LineageOS removed root by default to pass safety net so if you want root just flash LineageOS root addon or supersu
-KNOWN BUGS: You must set a pin/pattern before setting up a fingerprint otherwise settings will fc.
-If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, and is not a known issue with CM,
please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you time, as well as us.
-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catalog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
-You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

Sometimes wake up causes music stutter
Does not work on 4.1 stock ROM's bootloader, please upgrade to stock 4.2 before flashing
Additionally, Dual SIM has the following limitations (once they work):
Both SIMs are always enabled (no way to disable one SIM)
"Receive incoming call while data is enabled" is always enabled
Installation
Make a backup!
If you were on CM 10.1 or a stock ROM prior to 4.2, upgrade to stock 4.2 first.
Install ClockworkMod recovery with SELinux support. Older CWM will result in a "status 7" error.
Reboot into recovery
If you are using a recovery which mounts /system on boot, unmount it before installing
Wipe data if coming from stock or other ROMs (You may get a "status 7" error if you fail to wipe.)
Install the ROM
Optionally install the Google Apps Addon (In Marshmallow, you MUST flash gapps before booting into the system for the first time or else the proper permissions will not be granted resulting in Setup Wizard crash. If you experience the crash, you will need to do a factory reset.)
To upgrade to a newer build, simply flash the zip. There's no need for data wipe or flashing Google Apps again. (However, if you are experiencing strange issues, you may want to try a wipe.)

1)How to set home button as recent key?
Ans:Goto settings-buttons long press action and select "recents app switcher"
2)How to enable root access
Ans:Goto settings-about device and tap on build number 7 times to enable developer option.. Goto developer option Root access and select apps and adb then flash Superuser zip file
3) i cant receive or end calls in full screen but i can in heads up
Ans:Goto settings - apps click on the 3 dot icon and select show system, look for telephone- permission and disable or enable telephone permission to fix it
FOR SOME.. INCASE YOU'RE FACING IMEI LOSS AFTER FLASHING THE ROM, DO THIS:
1- flash the rom by recommended recovery, do full wipe.

Goodix does not work. (Plan to fix it later)

Community tag means that this rom is supported by me. It is not supported by OctOS team.
OctOS team moved all stuff for customisation to other app. So on the first side it is a AOSP; (look at screenshots for more info)
Also OctOS team added more customisation. It is a main differentce from CM.
Also i will make my own changes in the device tree so it will be different in this side.
New build is released.

Well, guys, i found that flex added wrong power profile to T00F's device tree.
'coz there we see that battery capacity is 3300 mah + minimum CPu frequency is 500 mhz.
Which is wrong for T00F
It will be fixed in tomorrow's update.

Thanks man...and from yesterday nyt to now faced around 4to5 automatic reboot...and also while playing videos in stock video player it plays fine..but while enabling audio effects options in video player gallery force closes...after clearing data it is working but after opening 2nd time it again force closes...

You need it inorder to use the google play services and play store,there are many variants of gapps,i suggest u too go for pico

Here i didnt faced such problems. Only some random reboot occured was while using jio4gvoice app. now its ok.

I dont gonna send any antutu score because is stupid, the rom is fas as hell with mipa kernel. You can use bsg camera for mi8, and no, i can only use black theme, its a bug
Is root possible on this one`?
Just installed it to see the boot animation some of you guys mentioned. What I have found is a rom that has almost no competitors for this device at the moment.
Some little things I noticed are:
Language isn't set throughout the whole system. Some settings are displayed in English, although the rest is German.
The dark theme is really nice but like language, it's not present in the whole system. Status bar and app drawer is dark, Google app is light no matter which setting I choose. Maybe there's something hidden in the owl's nest to change that.
Advanced settings is empty.
Besides that it's really great. Super fast, Installation worked like a charm and no errors whatsoever at the moment.
I installed the rom, pico gapps and the MiPa kernel version 3.3.1
Great work @palaych. Hope you'll maintain this, I think this really has a bright future ahead.

First boot took a few minutes (about 5 if I had to guess). I guess this is because I flashed the rom, a kernel, gapps all in one without booting up the system.
Don't panic, enjoy the owl, sit back and relax and after that enjoy a brand new device!
What about photos taken with Instagram camera for insta story. Is it noisy like some other roms?
