When your finished making it work.
I thought we had it working already?
I put out one on my rom that worked, but had some bugs at the all apps list, but that's all fixed now.
I won't be releasing it because 1.) there's way too many roms out there, I really don't feel like making one and 2.) I have philosophical differences with the roms that are out there (I don't like my work on half-baked, crash-prone builds).

Hey, can anybody point me in the direction of a theme for any of the i897/i9000 roms (not CM7, MIUI, or AOSP) that is based off Windows Phone 7. I understand I can get Launcher 7, apps, etc; but I would like a theme.
I don't want a windows phone, so don't say "Get a Windows Phone if you want it" or anything to that regard, I just like the look.

Aosp i don't think. Maybe launcher pro or adw with a theme is the closest you'll get.

I didn't need a new launcher. I have launcher 7. I just needed themed apps/framework, but I decided to screw it.
Themed app icons? Or the entire app ui themed?

I wouldn't need themed icons when I said I had Launcher 7. I created this thread solely to see if anyone has made a theme, or could make one.
I know you decided to scrap the idea, but if you change your mind or someone stumbles upon this thread in the future (and the fact that I typed all this out and found all the links before I saw that you didn't want to do it anymore) I'll post this anyway.
I did this a few months back with some decent results. Keep in mind this is Gingerbread based as ICS didn't exist when I tried. YMMV on an ICS port.
I used MIUI with this theme. The project has been discontinued, but it may still work with more recent builds.
I used Launcher 7 (Free|Donate) but you may want to try out these apps which have recently become free. I have only seriously used Launcher 7, but previous versions seemed (I DID NOT TEST, this is just what it seemed like) to drain the battery a bit more than I liked. Again, this was months ago and not scientific and the battery "drain" was not serious.

I actually did that already lol, but I was looking for an i897 based samsung rom theme, but thanks a lot for the link to those free apps, I appreciate it!
If anyone is interested, there is now a MIUI launcher on google play, created by miui. It is brand new so lacking a few features but all in all really smooth and fast.

Wow, this is genuinely different. I can't decide if I like it or not just yet. I'll have to get used to all apps being on the home screens. I like the overall look, though, so I might wind up digging this. Thanks!

I think Miui took the app off the market since I can't find it on my phone even though I have it installed.

Ok guys, so far this is just a base for a project, currently my device doesn't have root, therefore I'm doing what i can without. Therefore here is the sense 7 launcher working that can be installed on your Galaxy S6/Edge. Install both APK'S
Once/IF we get root i can definitely get things working better. However, in the meantime, when placing widgets you can jut tap them, and move them later.

Just stalking the forums lol. The wife got the Gold Edge so I figured I would look around and kill some time. I'm worried about the battery life for her use. She got the gold edge because it was pretty lol. Why did you not really like the edge?

I wasn't digging the way it felt in my hand honestly and my hands would occasionally touch the screen on the edges

Ok guys, so far this is just a base for a project, currently my device doesn't have root, therefore I'm doing what i can without. Once,/if we get root i can definitely get things working better. No Notification Badge Numbers on icons
I assume because we arent rooted yet on this one that the Numbered Badge icon notifications that go on top of the App Icons won't work until we can get it rooted and figure it out? I have the sense launcher installed and when i get new emails or text there is not badge number on top of the icons?
Any way (presently) to change the settings for the clock/weather widget on the Blinkfeed page?
Update: Went to the original creator of this launcher to get what I was looking for

I have that version running on my S6 Active and it works great. I had an HTC One M7 before moving over to the Active and after using it for a couple days I started missing that Blinkfeed and this seemed to cure my fix. Kinda like the best of both worlds, the only other thing I miss is the front facing speakers, but I guess the military ruggedness will have to make up for that.

We missed you much in the S4 threads. Yours was one of the 1st custom roms I ever flashed. Actually started an obsession with debloating any and all ROMs installed, till All_Iraqi came along.
