Hello S4 Users (E330 / E470 / 9506)
I want to introduce MagmaNX Note 7 ported rom.
This project already started through Note 3 forum but I couldn’t see any s4 users even though all devices (E330 / E470 / 9506) was included to this rom.
Maybe nobody notice this thread, that’s why I open new thread on S4 forum.

sir im using the rom but gugu0das kernel is not updated to 3.4.33 can u link me the lattest flashable kernel because of slow charging issue. quick charge is not happening.ty

Hi Karkass i have problem with last release Magma ROM UN on i9506.Rom lagy and use toomuch RAM.I use last release with gugu0das kernel from 8.1.2017.Do you have the same problem?
This is my installing way:
1.full wipe dalvik,cache,system
2.install ROM with support for i9506
3.install patch for i9506
4.wipe dalvik and cache
5.install gug0das kernel
6.boot ROM
I dont use any more app clean install.

You dont need to install patch if rom booted successfully and Latest gugudas kernel already included to rom. Just choose 9506 kernel during aroma installing. Don't wipe after rom installation, just wipe before rom installation.
And turn on/off flashlight make some lag (this lag will be disappeared when you execute camera)

Karkass- I Install ROM without patch,but give me bootloop on splash screen.After install patch ROM normal boot.
Flashlight ON/OFF reduce lag perfect ROM is smooth.
Only one more question ROM showing me installed kernel 3.4.112-gugu0das Mon Aug 1 it is last one or i need flash new one.

Turn off your Galaxy Tab S2.
Reboot to "Recovery Mode" .
(Press volume up + Home +Power buttons on boot at same time for 8 seconds until recovery mode is active.).
Perform a Full wipe (wipe Data, wipe Cache and wipe Dalvik Cache)
Choose install zip/ choose zip from /storage/extSdCard1 and flash Rom from location on sdcard
Reboot and let sit for 8-10 minutes (very long) to settle in.

Hi,
You don't need root and install recovery.
Just update AOJ4, (because modem is not include in my rom) by Odin, kies or using "Settings".
Once you update flash once more by Odin but with my rom.

Nope, its unusual for a custom rom not to be deodexed.
Maybe should provide a deodex version too?

Great, then we can put xposed! I am specially interested for app settings module (need a little bigger ui in some apps). All other this 8.0 tab is perfect and much more practical for use than 9.7 model

I believe they announced that Marshmellow is coming in the first half of 2016 (as early as Jan or late as April if I recall correctly).

I have downloaded twice unpack and odin said invalid. I have never got problem with odin nor 7zip...
Can you please reupload or something?
Or tell me how to check it same way as you check.

v2.0 doesn't need Odin anymore.

Here comes a ROM that's going to be shutdown/discontinued in a few months. Did you really get permission from Alba95 to put those Note apps in the zip? This ROM probably even has SuperSU Pro apk installed in it. I'm going to try it, while being almost 100% sure you made the ROM without permission.
Edit: Why did you add both 1.5 and 1.9 versions of darkera13's kernel? Is one of them more stable depending on on the phone?

My kernel?! I said darkera13's kernel. And how is it unrelated!? I was talking about your ROM and why you included 2 kernels. I'm just going to pick v1.9 since it has a little bit more battery (when I used it on guguodas' S7E ROM).

The kernel is included in this ROM when you install it and select v1.9.

I'm installed the ROM and testing it. So far, it's smooth and has good battery life. It's so far good.. for now.
I ve got problems with phone calls, many times disconnects while someone answer my call, it's happening on both sides, offcorse I have installed call fix but still happening, any chance for solution?

@tanthuychivietnam thank you so much, i think you did a really good job can't wait to test it, and for the others please stop criticizing him, you sould rather encourage him i don't think that Alba95 or any other developer would mind using just a bunch of apps he ported to give birth to such a great rom for our i9506 as this one, the most important thing is to share what we discover in order to upgrade our devices

The Device in use does not support Samsung Galaxy App.

V8.1 bug sensor?
.yes bug in sensors..turns off sometimes..thats why auto brightness and auto rotate dont work..i see fixed sensors in this latest version..so i want to know how to fix it in v8.1

I do not know why, but the porting in this room that is hard. Even my attempt gave these problems.

Because it's based on a Chinese ROM and as I understood it doesn't include Gapps as default
But I'll dig into it
I just flashed your ROM exactly as the instructions said, and I encountered these problems:
#1: The aroma-installer window was 100% transparent, it was really hard to read the options in the installer as the TWRP-text was overlapping.
#2: As someone previously said, Touchwiz and SystemUI error.
A thought, remove the "Iris" and "Fingerprint" options in the first setup, as they are completely useless right?

About removing iris and fingerprint that's possible to do I think but I feel lazy to give a look

Same problem here, just works on easy mode, even if I already flashed the touchwiz fix you uploaded on october 3.

How to install?
reboot recovery with TWRP
wipe system
wipe data
wipe cache
wipe dalvik
flash rom
flash update (if need)
reboot system wait 3-5 min

This is just a flashable zip of stock 8.1 ROM.
A lot of thanks to @ananjaser1211 for all help and his kernel, and @Dyeide for fixing updater script.
ROM is tested on J530F and J530G, I don't know does it work on other models, test and tell.
Supoorts J730 too, but I didn't test it so if someone can, please do.
Modifications from stock fw are:
- HeliosPro kernel that support OC and tons of other features
- Added two apps that control kernel (OxygenControl is for GPU, and EliteTuner is for everything else)
- Prerooted with latest Magisk 17.1 and added Busybox
- Googles FaceLock is preinstalled because we don't have Samsung one.
- Hevily debloated
From January patch changelog is as follows:
- Kernel updated to latest Helios 2.6 (now with 2A charging)
- Magisk updated to latest Canary version
- Sound mod with Dolby Atmos for headphones and speaker
- Network traffic monitor for statusbar
- Native call recording
- Native screen recorder
- No sound when making screenshot
- An option to disable camera shutter sound
- Samsung Pie emojis
- Update for all Samsung apps (Themes and Galaxy apps are OneUI)
- Fixed little bugs from previous versions.

Hi, can you check if in settings > cloud and accounts > restore and copy and then in backup account is setted a google backup account or it shows the message "no account is storing data with backup at this time".

yes and camera is more good...wish to have stock camera fllashable to install on costum roms...ram is 1 gb free now with this stock at a8 is 560-300mb. :good::good:
and i forget to thank you cause with updates i cant recieve 8.1 and when i try to install via odin say fail and nothing more,thanks man.
