Hi everyone...Introducing the Nexus Experience ROM. This is a ROM that brings the experience//feel of a Nexus device to the GS5. This ROM is based of AOSP and CyanogenMod 12 and compiled by albinoman887. I Shawn5162 and taking albinoman887's ROM and modifying it to give the end users (you guys) a true Nexus experience. This ROM is currently running Android 5.0 and will get daily updates.

If ai download another camera app from the play store it willi works?

I don't want to be a prick, but you can't put gapps in a oasp (cm) based ROM, for the simple reason that you are not licensed by Google...

Background data
Hey,
I was using the 5.0 ROM in your other thread (on a T-Mobile variant) and noticed very high background data usage for the stock browser. I had only viewed a single webpage and than went to sleep yet it used 158 MB of background data. Just reporting it to ya.
GPS wouldn't turn off either as you can see from the SS.

Thanks for letting me know...already fixed the AOSP browser issue (by replacing it with chrome) and found that some library components in the system partition were missing causing GPS to act a little weird (working on a fix)

After getting it, do I need to install a gapps? If yes, which one?

Running great on my s5 except the camera which was pointed out in the op. Thank you I'll continue to use this and wait for cm to iron out the few issues .. Thanks for the lollipop build .

I just googled a lollipop gaps package and flashed it with no issues.

I'm having issues with the time not setting properly

Airplane mode broke my data, also haven't been able to receive SMS or MMS even when Data did in fact work. Voice also does not work either.

The ROM from the other thread has a lot of bugs, including the one u are talking about....wait a little bit for my revision...it is a lot more stable (but still a BETA)

Your welcome...I greatly appreciate your support....I will be releasing multiple bug fix updates over the next few day (including one today) to iron out all the bugs

When i flash i get a mount error
Mount: Failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.
1/by-name/userdata at /data: device or resource busy
Edit: It still flashes but i just wanted to point that error out.

I don't have a file browser/manager app?
Also, the Dutch translation of "Type a name or phone number" looks really weird in the dialer app, it's so long it's stretched to the next line, but the search box doesn't expand.

remix player - this is a Windows program;
remix os - a separate operating system;

- No Play Store
- No Play Store installer
- Play Store APK also doesn't work. It installs fine, but it doesn't open and it doesn't create a shortcut.

After deleting the user data and starting from scratch the Play Store installer was shown again, but after installing it I got the next problem: It was really hard to enter my email address to log into Google. I just couldn't enter the @ with my German (hardware) keyboard. In the settings I've changed all options to German, but the layout for the hardware keyboard is still QWERTY, QWERTY2 or something else.
The option "Always on-screen keyboard" didn't help. The keyboard was shown, but clicking on the keys did nothing. At least not in the Play Store setup.
I solved it by entering the @ via copy and paste, but it would really be nice if the player would get support for more hardware keyboard layouts.
And I have more questions:
- Can I uninstall the Play Store installer now that I have it installed?
- How can I deactivate the tip that is shown the first time I click into the player window?
- Why there are two symbols for the network settings? One is full screen and the other one is windowed.

Same problem as I reported yesterday, update of pre-installed Google Play Store apps causes home screen ICONs to change, some ICONs can't be deleted (File Manager, Settings, and Remix Central), and some can only be deleted by uninstalling the apps themselves. Also, the Wastbasket ICON is no longer there. See link below for screen shots. I will submit same bug report that I submitted yesterday.
UPDATE: Updating the Remix WiFi app is what causes this problem.

Same problem with touch location registration not being accurate. I will submit same bug report as yesterday.

you need to clean flash if your coming from other rom.

Could someone please upload to mega? I finally managed to get the original download page to work but it fails after about 5 minutes and can't go more than 50b/s....

Better to do a clean installation to get bugged.

No Matter, after uninstalling substratum ans a theme, it was dirty flashable

Thanks but it's 6.0 source, useless for nougat roms...

Just installed this ROM, everything seems to be working fine but I got one problem. This might be driver related, but it used to work in stock ROM. The problem is I cant connect to my win10 laptop to transfer files. When I connect USB and choose transfer file option in my phone, it keeps reconnecting and File Explorer starts popping up the folder and closing it again... Anyone know how to fix this?

That looks like drivers related on your Windows 10... Try to update the drivers on Windows...

On linux manjaro function all ok

Its fixed, I had to enable usb debugging and now it connects just fine.

Still got 2 more questions, I couldent find these options:
- Is it possible to disable vibrations during alarm?
- How to reset to stock button behavior. Like 2 times tap for 'recent apps' for example. Because the current swipe the button right to left doesnt work for me half the times..

i have a problem, i've dirty flash from ob 19 and when install magisk 13.3 when reboot get black screen..

which file for root and twrp must flash ?

Gallery app seems a little buggy to me.
Anyone notice that?
