**EDIT**
after flashing gapps - settup wizzard stopped work (latest gapps from opengapps...)
camera bug
gallery sometimes freeze

Why its named 12.1? Latest 7.0= CM14, so it should be CM14.1....?

Installed this rom on my 9190. Very fast and stable. Unfortunately video recording is broken

Bugs ?

Install > boot > Setup Wizard has stopped working
Any ideas?

Latest version of Android is 7.1 also cyanogenmod has nothing to do with AICP they are both completely different development teams, the reason CM is on 14.1 and AICP is on 12.1 is because AICP never made versions of Android based on Alpha and Beta Android but the CM team have (CM 1,2)

Of course there is no ota, this is an unofficial build. If you edit your build.prop it should work yes but without editing it it will just be normal Google now

Hello, this ROM is stable or in beta version? Bugs?
Thank you!

Actually I think the variation is good especially since there's more features that have been allowed more time to become stable with lollipop. I still stand on the idea that it would be awesome to have a heavily modded stock rom along with an over clocked kernel.

~~~ XenonHD ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935F/FD/W8/S/L/K) ~~~
XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from LineageOS 14.1 with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".
It's rock stable, blazing fast
and now buttery smooth too!
Thanks to:
AOSP
LineageOS
SlimRoms
and special thanks to @Fevax and @jesec (8890dev developers)
Flashing instructions:
1. Copy the downloaded ROM to your phone
2. Boot into custom recovery
3. Backup your current ROM (recommended)
4. Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik-cache). If you're updating ROM or have other 7.1.2 already you may not need to wipe data (just wipe system, cache, dalvik-cache)
5. Install the ROM package
6. Install the preferred GApps package
7. Reboot - the first boot will take a little more than usual, don't worry
Known bugs and issues:
You tell me
Important notes:
None at the moment, as the ROM is now very close to stable. Before reporting any bug, please ensure you correctly installed everything, that you didn't install another kernel or mods. Oh, and obviously logcat or it didn't happen
Hey, what happened to the unofficial build of AOSCP you were working on? I was a big fan of that.
As kernel sources point to (https://github.com/8890dev/android_kernel_samsung_universal8890) I'm using 8890dev sources, except for the device tree which is patched.
Basically yes, it's the same.
Nice. Thanks again for yet another rom. I'm gonna try this. Btw just asking , do you have any plans for miui ?
I'm doing some research, not sure if possible (without breaking a lot of stuff).
By the way, new build is already being compiled, changelog already available.
I just flashed this build lol. Will flash the new one once its up .
sir does volte work? calls on 4g?
I've tried this rom for about an hour now. I would say its great but its not really as smooth as I expected. There are minor just a bit of hiccups here and there. Like the closing app animations sometimes seems jerky now and then and scrolling isnt too smooth as well. Gaming performance is about the same as other ROMs , I only usually play headball and it doesn't perform as good as stock touchwiz. All other aosp roms feels that way for gaming. Not sure if this is WiFi related but I was playing headball and i got disconnected. But it happened once.
And video recording is still the same like others where it works recording and playback and after sometime ,opening camera again , recording is fine but when playing back, the video doesn't move but audio is playing.
Overall I like this rom. I will try the next build once its up.
How is the battery life?
Great ! I will test thanks
Today I have completely redone the device tree on top of latest 8890dev sources, doing my best to comply with the AOSP/ROM specific requirements, for both AOSCP and XenonHD.
If you want to build yourself, here you can find the sources ready to go: https://github.com/kylothow
Now only 100% working sources on my GitHub (I removed all that experimental stuff until I manage to fix it).
Soon I'm compiling new builds for both ROMs, stay tuned :good:
Most custom ROMs do NOT include GApps.USually you will need to flash a GApps packagae such as from www.opengapps.com and version for 8.1 No need to upload anything to Mega regarding GApps.
Good work on compiling an AOSP ROM for our device.:good: :highfive:
How to turn off hold down the Back to Kill Apps button
Is there a specific reason you chose to compile CosmicOS over another AOSP such as DirtyUnicorns? I tried to compile DirtyUnicorns and I had many many build issues Did you need to change much to get the device sources to compile CosmicOS instead of a Lineage based ROM using a LineageOS specific device tree (ie Kyasu's device trees)? Some of the issues I had were specific where the LineageOS device tree brought in Lineage components, while the AOSP ROM does not have the supporting dependencies by default. eg "Lineage-SDK"
A lot of the changes appear related to SamsungDoze. FYI: In my last device, to help compile DU, MotorollaDoze was simply removed from the device.mk file.
Hello, try change network status for ex. from LTE to WCDMA and again to LTE. Or just restart phone.
Regarding the sd card, I do not know why this is happening but now I tried to put in my 4GB SD card and everything works. I do not have any prompts to "format the card".
Try formatting your card over the phone or PC, but first backup all data on it. Let me know if everything works or is still a problem.
Good work dev
Any customization?
I have found few problems Dev,
1.When screen is off , it doesn't recognise fingerprint 5/10times
2.even though it passes safetynet, some apps, recognises this as rooted device eg marrow app from playstore (videos are not playable in rooted devices)
is this rom better then rr when it comes to being stable and battery life
Can anyone confirm about ViLTE as I am unable to do it ?
Thanks to the force for bringing up the lastest Cdroid.
I flashed it on my phone and it is good, but there is a problem about video stuttering that it can be seen on youtube videos and the notifications bar.
How can I fix it?
@nicname99
On my phone all is working normal.
But I will look into it.
You can dirty flash the new build .
Please let me know if it's better with the update.
I myself don't use Bluetooth. I only check if it's working.
So I hope you will try and report your findings.
Thanks for feedback.
Battery is fine, no problem with that.
About encryption.
I myself don't use it.
However you will probably have read about it in several threads that it is often a problem. It should work in crDroid BUT, is it also working for our beloved osprey??
I would appreciate it if you would test and report. Others can have profit from your testing.
The only thing is that maybe you have to dirty flash the rom, so be prepared and make a backup.
And thanks for your feedback.
New build is up: crDroid v6.6
Another kernel
Android security patch from 2020-05-05.
The stutter however is still there.
The rom is rather smooth.
The flickering in the UI can be fixed by reverting this commit: https://github.com/crdroidandroid/a...mmit/8194bddad103d30d47cbc5aa34cdf5b268f9f867
It started happening in Havoc 3.5 and I found that this was the cause.
New build: crDroid v6.6 - 20200516
The screen stutter has been resolved.
Many thanks @chil360 for your help.
Thanks @joy2711 for your testing and feedback.
This ROM is excellent. I had to leave it because of the stuttering. Please bring back the old kernel that was in 6.4. Great to know that the stuttering is fixed.
