Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016 (SM-T580) hangs in Donload Mode after failed flashing - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HELP PLEASE!!
I tried to flash the TWRP-Recovery via Odin following this instruction:
http://www.droidviews.com/root-galaxy-tab-a-10-1-wifi-sm-t580-2016-and-install-twrp-recovery/
instead of the XDA-instruction since it contains some pictures and everything was o. K. till I made step 9 and disconnected the tablet when I received the message from Odin "PASS".
Unfortunately this tutorial forgot to mention that I have to wait until also "the progress bar on phone should stop" as it is mentioned in the tutorial here on XDA:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/development/recovery-official-twrp-gtaxlwifi-galaxy-t3437666
I know I am a fool since the tablet clearly states "Downloading... Do not turn off target" and the progress bar is very close to the end but was not complete. Now this message is frozen on the screeen and I can't go back or forth.
I tried to restart the tablet normally and into the downloading mode, I tried also to reflash the TWRP-image with Odin but Odin does not recognize the tablet being connected. I tried to remove the battery (how? I can't open the tablet, also Youtube didn't help me).
Does anybody has an idea for me? Should I wait until the battery is completly drained so that the tablet automatically turns off?
Please, please, please help me since this tablet should be a gift for my wife and no I fear to have bricked it forever.
The tablet is (was) running Android 6.0.1, Kernel is 3.18.14-8761055, Build is MMB229K. And I also noted T580XXU1APG1.

Hold power and volume down to reboot, then quickly switch to holding volume up, power, and home to boot into twrp

Thank you Bengmo64, I will try this later. Meanwhile my battery is drained and no longer showing the Donwload Mode screen.

Thanks - this combination lets me leave the DOWNLOAD MODE screen :good:!
I could reboot into recovery and - WOW - TWRP was installed properly!
I could now flash SuperSU-zip and thus my tablet is now rooted.

[Q] Help! Bootloop, no recovery mode, no odin, stock everything on 4.0.4

Is there any hope for me?
Running stock 4.0.4 on my unrooted GT N7000. Phone was plugged in and charging (nearly full 89%) when I tried to use swipepad to launch my goole reader app. Everything froze while still in swipepad and was unresponsive for about five minutes while I waiting for a crash report. Crash report never came so I tried the power button. No response, still showing the frozen swipepad screen. Took the battery out and put it back in again, hit the power button and it shows the galaxy note launch screen (Galaxy Note GT N7000 in white on the black screen). It stays there with no change (this is a bootloop, right?).
I've tried going into recovery mode (vol down, home and power) and nothing happens, it just goes into the bootloop. Tried to get into odin mode (vol up, home and power) and I can get to the warning screen where you can select either boot as normal, or download mode. Boot as normal leads to bootloop, download mode gets immediately frozen.
I've also tried the "take battery out, hold volume, home and power while replacing battery" process with no luck
What happened? What did I do? What do I do?
I'm dying here.
As far as I can tell, all solutions I've seen have involved access to recovery mode....

You are not in a bootloop (which is when the bootanimation repeats over and over) you are stuck in the splash screen. Anyway, that is not important. As you are running the stock ICS firmware which has the brick bug, I would suggest you flash the rom again in ODIN PC. Find your firmware and follow the tutorial in here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360
DO NOT TRY TO WIPE ANYTHING IN STOCK RECOVERY.

Thanks for clearing that up (re the bootloop vs stuck in the splash screen), but looking through the tutorials, even with Odin installed on the PC, I'll need to get access to the recovery mode.
I can't boot into recovery mode. What then? Is there any way to flash a rom without recovery mode access?
From what I know you need recovery or download mode to flash a ROM you may want to order a USB jig and see if you can get it to down load mode that way other then that you may be bricked

My USB port is tempermental. OTG has been out of commission for a while.
So basically, through no fault of my own and without any recourse my phone is dead.
That's just great.
So, is this Google's fault, or Samsung's?
If you have not modified the phone be it kernel, rooted it, or custom ROMs then it would be a Samsung issue in my opinion anyways

Hmph.
Well thanks again.
I guess a terminal diagnosis is still a diagnosis.
Gutted.

[Q] Galaxy Mini II (GT-S6500D) Bootloop (Can't access recovery, download mode)

Hello guys, i have a problem with my bro's gt-s6500d..
the problem is the device is keeps rebooting (first turned on shows samsung logo, then endless vibrate only) and i cant go to recoverymode with buttons or adb and download mode (i can do it actually but only few seconds it restarts again). googling isn't helpful.
the device wont turned off, when i pulled the battery and put it on, it will turned on itself (like BlackBerry)
the device is not even modded or rooted. everything's still stock.
haven't try USB JIG or JTAG. Maybe both of those will be my last option (since they're cost some money)
so can you guys help me out? thanks before :fingers-crossed:

phone is bricked help please

i was planning on flashing a custom rom on my galaxy s6 today but at work i watched a video on how to get twrp recovery, so i downloaded it on to my phone, followed every direction and step using flashify then when i installed twrp and rebooted my phone it got stuck at the boot load screen, i cant even go to recovery mode nor download mode, everytime i hold the power button and volume rockers it just cuts off and boots back to boot loop cuts off boot loop and so on, idk what to do can someone please help
Slow down, take your time. This is not a permi-brick. Just go back, start at step 1, and try again. There is hope. There must be a way to get into recovery.
I'm having the same exact issue, I'm able to get into download mode by holding volume up, home and power buttons. I'm downloading the stock firmware now and I'm going to try to flash it with odin to see if it works.

If you two can't get into download mode for whatever reason get odin to the point it says waiting for phone or connection or whatever it says then let it boot loop a couple times with the phone plugged in (preferably start from a powered off state). This might just have been lg but for some reason I remember odin rebooting my phone into download mode if the program was at that point.
*edit*
I feel like I wasn't clear enough. You want the tar ball loaded and hit start before you plug the phone in. I could be way off but it's worth a try.

GT-N7000 hard bricked! Help

Hi everyone. I have read the many threads on how to unbrick my Galaxy Note 1 and nothing works.
The problem appeared suddenly when I was trying to close an application called voice recorder.
The phone started to get on a boot loop. So I removed the battery, put it back on and tried to reboot it and was presented with a welcome menu set up in spanish. I shut down my phone, then removed the battery again, put it back and rebooted and since that my phone is no longer working. I have a completely black screen with no activity whatsoever.
I have tried the recovery option: volume up, home and ppower buttons with no response from the phone. Looks like it is completely dead
I have tried the flash odin option volume down, home and power button and none of my odin programs (odin 3 v3.07/ v1.85 or v.1836) are picking it up on the port.
What are my other options to revive my phone.
The last flash I used was Jelly Bean N7000XXLT9_N7000XXLT3_N7000OXXLT3_HOME.tar.md5.
I am also waiting for a jtag to come in the next few days.
Many thanks for your suggestions if there are any.

Battery has been fully charged and is brand new and as I said nothing happens. No recovery, no download mode possible. Looks like it is all flat and dead!

I need help lol after flashing in odin

Hi all, this is sadly my first thread in xda, sadly because two things: for being a help-ask thread and because the reason im posting it:
So i decided to flash the new ASIG firmware to my S10, and I don't know what went wrong because odin flashed all right. when i rebooted my device did the key combo to get into recovery mode but it didn't work. Can't pass from the first boot screen because it keeps rebooting
some info to feed your sugestions:
-i was rooted and running a custom rom (August securitypatch on BeyondRom)
-patched AP file in magisk
-ianmacd TWRP
I have tried to get it into download mode, recovery mode, normal OS, magisk boot.... nothing works it keeps rebooting. I remember the battery was like 60~70 % and have been like 7 hours and keeps rebooting.
Also i have tried to get it to boot in download mode waiting till screen goes black pressing voldown and bixby and catching the right moment to plug the cable in it and stops rebooting but doesn't boot either. If i press power button starts again rebooting and the same happen if i disconnect-reconnect or free-press any of the button combo even for one second...
so i have been tweaking my devices like 3 years and this is the first time i think i screwed up one, i always tought it was not possible (hope don't) but this time i think i made it
Do I? there is no fix?
i'm waiting to the phone gets fully discharged to see if powered off can i get it to boot into download mode and fla**** again
is there another way to get it to go into download mode? like old phones with the usb jig
it is a way to turn it off??
do you know what could be the reason to get in this state?
sorry for too much questions but i had a s7 edge before and i messed with it a lot, one day deactivated oem unlock, flashed wrong custom roms and broke it (software way) a lot of times and i always was able to get into download mode and fix it but this time i can't get it to work
so please help me and thanks for read and try to help (if anybody) lol r.r :crying::crying::crying:
FIXED
i'm happy to have been right, its hard to hard brick a device hehehe just after some minutes after (panic atack) post battery went out of energy pressed key combo comected cable to pc and booted un DM im sorprised because did not lost a byte of data
When the S9-S10 Starts bootlooping and won't go to DWNLD mode or Recovery, Just hold Power + Vol DWN + BIX for 5 seconds, release, repeat for ten seconds, release, Repeat,
After that the "upload mode" should appear. and you can just hold Power+Volume Down until the phone reboots. This time the keys will finally boot you into the desired mode...
