Moto X - Wont dial out or receive calls .. stuck on "dialing.." - Moto X Q&A

Has anyone seen an issue where flashing to a new rom, you can no long dial or receive calls? I have an xt1060, flashed to an xt1053 rom(stock rom for tmobile).. Now I cannot make a call. I do have data and can access the internet. Any ideas? This has happened since yesterday, so I purchased a new sim and the ability to make calls returned.. but then it went away again when I flashed to a CM13 rom.
Cliffs:
XT1060 Dev edition flashed to xt1053 rom
cant make calls or receive
carrier is tmobile
tried sim in another device.. same result cant make calls.
Is it possible for a custom rom to erase the data on a simcard?

[Q] SIM Network Unlock Issue Even After Flashing with AT&T Stock Rom

Hi All -
I've searched everywhere for the answer to this and haven't been able to find it, so I figured I'd post here. This is the scenario:
1) I have a Moto X that is locked to AT&T
2) I wanted to give the phone to a friend who is on Sprint, so I paid for an unlock code
3) Even after unlocking and inserting the Sprint SIM, I still received the "SIM Network Unlock PIN" message
4) I now want to basically restore the phone completely back to the way it was (locked to AT&T), so it can be used with an AT&T SIM
5) I flashed the phone using RSDLite and the correct ATT ROM, but after the flash finished successfully and I insert a valid AT&T SIM, I still receive the same unlock message.
So my question is basically, can I get the phone completely back to being locked to AT&T, essentially the way it was out of the box? I'm also willing to flash it with Cyanogen or another ROM if that would help.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.
I have same issue, I had my Sim working for a couple of days but I wanted to return to stock to receive further updates and I flashed it with correct at&t firmware package but now there is a popup every time when I insert Sim about unlock code and I am stuck ... I think that's because of erasing modem st1 and modem st2 during flashing with RSDlite ... Is there anybody to suggest something helpful

XT1093 Question

ok so cleaning my house the other day i came across a old phone of mine the Moto X XT1093 Variant (US Cellular) so as i suspected i had unlocked the BL in the past and installed TWRP and i had the stock 5.1 rom and it was rooted, i guess at some point i also installed Xposed Framework...anyways...according to the US Cellular website, this phone is already sim unlocked...so i was thinking , ok cool i can pop a sim from some random prepaid CDMA carrier and it should work...well i flashed dirty unicorns 6.0 xt1095 rom on it and its stable, the US Cellular sim is still in there and its getting a data signal, obviosuly account is off, but then i started reading and i got worried...is it even possible to flash another rom on this phone and it work? like i mean this is a CDMA phone, but i read that all XT1095 is GSM, so is there some rom i can flash that will support some sorta CDMA prepaid? any help or advice here would be appreciated....

I use it with the At&t prepaid sim. I'll look and see if I have some of the files I used to lock on the cdma networks...

Ello ladies and gents. Had to switch from tmobile to att and

I can call out and text but only have 4g signal and incoming calls are going straight to voicemail.
So do I need to flash an att rom now? For it to work right?
Cause I still am running tmobile custom rom.
Thanks in advance.
Wow , may it be a possibility that im boned? I just checked att note 4 android dev and theres nothing that works due to bootloader being locked.
Looks like root was never achieved . So im stuck with tmobile rom on att network. :/ this is horrible.
You cant unlock ATT device bootloaders?
Least I was factory unlocked ....
According to this thread you shouldn't have any problems.

I do not have signal

I tried to install a custom ROM for my Moto E5 Nora, but it didn't work. In the end I reinstalled the Stock ROM but I don't have a phone signal, can someone help me please?
Reactive your sim with the phone company. You can probably do it on line.
Is there any way of flashing a custom rom on a locked t-mobile sim phone to use sim-free?
