Governors only for XPerience project
You Kernel Developer aren't allowed to use my governors without ask for my permission.
Alessa:
A less aggressive and more stable ondemand modified by klozz(AKA TeamMex). A good compromise between performance and battery. It can be used with the complementary hotplug governor.
This governor is a balance between performance and battery.
XPerience:
Made by klozz (AKA TeamMEX)
The governor aim for an “ideal frequency”, and ramp up more aggressively towards this freq and less aggressive after. It uses different ideal frequencies for screen on and screen off, namely awake_ideal_freq and sleep_ideal_freq. This governor scales down CPU very fast (to hit sleep_ideal_freq soon) while screen is off and scales up rapidly to awake_ideal_freq when screen is on. There’s no upper limit for frequency while screen is off.
This governor is a balance between performance and battery.
HOTPLUG:
Alessa Hotplug:
A simple hotplugging driver optimized for dual to octa core made by klozz (AKA TeamMEX).
When the device goes into idle state, the hotplug is responsible for moving the processes to a single core, keeping off the cores that are not in use.
And it lowers the frequencies to the lowest possible, but without getting to remain in a deep sleep of which it does not wake up.
Note:
Touch boost enable only if you do a hard work if not maintain it disabled .
Alessa Thermal Optimized:
An in kernel replacement for Qualcomm's Thermald. Developed by TeamMEX.

So stick to it. I wouldn't count for battery life similar to stock. It depends on many factors though
@batlin
Nice! Did you really manage to compile the kernel with something higher the 4.9.4? I always got error messages (I didn't forget the compiler file before you ask )
Gesendet von meinem LG-D405 mit Tapatalk
Good,i love it. Thanks bro.
@GrinningFerret
Maybe some warnings are treated as errors.
I disabled all warnings in kernel's makefile.
And i saw you committed that gcc 5 changes

@batlin:
Bug reports:
1. Sometimes, the screen can't be turned off by pressing the power button, as pressing the power button does nothing. Had either use the double-tap-statusbar option or pull battery to solve this issue.
2. The indicators for battery, WiFi and signal (top ones, not the tiles) look displaced (see screenshot #1). I expect that this is due to ibocharov's Flat Style Bar Indicator (Xposed module), just want to check that I am the only one with this issue.
3. Toast notifications look strange (see screenshot #2). The app icon is displaced and located on top left corner of toast notification. Are you able to reproduce the issue?

Many thanks for this rom!
I have noticed 2 bugs:
- video recording from Motorola Camera crashes and reboots the device. It happens quite often, so it's not hard to capture the bug.
- same problem with a stock camera app which comes with this rom.
I captured logs just like you suggested, but the page https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=19282#bugReporter is empty. How would you suggest to report the bugs?
By the way, I really enjoy the feedback animation each time I tap on home button in navbar. It makes the rom a bit special
All 7.1.1 rom has same problem, when using stock camera or another camera application, on video recording mode phone restarts and reboots. this is cancer of Nougat roms. that's why i am using 6.0 stock rom XT1095 i have

I have tried almost each Nougat rom represented on this forum and the problem persisted on each of them. According to numerous comments from other members my problem is not that unique. Each thread here contains questions from users like "is video recording working on this rom?"
Anyway thank you for leaving a comment about CrDroid! I'll see how things go with Lineage. CrDroid sounds like an alternative if camera bug persists. Does it support OTA updates by the way?

Linux 3.18.103
Attempted to fix baseband issues with Magisk installed
Various minor kernel updates for LZ4 routines, BT, display etc.
Added Lazyplug hotplug by @arter97. (Cherrypicked from ProjectK by @khusika)
Added Relaxed governor & make it default.
Added GPU overclocking & correctly implement CPU overclocking with higher voltages? (These WILL use more battery. I do not recommend the higher voltages as overvolting uses more power, and reduces the lifespan of your device.)
Converted Adreno Idler to State Notifier.
Changed the initial GPU freq to 133MHz. This allows Adreno Idler to idle on the lowest frequency of 133MHz, instead of fluctuating between 216MHz - 320MHz.
Fixed Impulse governor.
Under the hood changes such as tuned tcp_westwood.
20180408
Added Boeffla wakelock blocker
Added frandom RNG driver
Added Qnovo charging driver for maintaining temperature.
Added State notifier
Fixed impulse governor
Reverted 2500ma Fast Charging.

Awesome rom! ?
First of all its a great rom, probably redifines smooth..
Found my first bug though, even when i enable the option to show charging info on the lockscreen it does not display it..
Edit:
Please ignore as my substratum theme was causing the issue.. Removing the theme resolved it.. And once again great rom!

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

The only fast charge that is possible to activate is the one for charging via pc and that's up to 1000 mAh, actual fast charge via charger isn't possible to be activated
ah ok. But with RR with oreo i think there is the fast charge or not? 10 percent every half hour is very low....no chance to speed up the charge?
