The zenwatch 3 has a curve in the screen so adding a screen protector
is not a good idea, screen protectors do a good job on flast screens but
on a curved screen it won't be long until you take it off due to the edges
getting messed up in a short period of time.
The gorilla glass 3 is way tougher then any screen protector and the
watch's screen is so small that dropping it accidentally would never
crack or scratch the screen unless you intentionally throw it on the
concrete sidewalk.
Many years ago when there were no smart watches which had the
gorilla glass screen savers were a must have accessory.
Good luck,
Have a great day!

Go to http://amazon.com and search for zenwatch 3 screen protector,
they have about 2-3 different ones you can check out.

Im not worried about dropping it, Im worried about banging it into stuff while I am wearing it.

Here is mine with this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KZ7VAQA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) on it. Fits well enough and feels glassy enough to satisfy me. I used a Zagg on my moto360 and it was weird because the surface of that was above the watch frame. This Zenwatch is of course inset. I noticed no diminished sensitivity. Only issue is small band from edge that does not adhere.

The DISAGU is rubbish and it's not glass or even some sort of PET film. They're charging $10 for a piece of plastic, I know this thread hasn't see any activity in months. But here this is for people that are looking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mobVxyGkadc The seller says they have been heat treated to be that flexible.

Minimalistic, super-thin case?

I got my case-mate Clear Armor screen/device protector yesterday (fit quite well by the way), and it came with a nice, soft, and thin cleaning cloth. And I realized - I want a case/pocket for my HD2 made of this or similar material. Will not increase thickness, will protect the device, which means perfect for carrying it in my jeans' pocket. It will also clean the device actually, and you could probably even take calls without removing it

Something like this?
http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/htc-hd2-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
It's nice because it doesn't add bulk and it protects against scratches, but it doesn't really help against drops and what not? I can live with a few mm of rubber to help soften the blow.
i just bought this hopefully turns out nice doesnt scratch on the inside or i might have to get one of those invisible shields

The case-mate I bought was exactly like this one. However, I'm talking about a simple case/pocket made of thin fabric. Haven't seen anything like that. Maybe I should claim a patent

Yeah, this one looks nice, but again doesn't protect the whole device and adds to the size. The invisible shield is better IMO.

Anyway, I'd also like to hear/see/read about the quality of this one

Juppa case

This one seems to offer good protection, a hard shell inside a book style casing. No mention of a magnet.

Bit annoying that he only paid £5 for it when they're now £12 but even at that it's not a bad price.
It just seems like another of a million already available cases. All these dealextreme/ebay cases all look the same to me, and a case is a case, they're all plastic, and they will prevent scratching the screen, that's about it.
I've fallen for this one

Does this mean you already have that case? If so, what do you think of the pleather quality wise?

I posted the original link because I saw a case that took two properties of common cases that are not found together anywhere else, the book style cover enclosing the hard plastic shell. It's too bulky for my use but that doesn't mean it's not going to appeal to someone else, it deserved a link for that reason.

Nooooo. Not this **** again. It's only the shatterproof shield (screenprotector) that is damaged. If you remove them, your phone should be as new. If you searched the forum you would already know this

glass screen XZ easily broken.
I'm looking to buy an XZ. I view on the forums, I see like that.
Do yourself and us all a favour and buy something else.
My phone has survived multiple drops, sometimes even on uneven concrete surfaces.
While the polycarbonate shell does take a beating, the glass has never so much as scratched.
These are 3-4 foot accidental drops though. If you intend to throw your phone around, it probably wont last long.
Also, you should put a screen protector over the shatter proof film or remove the film completely, because shatter proof film is prone to scratches.
In conclusion, I suggest that you get a case and a screen protector should you choose to purchase this phone.
I'd recommend this case that comes with a screen protector for the front.
1st pic
sheet... the speaker hole is totally bent, no way it is subjected to light abuse before break
the rest of the pic
this is still glass
I dunno what is the claim of gorilla glass/dragontail
but i remember that the point of the ion-exchange type glass is to make a stronger against scratches glass
as for the strength, some did say that with the better glass, they ae able to use a thinner piece of glass
(lower weight, and/or cost)
so the end result is still the same
glass is glass, and it will break rather than dent
just the right(or wrong) pressure at the right angle
and the glass will break deeply

Check your black model for air bubbles under the front panel

Just returned my SGS5 due to an air bubble or something under the front panel.
I've seen a lot of black SGS5 with this issue on one of the corners or around the home button. It is visible with sunlight or under a lamp. You need to pass your fingers around the front panel and then they will appear.
Check these pictures I took to see what I mean:

On the white model it can't be seen. Only on black ones.
Check to see if you have it.
Mines fine....had it since release
That happened to my friend but only after he dropped it, luckily on the carpet. Very cheap work from Samsung on a flag ship.
And it's really annoying... any way to fix it?
I had that develop - had the phone since launch day and the bubble developed 2 weeks ago. I took it into Samsung repair Centre and they replaced the screen within the day.

Disappointing to see such quality issues on their flagship.
Checked mine, looking fine so far, have it since launch.
It's mostly noticeable on the black model and in daylight at certain angles.
I've also seen it around the home button.
I've checked several black ones with this issue on stores.
None of them have the tempered glass screen protectors do they? I would hate to see everyone freaking out because their screen protector isn't lined up exactly how it should and creating the same problem.
I can speak from experience. Not that I thought my screen was messed up, but from how there is 0% tolerance with some of the tempered glass screen protectors and they need to be lined up perfectly or else around the corners they will have air bubbles exactly as everyone here shows.

Yes. Mine too, but the glass protection has been changed from 2 monhs ago. There is no scratch on it and I don't use cover
It's a really weird issue.
A guy above said he's was fine and the bubble appeared 2 weeks ago.
Is this something that can appear at a later time?
I think this is due to the waterproof protection.

Weird oval going down middle

Hi, I don't suppose anyone could tell me what this is? I see it very clearly on my new note 9 I got 2 days ago. You can see it easily in a blacklight, hard to see in daylight. Any clues?

Have you got a screen protector on?
It's adhesive within the display.
I got the same thing on my screen? wtf is that?
I do not have a screen protector on. I figured it would be the glue underneath any idea if that will go away, or should I send it in for warranty? I like to study in my room with a blacklight on, and in person, this thing sticks out like a sore thumb lol
Why on earth would you send it in for warranty, this is not a fault, this is part of the production process, they all have this.
As two of my friends have note 9s and this doesnt show on their phones that's why.

Are you looking at your phone under a strong UV light?
There's a whole thread with "thousands upon of thousands " of users that have this defect.
Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
Don't worry, mine has this too (more visible with certain shades of grey though, at 60-65%+ brightness, in a dark room). It looks like some kind of glue or adhesive
Coming from a Pixel 2 XL, it never bothered me too much though. I've seen worse screen defects

same here, never noticed it until I was curing the device under the UV. since the time you are under UV lights should be fairly limited I would guess it's not a problem or an actual defect just that the UV shows up something that likely wouldn't be noticed otherwise.
its like saying the phone smells like a burnt crisp while having it out barbecuing.
but only when having it out barbecuing.
question:
is the phone making the barbecue smell or is the barbecue making the phone smell

hold it closer to the UV light in case it disappears.
