Hum the P9 have the Gorilla Glass 4 or not?

Hi all, I'm a new lucky user of this beauty received 3 days ago but after many search I don't know if this smartphone have a Gorilla Glass 4.
On many website it have GG4 but on fews it says no. So who is right ? I have I have a doubt now

It's not advertised as Gorilla Glass 4, but it falls at the same level of hardness.

Yes is pretty resistant it's a good thing

Gorila Glass 4 or no I know only one thing. I own this P9 for one month already, dropped the phone few times, one time i got a significant dent on the chassis corner and the glass is still intact. Never used a screen protector, never paid much attention to the phone, yet there's NOT even a single scratch on the glass.

Whatever it might be (I've heard it's Dragontrail), it's as hard as the Corning stuff. Also good to find out that glass screen on the back is the same stuff used on the screen.

It is a CGG4, on European P9 for sure.

does the s10 come with a screen protector?

So I've been reading that the s10 may come with a preinstalled screen protector similar to the One plus 6T
Can anyone confirm that??

On the Best Buy website is shows it includes a screen protector. Does not say whether it is installed or not. I attached a screen capture.

Possibly, here's a link for a YouTube video that a creator saw when using. Jump to the 3 minute minute mark or just watch the whole thing.

I believe two screen films and silicone case is included in box but I was not able to find that link to verify.

Does Honor Play have factory screen protector?

I bought this phone but I cant really tell even when looking with flash light if it has protector. Atleast screen feel like it would have huawei original plastic on. Does anyone know? Can find any information about it on internet.

I'm no sure, I bought the mine in China and the seller gave me one, if I'm not wrong the seller told me the model is equal to the honor nova 3 (maybe available only in China...) In meaning to the screen protector and the cover. My english is not so good... I'm a middle chinese boy, living in Panama.

My Honor Play did not come with a factory screen protector. Many of their phones do, but they skipped it on this one for mine at least.

Is it correct that you can't use a glass screen protector with the new fingerprint sensor under the screen?

There is tempered glass for the S10 so will be same for type protectors for the Note 10

Only reason I asked was that the first one I found on Amazon said it didn't work with note 10?

whitestone are expensive and looking at that thread easily break so maybe been thinner for the finger scanner . We should start to see more soon

So got the Whitestone one eventually - complete dud! Despite the price and the promises (and all those Youtube reviews - paid for??) the fingerprint sensor doesn't work.
Interestingly now I've looked at Amazon 50% are 5 star and 50% are one star in the reviews.
I don't understand why it works or doesn't. And yes I followed the instructions to the letter, reprogrammed fingerprints and switched on screen protector setting.
Anybody got one that works yet?

Some high quality tempered glass screen protectors for the Note 10 can work with the ultra sonic fingerprint scanner. The Olixar one seems to work

Have you used it yourself? Seems quite an obvious mark where the fingerprint sensor is - even the commentary mentions a rainbow effect - anybody tried this one?
Or what about the Alinsea Screen Protector? My first one failed with the fingerprint scanner as well but they are sending a newer model with different liquid?
Anybody?

I should be getting my S21 Ultra any day now (I hope) anyway Ive read that it comes with a screen protector and Ive also read that it doesnt, so does it come with one and even if it does do you guys put another one on top of the one that came with the phone?
And feel free to recommend one too. Thanks

In certain places, it comes with a screen guard and in some places, it doesn't! The best one in my experience is the one that comes with the phone... Other than that, everyone else has some problem or the other!

If you're living in the best country in the world the USA then it won't come with a screen protector. Just a thin clear factory film that has a pull tab on the top right hand corner.
Rumor has it Samsung stopped applying screen protectors to it's devices sold in the USA. Because folks were returning the complete phone or creating mass warranty claims due to marks on the plastic supplied screen protector. Thus Samsung ceased it for this market. Wasn't worth the hassle.

I believe the snapdragon variants don't come with the screen protectors (US models) the Exynos ones do (Non-US models) I personally like whitestone glass protectors (they can be a pain in the ass to get on, but once you get the perfect fit it's like they're not there)

I have the snapdragon version which came with a pre installed screen protector (got the phone a week ago). The pre installed protector is pretty good but I replaced it with an amfilm glass protector which is amazing!

They don't come with screen protector. But I'm sure yours will, I feel it inside my bones.
