About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices, Cardinal is being built with Uber toolchain, with most of uber optimizations, with full Substratum Support and with minimal customization, the main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. The rom is smooth and customizable on xxu but,
This rom doesn't support offline charging so never let your battery gets empty.
the first time i took a photo it said cant connect to camera then i cleared camera data then it worked fine but when using flash the camera freezes until photo is captured and you can't save them on sd card .
Also battery isnt so good (for me)

i said it is working fine ,
but first time it said cant connect to camera.
and you cant save photos on sd , only on device storage (the camera freezes while using flash on taking a picture and when the picture is taken camera becomes normal (it normal without flash)

Slim6 and Zephyr are coming soon.Actually i am working on these roms(tipsy,slim,zephyr and aosp-rro) from months,but all these had simillar issues i.e. broken ril and sound.Yesterday ,finally i got the fix.So,now i'll be releasing these roms.

Welcome!! However this is not the first rom with substratum,i have already released BrokenOS (On G+) weeks ago with substratum and the TipsyOS build that i released yesterday also has substratum.So actually this is the 3rd rom with it.

Tested on Sm-g530H xxu
Rom is very smooth and stable .
camera , wifi , hotspot and everything working well .
But this rom lacks customizations as home screen setup , status bar and notification pannel , button setup and little more.

Wow... AICP 12.1 means Nougat right? but kn0497's AICP 11's animation is too fast for me , so i hope this one have normal speed/moderately slowed down

In cyanogenmod roms press power and volume down or you can add screen shot in power menu from setting √ buttons.

Assuming you're talking about a hissing noise in headphones or earbuds, that sound is from electrical interference from either the phone's internals itself, or the headphones / earbuds you're using. (That or if the same issue is not on stock Android then I'd assume its a rom issue.)

Do we want a rom without bugs, of course, but if still not ready to publish it because the post is created? to create Hype for the rom.

so far working good but only one issue i faced till yet , google app is not available on swiping from home screen, pixle launcher does not give weather information , other than that working ok

My camera is not working on any rom , i have changed camera as well , anyone has solution to this problem?
So i used the rom for a whole one day, and here are some issues i faced:
1. Camera sometimes can't be opened.(dev has mentioned it too)
Sol: You need to clear camera cache to open it
2. Time and date gets reset on every restart
Sol: automatic time update if wifi or data is on
3. Gyroscope not working
Sol: Flash this zip (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24533103863141329)
Hope it will be fixed in future builds.

Battery life is more or less similar to oreo ..will update later with screen shots of sot

Gave this a go tonight, but got a weird error when opening the phone app "your phone is not supported, so phone may function incorrectly" which is fine.. tested all ok, but every single time i open the phone? thats annoying!!
tested with ktle & ktledv
did full sys wipe, data and factory reset
hope it gets sorted.. looks like a good rom (then again prolly just me heh)

You sir are legendary! Good job finally getting it working! Wish I still had my s5 for this!
I gave it a try as a Viperos 7.1.2 coral 3.0 fan, but bad news... viper os 7 is so fast and 8 is half of it :\ i think it depends on most oreo roms...
cleaned and formated all what in option is, clean install..tried 2 times... after installation the menu, and app opening is very laggy...i tried to restore all apps with titanium backup, and instagram or opera webpage scrolling was terrible... after first try, formatted everything again and installed all again, but the same...
now i am back to 7.1.2 coral 3 and its lightening fast and happy...
i should say i was also not happy with linage oreo or ressuruction or aosp...what i am happy with is always stock 6.0 and viperos 7.12 coral 3.0 so i wont change it until its as fast and battery friendly as coral 3
i know you will soon upgrade it and make it perfect like coral 3 so i am happy that you are still here thank you very much for the time developing and helping us
