's even more stable with selinux in permissive. Looks like some contexts have changed a bit in cm-14. (or the camera and some other routines ignore them)
I found 1 game not playing nicely with Nougat, CSR Classics, but the racing set from CSR work nicely, so I think that's a CSR related bug.

Fixed camera so it'll work in selinux enforcing (not yet activated) and front facing camera is able to save images.
Updated OP.

Awesome thank you!

@T_I Thought you might like 2 comments re your really great adaptation of CM14. Have been using your CM13 nightly downloads for about the last 5 weeks on my T810 and was so pleased with the result that I was slightly hesitant about trying CM14, however this afternoon I took the plunge and installed it as per your instructions. First impression is that I can hardly believe how problem free the installation of the Rom and the Open Gapps 7.0 pico proved to be.
I don't have a huge number of apps installed, about 30, but with one exception they are all performing as scheduled and I couldn't be more pleased, the one app that doesn't work is "Set CPU", there is no "forced closure", no error message, it just doesn't work. There are no forced closures of any other app including the Google Play & Services.
One point which might interest you as you mentioned it in your "OP" notes. I play mp4 movies using the app "MX Player Pro" with the Arm 7 codec installed and they play using the HW+ codec perfectly,
Was initially disappointed that "Theme Chooser" was missing from "Settings" but I can live with that considering how well everything else performs.
Once more congratulations on a really superb "port".
EDIT on 09.27.... @T_I I know this point is insignificant and pure "eye candy" but I love the touch ..... I'm talking about when one connects a usb connection from PC to S2 then the "icon" displayed at top left is now "N" (for Nougat ?) instead of the normal CM icon.

planning to attempt with the t710 again?lol

How much better would you say the battery life has been?
Would also appreciate input from anyone else whos noticed a difference (good or bad) with the battery life.

This ROM is working great so far!!

I can run a cm-14 build for T710 to see if that one boots.

I can test it and let you know , in my limited time I have lol

This rom is very stable, fast and reliable. The battery life is excelent. I use it as my daily driver since sept. 22!!! (Now i have a sept. 27 update)
Thanks T_I for your hard work!!!

Uploaded new image. @RaymanFX got bluetooth working on his device and the fix works on T810 as well. Also CM switched cm-14.0 from staging to release. There is still work to be done, but build shows working bluetooth (at least I can connect a keyboard and that one works).
I noticed crashing phone app and saw one ExchangeServices crash. (don't use both) Updates OP.

Latest build works wonders after I deleted from /system/app and /system/priv-app all the apks related to telephony/SMS/MMS/etc. for my T810.
EDIT: After some time, it all came crashing down, Play Services didn't like the removal of the packages, and some apps auto-removed themselves. Better wait until dev ships out another build.

Just tried to install the Oct 3 version of this ROM and as soon as it boots a box appears saying "com.android.phone has stopped". No matter how many times I click OK, the message just reappears and I can't get past it. Even have to use the power-home-vol- button combination to power off. This is on a T810 after full wipe, install ROM and install 7pico gapps. Tried the install three times. Coming from cellular south 6 ROM.

Please don't forget T710....

I got the same message, but can mute. Don't know where it comes from. I was working on the staging version of cm-14 and switched to the release version. Looks like there are some bugs left. (it's now less stable then with the staging cm-14)

I get the message with the 2 options 'stop application' and 'Mute until reboot'. The Mute option silences the warnings, but the app will still misbehave.
Exchange services I've been able to freeze, the phone app is also used for syncing contacts and I think calendar.

Glad to share with you my builds of CyanogenMod 13.0 (Android 6.0 Marshmallow) for Nexus 4 (mako).
These will probably become obsolete when CM will officially release nightlies for our device, but if as me you can't wait, you can flash it as usual zips.
It is important to note that *at this time of writing* (october 2015), things are not that stable in CM sources. I fixed various issues to make this, and I deeply test everything I build. So, even if I plan a release every day or two (and also depending of my free time in life), nothing will be out if it is too much unstable, I release only "usable" builds.
[About this build]
- Require bootloader/radio from Lollipop minimum
- Contains all CM (kernel, system, ... )
[Note before installation]
- I suggest you to backup your app data with Titanium Backup if you want to restore your apps later

- Gapps (Google Apps) ("Micro" gapps works pretty fine on mine).
[How to Install]
- Boot in recovery (TWRP - please use latest)
- Wipe Data, System, Cache, Dalvik-cache
- Install the ROM
- (Optional) Install gapps
- Reboot. If TWRP prompt you to install SuperSu, deny it.
"But hey! I want Root !!"
So you want root on your Nexus 4 !
At time of writing this (october 2015), root doesn't work *from scratch* Marshmallow/CM kernel. So I included into this, "StephanMc Kernel" for mako, which is basically the same "stock" kernel (the CM one is stock-based) with SELinux set as permissive to allow root. No more adds or tweaks, just a root-possible stock kernel.
All you have to do is install SuperSu and it is good to go.
- Download SuperSU Beta
- Flash them Super Su
- Reboot
- Enjoy, you're now rooted !
[Some recommandations]
- Enable Developer Options: Settings -> About -> tap 7 times on Build number
- Enable USB Debbuging
- Enable Offline APK installations: Security -> Unkown sources
[About Titanium Backup]
- Titanium Backup is fixed since build 2015-11-05
[Where is System Ui Tuner ?]
- Expand the Notification bar until you see the Settings icon (on top right corner)
- Hold on the icon for about 5 seconds
- Congrats! You can find System UI Tuner menu into Settings -> just under "About phone" menu
[About Snapchat ? ]
- Snapchat crashes at login with Marshmallow. You can workaround this by downgrading to v9.9.0 (google it), then log in the app. Once done, you're free to update it as usual if you want.
[Screenshots]
- See attachments
[Working / Known issues]
** Not working **
- (Annoying) When In landscape view, notification panel redraw itself also on navigation bar (fixes coming soon)
- Switching from 3G to 2G network seems not working (fixes coming soon)
** Working **
- Everything else
- Some gapps can lead you to wierd "force closes", please make sure you choose a working one.
- Any other issue found ? Let me know
If an application crashes, please first go to the "Application Info" screen in Settings, and make sure this app have its required-to-work permissions enabled. For example, Browser app need "Storage" if you need to download from it.
[Source / Credits]
- Google / CyanogenMod / Dmitry Grinberg for his awesome work on N4 / Benzo for his nice gapps

Well, It's a very early build, I don't think CM13 will become daily ROM until december
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Forums
I am quite excited about this build.
But at this point, bug reporting isn't very helpful I guess.
Still, I will give current feedback.
1) download manager seems to crash alot. Or at least the browser being asked to download crashes. Dolphin has its own downloader and does not crash.
2) Chrome (Final or beta) crashes... But It's odd because you get the prompt that it is forced closed but it stays working, and works ok after clicking ok. But the prompt happens often so it is not comfortable to use.
3) sometimes auto screen off, like when reading something and the screen times out, can be very slow to reactivate the device. First time, I thought I had to force restart. Phone completely stops responding for a long time. But only sometimes.
I guess it would be more helpful if I provided a cat log but I only remember that I did not install an app for it yet. I can provide in future if you need.

@stephanmc did you make any changes in the source before compiling ? Im having some framework/overlay errors when trying to make my own build but don't know if its the problem in the source or my build environment because I'm building on OSX El Capitan.

Thank you for your report.
"1) download manager seems to crash alot. Or at least the browser being asked to download crashes. Dolphin has its own downloader and does not crash. ".
=> It works if you enable "Storage" permission in Browser Apps info in Settings. Many not-updated apps could crash if they not handle well the new Marshmallow permission system
"2) Chrome (Final or beta) crashes... But It's odd because you get the prompt that it is forced closed but it stays working, and works ok after clicking ok. But the prompt happens often so it is not comfortable to use. "
=> Fixed in latest release 2015-10-31
"3) sometimes auto screen off, like when reading something and the screen times out, can be very slow to reactivate the device. First time, I thought I had to force restart. Phone completely stops responding for a long time. But only sometimes. "
=> Haven't experimented this, but maybe your problem is fixed in latest release

It is probably not releated to your build environment, the current CM source tree is actually pretty unstable. Then yes I made some modifications to source to fix build, let me know if you need some help I'll try to find a free time and help you
Some updates for you guys:
- Build 2015-10-31 is out, with nice CM features (Themes works in this build)
- Since October 28, SetupWizard (the first screen which welcome you the first time you install the ROM) was buggy and audio is just broken in CM Source. That's why I planned to fix it instead of making out a build with "no sound" in the phone ^^. I finally fixed that issue of no audio.
- SetupWizard actually freeze at first time. I will look into it in next days when I will have more free time if it is not yet fixed by CM.
- So again about SetupWizard, when you finish install and the phone has booted, just let the phone freeze, then it will auto-reboot, then freeze again, then autoreboot again, then all will become normal

Currently running BlissPop, looking to try a 6.0 ROM. How has this been treating everyone? Does this have theme capabilities, can I use a CM12 theme?

this rom no longer uses ezio optimizations
09 Dec 2015:
This rom uses ezio optimizations, which causes Xposed not to work.
if you want a rom with Xposed, this rom is not for you.
If you don use Xposed, this is a very good rom.

First let me say thanks for this ROM! I have found that I am having same issue with video on it as I had with the CM 12.1 ROM, using VLC to play videos I have to disable hardware acceleration to play any MP4 format videos and for MKV format files I have to turn it back on.
Beyond that seems quite fast and working well.

This is one of the only reasons I haven't installed one of these custom roms yet.
Just wanted to ask if it was theoretically possible for slim6 to run on the Amazon Fire?
I think that Doze will probably make this tablet into something that lasts longer than 2hrs SoT
OMG im so glad devs are starting and i can wait to test I LOVE ALL THE DEVS ON XDA THANKS and THANKS TO YOU GUYS FOR THE HARD WORK
I installed using supplied instructions and have a bug to report:
When the screen turns off it flashes the screen in the orientation 90 degrees from it's current orientation. So if it is in landscape and I press the power button, it flashes portrait and then screen off. If it is in portrait, it flashes landscape and then screen off. Totally superficial as far as I can tell, but wanted to let you know. Will continue to test.

I have the same issue on Slim, as well as CM with this device.
Guys, any luck with XPosed ?
I got bootloop after installing xposed-v78-sdk22-arm.zip, which was working on original and CM roms.
Also, I don't get random shutdowns on this rom (which made me crazy on CM)
Thanks for the effort! This is awesome.
Ordering mine tonight!!!! Can't wait til I get it.
Is Bluetooth a matter of time? Or is there a fundamental problem?

If anyone is looking to get the Fire in the US, ordering it from Best Buy online for in store pickup is the best way to go. I ordered it this morning and it is already in store whereas amazon has it backordered until December 17th+
ROM installed fine but whenever I try to open Google Play, I get ''Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped working''.
Anyone know of a working solution?
Cheers
EDIT: I flashed a different version of Gapps and that sorted my issues out. (Slim_mini_gapps.BETA.5.1.build.0.x-20151121)
Thanks for the ROM!
Does anyone know about how to fix the vertical stretching on the screen? Is there a certain DPI we should be setting?

Nice. I am mooving most of stuff to the git group. When i'm home, I'll commit the kernel patches.
For those who want to see the image boot without spending a lot of time, check YouTube. (Quality of the recording is pretty bad though)
WOW! Great work! Once we have Wifi working, this will be my Daily driver! Thanks for doing this

For me the touchscreen is the main focus point now. (Wifi and screen glitches fixed would make it usable as a daily for me) Got the firmware and other blobs from a T810 Android 5.1.1 image (Canadian), we'll see what's the result of this compile.
Edit: recompile didn't fix the touchscreen, manually adding the 'system.prop' part of the original build.prop to the build.prop file and reboot helped with the touchscreen. Now to get it in the build atomagically and fix the wifi. (Can turn it on, won't stay on)
A quick teaser...
Screen stays off after timeout, but touchscreen issue was due to 270 degree difference between lcd and touch panel, a config setting which has been added to the sources.

That is the cm-12.1-20151214-UNOFFICIAL-gts210wifi.zip, yep, touchscreen is fixed, screen flickers and you need to be fast to disable the screen timeout to be able to do something with it. As soon as the screen goes dark, it stays dark until you reboot. It is a build of the T710 version from @CTXz with just some very minor changes to get it running on this tablet. (Mainly codename and screen rotation) @CTXz pushed a T810 kernel to the new repo, will test that one tonight or tomorrow.
BTW make sure you have a backup and read the recovery section, regular reboot to TWRP didn't work on my device.
Ok, small update, screen flicker is solved, tablet can be turned on again after screen goes off. However, rotation doesn't work. Not sure if I broke it or it didn't work to start with. Will work on it tomorrow.

I was about the get crazy until I read the end xD
It's been quiet for a while, been learning a lot last week, however, mostly what doesn't work. I hope to get my build environment back to a correct state and build an image that is in the same state as the one on the 16th.
This is a first, developing cm myself. I'm getting frustrated with the way git works. (or at least, it's counter intuitive to me, so I messed up a bit and reverting to an older state is not that straight forward as I would expect it to be) I'll get there eventually, but it's slower then I would like.
Priority list for me:
Getting build environment under control so I get something bootable again
Rotation
SD card
Wifi
Just got the wifi working on the T710. Fix will be applied to the T810 and should work too

Finally it was stable.
All bugs were fixed, and Video Record, too
Old Changelog:
Code:
-----------20160521-----------
Fixed Bluetooth
-----------20160512-----------
Fixed a2dp
Fixed external storage writing
Added thermal config
-----------20160511-----------
720p YouTube support
Audio Patches
-----------20160416-----------
Fixed GPS
Fixed reboot on the lock screen
Fixed display of installed applications
Fixed display of widgets
-----------20160414-----------
Fixed hw decoding, but in YouTube client we can't select quality higher then 360p.
Fixed a move application to the memory card.
Important: When the ROM finished booting. Please go to developer options (enable them first) and switch < Use AwesomePlayer (Deprecated) > otherwise, you won't be able to play videos with the integrated video player.
Also open the Camera App and set front camera video size to 720p (and optionally set storage to SD Card). If you don't do, camera will force close if you try to record 1080p videos with front camera (which is quite fair because stock rom front camera is limited to 720p too). Make sure you also do so in all camera apps you may be using.

This is based from Infinix rom, which more easier to port than using android one rom, so, i think if we do cm13, and it's must based on android one, which make this harder. And this is ported from Nomi device.
Screenshots.
Also the rom did not support 3g on sim2
The default launcher has issue of disappearing of app when install but app when reboot.(work well when install separate laucher)
any fix for this.

It's support 3g, make sure the settings is set to 3g, not 2g, and try to change the apn. for trebuchet, idk why.
Sorry i can't fix that
Plenty rebooting, in fact endless rebooting on locked screen. Tried 2 different gapps same result.
I did wipe data, even did factory reset severally but the reboots persists. Here is what I found out:
If you login to Google account, there will be no reboots but once your Google play services updates and your contacts starts syncing the reboots starts.
If you plug it into charge it won't reboot while charging even if the contacts is syncing.
If you wipe data, rebooting stops. But once you log into your Google account and contacts is synced, the rebooting starts.
Apart from the reboots, it's very smooth and performance on some of mine game is better.
This is a good sign of better things to come as I had wanted to port cm to Infinix but tight schedule didn't allow me.
@RendyAK do you have contacts of Yhogi Hermann who ported the ROM? In my spare time I'll love to contribute to testing, getting logcats, dmesg, last_kmsg etc. Since there's no kernel sources we have to figure out ways to eliminate bugs.

Wow, if there's a way to atleast stop the reboots
Then this is an excellent step for beta testing version
Connecting to charger will also stop the reboots but
This is way better option.
I think Yhogi Hermawan should also come over to
Xda forum too. Once my schedule is free we will
Chat more about making cm work better in Hot 2
There is a bug that when I install apps I must restart the phone to appear

Adapted sources
Since we can compile CyanogenMod with the prebuilt kernel, I adapted the Nomi i504's sources for Hot 2.
Device Tree: https://github.com/Nonta72/android_device_d5110_infinix
Vendor files: https://github.com/Nonta72/android_vendor_d5110_infinix
Note: There's a chance to compile cm13 even with the lollipop kernel, but for best result; you can use the Android 6.0 kernel (3.18.x)

This ROM is Abandoned as Cyanogen pulled the plug on CyanogenMod
As soon as Lineage OS build farm is setup, it'll return as Lineage OS. A new topic will be started. In the mean time, building from source is an option.
This project is the official continuation of the http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-tab-s2-9-7-t3397682]unofficial build.

Can't think of a reason why it should do that. (and why you should do that, with 32 Gb internal)
I'm currently out of large enough SD's so I could transfer internal to external.
Does a format as regular card work?
Can you get a logcat (start before format, stop after it failed) of the format as internal and when regular fails, one of that action as well?
Congratulations, all your hard work is paying off. Great stuff sir. Love your ROM. ?
Sent from my SM-T810 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Not sure how to get logcat but formatting as portable works while formating as internal it all goes through says Sd card is working I hit done and it says corrupted EDIT***: some other people were having this issue on different devices it appears it was an issue with cm 13 that got patched in a different nightly likely the same issue here
---------- Post added at 03:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:27 PM ----------
So formating as internal still goes corrupt but when entering twrp to erase the Sd twrp says it can't mount adoptable storage unit
Thanks for your hard work.
As I am still on the "unofficial" build, do I need to clean flash the official nightly ?
Edit:
Did a clean flash, to on the safe side. Unfortunately though I still cannot get the quicksettings to. I don't even the option in my menu.
Incase embedding doesn't work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tp6c60Andgk
OK so I have a floating logcat did the format and stopped it how do I send it over can't find option to save the log EDIT**** I FOUND HOW TO SAVE but won't let me upload I can send an email with it if that is OK? And only reason I'm doing it is because I have a bunch of big apps and a lot of music I had 2gb free before I erased everything and flashed cm also if I may request a close all button for closing out application
Thank you for the CM port! I am testing this on my tab and like others say, Netflix does not work (cannot find the liboecryptXXX to remove or change filename) and sd card is always corrupt no matter which option you choose (64GB SD card). Let me know if there is anything I need to send to help.

EDIT: just tried again and now all it says is loading I prefer to use kodi so not a big deal to me

Where can I find the tablet version of Netflix? I only see the one app in the Play Store.
EDIT: Also - I am on version 13.0-20160629-NIGHTLY-gts210wifi - Maybe this nightly broke Netflix?

Ahh, just saw this. Yeah, it appears its down. But at least ChromeCast works!
Wow. Official for the T810. Nice job! Should hopefully be somewhat soon before the 710 gets it aswell. I'm thinking of getting a 713 to learn this on. Good stuff!
Nice work! This may just get me off my year-long break from flashing.

Thanks TI for all the hard work in getting this ROM running on our S2's, it's running really nice and smooth for me and I thank you and those who helped for putting forth all the effort in making it happen, it's much better than TW IMO. :good:
Idk if it's OK to post a request in this thread but can someone in the community please create a custom under/overclock/under volt kernel for this ROM? I was spoiled using the ROM and custom kernel that Engine95 made for Lollipop TW and it seemed to take my S2 to the next level especially with battery savings, adjusting the BIG processor down to 500mhz really had a noticeable impact. Idk what settings he used for the undervolting but he set the oc parameters for the little processor up to 1.6ghz and the BIG from 500 to 2.2ghz on the interactive governor and my S2 was running great. I can only imagine what this ROM would do with a similar custom kernel but I know the performance would make our S2's jump to the next level. Thanks again :good:
Is it also possible to add multi user support

Embedded didn't work (here). Thanks for the video, learning more about android every day. I have the option set to right and when I turn it off nothing changes, so I can confirm, it doesn't work. Will have to check on the phone what it should do though and then look into it.

Emailing would be fine. There is a site to share logs online, but I've forgotten which one that is. (will look into that as well)

The T713 is snapdragin, not exynos, different base. I don't know if you can use the common we have, I guess not, as that one depends on the exynos libs.

Welcome back to the light.
At the moment the rom is on phone mode. For multiuser etc. you have to set android to tablet mode.
