Normal PC EARPHONE & MIC to use with u1000

Dear Athenians ,
Hi there everyone ,warm greetings to u all , i hv just bought a dagee dg-295 digital earphone with microphone ( www.dagee.b2s.com ) @ usd 5/- , it is made in China of course , comes with a 2.5m length cable , a 3.5mm jack x 2 holes on the back , one for earphone speaker and one for mic boom , i then plugged it into an adapter - the usual one , that one end is a 3.5mm jack and the other end is two jack holes of also 3.5mm - this is usually for extending another hole to plug in another earplugs for share listening to mp3s , i plug one earphone in one hole and one mic jack into another hole , and then i finally plug in the adapter jack into my u1000 - and u can make normal phone calls with it ! the earplug without the plastic ear loop looks nice , while the mic boom extended out looks futuristic but will work wonderfully outdoor as it is near your mouth , the set is very light and u dont need to charge at all but if u dont mind the cable then this will work perfectly to some as it will be crystal clear for u and the caller on the other side . u can get this set from computer shops usually & the specs is :-
earphone 20Hz-20KHz frequency range
32 Ohm impedance
10mw max. power input
91dBS S.P.L. at 1KHz +/-2% sensitivity
3.5mm plug
2.5m cable lenght
microphone 30Hz-15KHz frequency range
2.0k Ohm impedance
0.4ma max. power input
-52 dB sensitivity
3.5mm plug
2.5m cable lenght
also , the 2 hole adapter is also from China - cost usd 0.50 each , if the prices in your country is expensive - dont blame me , blame the shop - why no bring in cheap stuff from China ? he he he - just joking , no offence
thanks for reading - hope to share more with you guys and gals , bro and sis , have a nice day - cheers - jimmunsw

i think, that your earphones are not compatible with your phone. Test in other phone, like a samsung.
not compatible,
it will work on apple or samsung.
their headphone routing is opposite to ours.

Sound mod dual speaker??

I wanna know if there is a mod which I can increase the volume and use both speakers.
thank you for your time
? up
Xda has a very good search engine !

Yes, you can activate dual sound output and use two different Bluetooth speakers at the same time, but unfortunately there is a slight delay between them which create a weird effect. It is true that I have tried this with two different type of speakers (a Philips AS 141 and a Samsung Level Box slim), maybe with two identical Bluetooth devices it would work better.
There is a mod (and a thread for the mod) which will allow the use of both speakers as stereo - however you can't increase the volume much (if at all) over the default because the earpiece speaker is not designed to be used that loudly - you will get distortion and crackles, and potentially damage the speaker.
You can ask in the relevant thread if the dev can sort out a louder version for you, but personally I'd stick to the prescribed limits, as it will affect sound quality quite (very, depending on how much of an audiophile you are) badly.
You'll have to be rooted for the mod to work as well, so bear that in mind.

There you go, right at the top of the mods/apps/themes section...
Why not just get one of those tiny speakers on amazon you plug in to the headphone jack ?

Very low audio output via the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Even though this phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, the audio output via the jack is terrible.
I have tested 3-4 different earphones as well as gaming headphones but still I'm disappointed.
Even on the loudest volume, the audio seems a bit on the low side.
Any solution for this ? or any workaround ?
Have you tried to push the hj all the way in?

Yes. Earphone fits perfectly in the jack. I said that the volume is low because I compared it with my cheap old phones. And the hj audio o/p was way better than nokia 7 plus.
It might be high volume warning. You don't see this popup if your screen is off and volume stays at the same low level. https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-automatically-disable-the-high-volume-warning-without-root/

USB DACs, dongles, USB-C headphones and the Razer Phone 2

With the Hammerhead ANC USB-C, or the included DAC, or the Hidizs, the RP2 outputs crackling and static at low volume levels. With the latest update, you either get no sound, or the crackling at below ~30% volume.
Using powered external DACs like a Schitt Modi, or combined DAC/Amps like a Sony NW-ZX300 in DAC mode or an JDS Element - there is no crackling.
Using UAPP on RP2 to play music, you can control hardware volume and software volume separately. It appears that the USB DAC and the Hammerhead ANC USB-C don't get enough power at low volumes with other apps and that is why there's dropouts and static..
Is this a problem with just the Razer Phone 2, or with Android in general?
I have the similar issue with my razer phone 2. the Dongle plus any non high end earphones, sounds really loss in low volume. But when I use the Sony MDR 7506, the sound is fine. Seems the razer phone is not user friend to low end earphone.
