Will LeTv Le 2 (Le X526) have custom roms?

I was confused between LeTv Le 2 and Mi Note 3 but then i choose to be with Le2 and i am stuck now with poor UI and Ram Management . now looking at MI Note 3 which has lots of modifications and awesome roms.
I hope devs will make some roms for LeTv Le2 or will have to change it

Never lose faith in yourself, just wait, if you chose Le 2 over RN3, there would have been some reason, have faith, developers are onto it. It's exams time.

The thing is le eco le2 released kernel source many times but every time wrong i dont know what's wrong with those guys. however we can expect soon the aosp rom as 2 days back the kernel source has been released and this was again via their official twitter account so i guess it should be true..

Well today i saw a post with video showing successful boot to CM13. http://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2/development/le2-x526-cm-13-unofficial-booted-t3522212
i hope few custom roms will come before i get frustrated with buggy EUI.

We have got cm13 working go check it out in the ROMs and kernel's

CM13 Aka lineage os has been ported. Few major bugs to fix. You can try that out if you want.

Open GLES 3.2

I've been patiently waiting for Nougat to be released for Open GLES 3.2 with Vulkan but it's taking a long time.
Is there any way to Flash this GPU update via zip without issues ?
I this is possible with other Xiaomi phones but I haven't seen it mentioned here.
This would greatly help with gaming and emulators.

Wow, that's a great news! I guess now we can get a working camera on custom roms.

These sources were released long long back......
But the camera files are incomplete...... And hence no stable camera so far.
And for treble....... We can request the developers.
Since le max 2 has got treble support, I think it will be possible to have the same for our device.

Looking even more I found a Russian forum where the beta of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (kenzo) was ported to LeEco Le 2 which is for the model with Qualcomm processor which are:

- X522
- X527
- X526
I've tried and it works wonders, this LeEco with MIUI 10 is perfect!

Thanks man for sharing this wonder, actually I find it better than miui 9. I tried it on my x522 and it is stable and you feel like you are holding a xiaomi phone.

I have tried once to see it's performance regarding lte, but for me it had similar problem as for miuipro on my x522, i.e it keeps losing signal . Camera was working perfect. Is it just me who has difficulty with miui. Any suggestions please.

No, without gestures because as this LeEco has the physical navigation bar as well as the Xioami Note 3 itself which comes this rom does not bring that function.
full-screen gestures is only available for +18:9 ratio screens

It is Android 6.0 since LeEco died and I do not update more jejej, and it becomes port of Note 3 since that is the most similar hardware and it is also in android 6

well there's a miui rom in rom section based on miui 9 which claims to have gestures enabled, but i really can't download it
on aosp roms you can disable physical buttons to get on screen nav bar though

yes, it does work, I am on it and flawless. you may need to change the region from russia to india if it wont work

Miui account cannot login
I downloaded this ROM and install it in my leeco le2 . After installing this ROM I cannot login mi account. When I filled my correct password there the account is not login. So I stuck only of there. If any solution you have please tell me.

Log in to your Mi account on the website and remove your smartphone there from the account (find smartphone or similar). Then restart your phone and you should be able to set up your phone normally.
This is one possible way.

You need to install a custom core from Overloard and communication problems will disappear. I also recommend installing a patch for the operation of 8 cores (only 6 work by default)

The DEV SHOULD upload the DEV's work not just by someone. You must have permission before posting. I guess the dev didn't post this on XDA 'cause the dev is running tests on it. The "What's working" and "Known issues" section of the post is blank so it's the rom is clearly on test/development stage. [My opinions only. No offense ?]

i bought mi max 2 just before and died before 1 year
but with lineage i have always speaker too low
when call ,too low it's very laborious
with mui10 on mi max 2 or now on note 7 ,
sound was just good but no more ....

waiting some hours to unlock.. willing to try it .. THANKS!
