Google services at Zuk z2 pro - Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro Questions & Answers

I like the phone very much but i'm afraid that google services might not run well. Is it only a matter of installing some apk's? Because i want play store, google contacts etc. synced flawlessly. What is your experience with the phone?

Working everything flawless. See how-to here or at zukfans.eu

Google Plays Services has problems on the original ROM. You can use without any problems contacts, play store and also sync but you'll get problems using Google Smart Lock for example.
You just have to install this 3 apks in this order, Google Contacts Sync, Google Contacts and Google Play Store. Don't forget to install Google Play Services if you need it.
Here's what you need.

You can DL Google Services straight from the Zuk Store.

Hi , i have done it but the google store doesn't connect! error!

Google Calendar Issue (Play Services)

Hii
Since I didn't found something here and on google I created this thread.
My problem is the following after every HellyBean installation the Calendar doesn't work. I open it and it says me to log in with a goolge account but I'm already logged in with mine. Until now i could fix it with replacing the calendar.apk with the one from the Play Store. But since HB 20130305 this doesn't work either. It always shows this message : Install/update/enable Google Play Services.
But this app is already installed and when i open PlayStore and search for Play Services it says me that my device isn't compatible with the app.
I have no idea how to fix that ?!
Thanks for your suggestions

Google account disappears occasionaly

Hi everyone,
I'm on the latest available Android 5.1.1 firmware (L00C17B851)
When I got the phone it had no gapps at all. I installed Google Play Store from Huawei build-in market app, launched it and entered my google account.
After that I got GoogleContactsSyncAdapter to sync all my contacts from xda. It worked smoothly.
Until I installed Google Play Games. I logged in with one of my games, played a little and noticed that all my contacts are gone.
My Google account is gone as well. Play Store just wont start.
I removed Play Store, cleared cash on Google Play Services, rebooted the phone and set up everything one more time.
I have been living without Play Games app since. Until today when I noticed that "backup to google" function isn't enabled. I turned it on and my Google account disappeared again. Damn!
I know the workaround for this problem, but is there a way to fix this?

google play store and other google app crused. :(

after flashing stock rom my honor 5c google play store isnt working. when i try to sign in, it can't. even other google apps are not enable to sign in my google account. when i want to sign in it always crushed. please help. And sorry for my english

Serious problem with Play Store app downloads/updates (apps don't download)

Apps simply will not download. Stuck in "downloading".
Need rebooting more than once per day. Cleaning cache does not work.
I am on Official 3.1.218 ST and latest Play Store Version 8.8.12-all [0].
Very annoying and I am dealing with this for some months now.
No one else has this problem? Strange.
Just install Play store from Chinese build in the rom app store. It should start to work normally. When you see pending or downloading status just turn off the screen and put the phone aside. Usually after couple of minutes apps will download/update. I know it's strange but it should fix by its own.
On 3.5 rom I do not faced this issue either once, where on 2.15 and 3.1 I had the same thing as you after fresh install of the rom. I fixed it as described above.

Just instal google play store and google services from Chinese/Lenovo app store . Then google contacts sync 8.1 , google calendar sync 5.2.3 , google contacts 2.5.4 , google partner setup 8.1 from apk mirror . Then add google contacts sync to both autostarts , acceleration protection list and turn off it in battery optimization . Then restart your phone

Unistalling some not useful Google apps

Is there any risk taken by unistalling the Google apps in the image, will other Google services stop working? Or it's cool to go do unistall them, as I never use them and find them extremely useless

No risk, you can uninstall them
Google Services looks for the Google app if you want to change some settings on your phone specifically linked to your Google account. The Google app is also necessary if you use Google Assistant or use Google for voice unlock or use hands free features in Google apps like Maps. I disable Gmail, Google Music, Google Video, Google Hangouts and other Google stuff I don't use or need but I wouldn't recommend touching the actual Google App unless you were planning on getting rid of all your Google apps and services.
