Very hard Brick. Only Bootloader warning - RAZR i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello there. Me was given a Razr i XT890. If i turn on there only the "Warning Bootloader unlocked". I try to get in Fastboot mode or any other mode but i only stuck in this window or nothing. I dont even get a Batterylogo if i load with the wall charger. I put it on my PC but nothing happens. No new Device. No ADB. Nothing. Can i rescue the phone or is it only a paperweight?

Most likely a brick. U could try to do something with the xfstk flasher. Search it up, get the right files and hope it works

It's recoverable!

The first thing you should do is to see this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTzaiwj-bGw) to install libusb on your computer (if you are using Win 8 or 10 you will need to remove the signing imposition on driver installation - search for it).
The second action is to download the programs provided in this other topic of the community:
Download -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1795067&d=1362945847
Topic Forum - >https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2184877
Then follow the instructions:
1 - With the cellphone turned off, connect it to the pc by the USB cable holding the camera button, when vibrate, release. (The green light should be on).
2 - Run xFSTK-SoC-Driver-Setup-1.0.3.exe and follow the instructions. (Your cellphone will probably turn on and will be locked on the bootloader unlock warning screen).
3 - If the phone has turned on, it will remain locked, then press and hold the camera buttons + volume down + power button. (It should vibrate, then release the buttons, if all goes well it will turn green).
4 - Run the unbrick.bat, when you start the prompt keep holding down the volume button of your cell phone. (If all goes well it will restart, continue with the down volume button pressed, when on it should enter fastboot mode.
If you get here and he gets into fastboot mode, CONGRATULATIONS you got it. Now just install the rom via RSD Lite. (Look up if you do not know)
Remember that your cell phone must have the bootloader unlocked for installation of the factory rom.
I do not guarantee origin, be aware that it is at your own risk
I hope I have helped!

Great! People from everywhere thanks you a lot.

Hey, Bruno! You prolly don't open this forum anymore, but I'm trying to unbrick a moto razri that has this exact problem. I'm trying to follow the steps you sent, but it's pretty confusing, since some of these files are from 2009 or from some other windows like XP, Vista, or 7, and I'm trying to do all of this on my Windows 10 machine. Can you please try to update these steps? Thanks!

P9-Lite bricked, stuck in a bootloop, can't access twrp recovery mode or fastboot mode

EDIT: I got to fastboot mode finally, just by trying different USB cable... (am I dumb? yes. really.) I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time that tried to help me!
I tried to install xposed via TWRP, and after that I got stuck in a bootloop, then I tried to install something in panic in twrp in order to fix my phone, and then when I was about to boot, it said "No OS installed are you sure you want to reboot?" I tapped Yes. Now I can't access my recovery mode anymore.
I haven't installed fastboot on my phone or whatever (dont know does it have to be installed to get access to it) but when I try the button combination I'm not accessing the fastboot mode.
I'm stuck in a screen where it says 'Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" and in the bottom is says "Your device is booting now..." and does nothing.
Please I really need help, I paid for my phone 300 euros and have had it only like month... also i'm addicted to pokemon go and my p9-lite is the only device I could play it with, and my family isn't the richest one and I can't buy a new one in like a year

To access fastboot mode. Make sure the phone is off. Press and hold vol down and insert USB cable. That should bring you to fastboot mode.

what about 3 button combination???
Hold vol- ;vol+ and power button, when huawei logo appers realise power button.
Sugestion. Dont mess with TWRP and zips if u dont know what are u installing.
P.S. DC phoenix can fix your phone, but it cost 15 EUR and u should be able to acced fastboot.
Sent from my EVA-L19 using XDA-Developers mobile app
the 3 button combination doesn't work either.. also DC phoenix won't put me in fastboot right? as I've searched online about it.
And I won't mess with twrp ever again when I get my phone back.

Is there any other ways to install the firmware than fastboot? like some kind of tool on pc so it forces the install and your phone doesn't have to be in fastboot or anything?

I'm never gonna do any modding to my phone ever again
Hi, I have a problem with my p9 too. I can't access fastboot or recovery mode. The phone stays on black screen, no led. When i pluged it on usb, he is detected but as "USB SER". How can i do to reflash ?
My P9 have problem who help me......plssss

Brick -> QFil works -> Different Brick??

1A) Accidentally relocked the BL while on custom recovery and rom. Bricked, only turns on to blank black screen w/ solid blue LED.
1B) Able to go QFil Q9008 mode but all attempts result in errors, mostly Saharas. Unable to get into Fastboot
2A) Out of nowhere, days later. From OFF state, Vol+ and Vol- and plug I get the initial screen to scroll to select Reboot, Recovery, Fastboot, Reboot options.
2B) Was able to get into Fastboot and recognized by All-In-One Tool by Mauronofrio but I could not unlock the BL because I could not get a successful unlock file download.
2C) Also was able to get into EDL and what looked like my first successful download/flash in QFil 9008 mode. All previous attempts For the first time I saw progress bars and it was complete, okay/closed.
3A) Nothing happened for a long time so I unplugged and power cycle. Now its still bricked but in a different way. Button combos yield a quick vibration, green LED flicker once, back to all black screen, over and over.
3B) I am assuming I am in a worst brick than before? Now I am unable to get into Fastboot, EDL, computer doesn't even prompt driver issue when its off. Where now?
Hi,
I had the q9008 issue too after flashing the ZUI ROM with QFIL.
Phone turned off itself and then, nothing but a vibration after 15s on power button, and PC recognized it as Q9008 port. No screen, no LED.
I tried to plug it to PC after battery died, and had the red LED. Tried to charge it, and it went alive again. Now it's on AEX and everything is fine.
You can try that way, or follow this guide (I would do that if it would not be alive):

Help: I can't access the bootloader on Z3c

Dear XDA users,
I want to unlock my (GFs) Z3c and I am unable to access the bootloader.
Starting the phone with Power + VolDown does not do anything, as long as the VolDown is being held, the screen stays black. When powering up the phone with Power and hit VolDown right after that, there is a loop where the phone shows the Sony logo and turns black each ~15 seconds.
Executing "adb reboot bootloader" shuts off the phone (the LED shows blue after that).
The device is a refurbished one with branding from "Telekom Germany" that we got as a replacement from our phone insurance after dropping the first one.
Is it possible that the bootloader is hidden somehow or missing/faulty?
What can I do?
I have working Flashtool and ADB on Win10 Pro (with disabled driver signature checks).

1. Check if bootloader unlock allowed = yes, (open dialer, enter *#*#7378423#*#* and go to service info-configuration).
2. If yes, unlock bootloader - https://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader (backup ta if you want - https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...versal-dirtycow-based-ta-backup-t3514236/amp/)
3. Flash recovery: install official TWRP app, select recovery for Z3c, download and flash on computer with terminal command 'fastboot flash recovery'.
I confirm the same issue as OP. I've downloaded the respective firmware and have confirmed via the service page that the bootloader is unlocked.
Now I'm trying to boot into fastboot via "adb reboot bootloader" and my phone looks like it turns off (no notification lights). When I type "adb devices" and "fastboot devices" both are blank ("adb devices" could find the device prior to the reboot command).
I also tried the Sony instructions and pressing Vol Up + Plugging in USB and this also has the same result as above. Not sure what to do next.
Update: I'm using Windows 10 and the problem was that it would not install the unsigned drivers that came with Flashtool. Once I rebooted Windows in troubleshooting mode (Shift + Restart) and disabled the signed driver requirement, Flashtool installed correctly. I reflashed the phone for good measure and now following the normal steps fastboot devices picks up the phone.

[Guide] unlock T510 bootloader

Disclaimer: your tablet warranty will void. Proceed with your own risk
Warning: your personal data, except on external SD card or USB drive, will be wiped during the process!
Prerequisite:
Host PC installed Samsung Smart Switch
USB C cable
Your tablet battery should be 70% or higher and you have done data backup
OEM Unlock enabled
1. About tablet
2. Software version
3. Hit Build Number few times
4. Enable USB Debugging
5. Allow your host computer
6. If you don't see OEM Unlocking, wait for 7 days or do the following trick
https://www.xda-developers.com/fix-...y-s9-samsung-galaxy-s8-samsung-galaxy-note-8/
Are you ready? Let's do it.
1. Turn your tablet off and disconnect USB cable
2. Press and hold both volume up and down buttons and connect to host computer
3. You should see factory reset screen, but this time you should see one more option. Press and hold volume up to unlock the bootloader.
4. If you see a warning screen on boot, the bootloader is unlocked.
Currently I am still finding how to make patched boot and post update later how to root.
John Wu, the developer of Magisk, already has an excellent guide for rooting the Samsung Exynos devices here: https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/samsung
(Just ignore references to the Bixby button.)

I followed his guide except there's no bixby button but something goes wrong.
Even KNOX tripped, I don't see root no matter how I try.
***** update *****
This time I started all over and patched AP with Magisk provided in the link and this time it worked.
Press and hold both power and volume buttons to turn it on. Release both buttons when the screen flashes briefly (it bypasses bootloader warning) and you will enter system with Magisk.
Unlocking with Linux?
This thread is the only one I see that describes how to unlock the T510. Unfortunately it requires the Samsung migration tool (why?) and it doesn't exist on Linux. I've tried hooking up Heimdall 1.4.2, but I only see the download mode screen. I can either flash something or restart. I got the PIT from the device now, but I don't see a way to unlock the bootloader. Can it be done with Linux?
Well, I decided to go verify the OEM unlock switch (which I ticked yesterday successfully), and it was unset. I just re-set it, and I have the unlock option. I don't need to have the migration tool on my computer, thankfully.

Dumb question %-( : instructions say to press Volume Up AND Volume Down. There is only ONE Vomume button wth three positions, Idle, Up and Down. How can I mash Up and Down at the same time ?
Should I do it power-on or power-off, with or without USB cable connected to my PC ?

Anyway - the Up and Down parts of the volume button can be pressed at the same time. You can see this if you first press the Up part, and while keeping the Up part pressed you can then also press the Down part.
Do this while the device is off, USB cable not connected, then connect the USB cable.

What I actually said earlier was that you should be holding down the volume buttons when you connect.
To be clear, and as per the OP -
DIsconnect the cable
Hold down the Volume buttons and keep them held down until after the next step
Connect the USB cable from the tablet to the computer (which should be on at this point)
You should see the factory reset screen

I'm not sure @milsabords understands that the vol button is NOT a "rocker switch", where you press one end or the other, but TWO switches where you CAN press both ends at the same time and, while holding both ends down, you plug in the USB cable. There is no need to press the power button. A green screen will appear and then you release both buttons and follow the on screen instructions.
edit: And, BTW, you didn't have this problem with the T58x because its bootloader was never locked.
@MossyTC and @lewmur
Thanks a lot for your patience. It worked.

Another prerequisite, at least for me anyways, is to update the operating system on the tablet first. I bought my tablet brand new and tried to unlock the bootloader. The Smart Switch software did not recognize my tablet when I go to the unlock bootloader screen, so it wouldn't do it. I had to boot back into the OS and update to Android 9. After that, Smart Switch worked and the bootloader unlocked by following the directions in OPs post.
Hi,
I've followed instruction and got the unlocked warning on reboot. The device appears to be unlocked.
Odin failed to flash TWRP with the device showing "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed (BOOT)" in red.
I went into developer option, there is no longer an entry for OEM unlocking.
I then did the time trick and reboot the device. Not sure if this step matter. But after that the option showed up greyed out, saying the bootloader is already unlocked.
All good now

ADB isn't needed. You use the same procedure to relock it as you did to unlock. When you do that, the option will be to lock rather than unlock.
PC doesn't see device
When I follow this procedure, I do get to the right screen on the tablet, but my PC does not see the tablet at all.
Same thing happens with download mode. It only works if I enter download mode by ADB command.

When you follow what proceedure? The correct proceedure doesn't require the PC to "see" the tablet. Plugging the cable into a PC is ONLY to bring up the unlock screen on the tablet. You can't do it by plugging into a charger because the tablet won't get the correct response on the data lines. But once you get the right screen on the tablet, you can unplug the cable and still proceed with the unlock routine.
edit: I think the only reason Samsung came up with this routine is that there isn't a physical Home button to press and they want to make sure the combination of buttons won't be pushed "accidentally". They WANT it to be very difficult to unlock.

Have you actually read the instructions? The OEM enable and the bootloader lock are two entirely different things. Until the latest models, Samsung tablets didn't have locked bootloaders unless they were "carrier" models. Now, in addition to enabling OEM in developer mode, you also need to unlock the bootloader prior to using Odin. I'm not going to list the instructions again because they are already posted.

When you turn the tablet on, you will see a warning screen telling you that the tablet is in danger if the bootloader is unlocked.

Question Stuck in bootloop, cannot reach fastboot

Hey, I have tried flashing a GSI ROM but got an error after attempting these two commands :

The "system" partition could not be found and after reading some of your comments I figured I had to reboot into fastbootd and not fastboot. Therefore I rebooted my phone but I am now stuck into a bootloop without being able to reach fastboot whatsoever. Holding down the volume down key does not seem to have any effect.
A few more details:
- adb does not detect my device anymore.
- I was previously on a stock ROM.
- I only managed to flash the vbmeta.img before the bootloop happened.
- Upon holding the volume up button, my phone briefly connects to my PC (for about 2 seconds) then disconnects and restarts again.
What could I do to be able to reach fastboot and flash the stock ROM again?
Thanks for reading
Hold power button + volume down button for 30 second if fails then drain the battery then repeat the process.
My battery is drained and no matter how long I hold the two buttons I can't get out the bootloop unfortunately...
-let the cable connected to pc and press (+ and power) when the splatch screen appears wait 3 secondes and release the power button keeping + button only.
-if not, try with an OTG disk inserted and do the same as above.
-if not, type on pc terminal: adb reboot recovery before connecting your phone.
Good luck.
Hey, thanks a lot for your reply
I have tried all the steps you've described me and I unfortunately can't reach recovery.
It seems as if the phone is reacting to it though as a black screen screen is displayed much longer than usual, although a few seconds later, the MI splash screen appears once again. Also, I can hear the beep from the pc when the phone connects but it keeps disconnecting 1 second later and proceeds to reboot. Seems like recovery is corrupted or something...
The phone does not show up under adb devices throughout the whole process. My pc only recognizes the usb port being connected (when the beeps are triggered) but does not identify the device as an android device.
