The least-bugs-existing Marshmallow Rom. - Moto X Q&A

Can anyone suggest me a good, reliable marshmallow ROM? I'm currently using OCT OS 6.0 but it has lots of annoying minor bugs. Suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm using Resurrection Remix v5.7.3 (Android version 6.0.1) and it is very stable, fast, and awesome. I'm not sure what isn't working because it does everything I want it to do and I haven't noticed any minor bugs (I'm sure there are a few, but nothing comes to mind). I highly recommend this ROM for anyone who has been having sluggish performance.

Why not the official nightlies? Been running them for a while now and haven't had any glaring issues on my xt1060

remix rom has browser video playback broken, if octos is working in that, then oct os
crCM14.1 + PIE 3.0 + OmniRecents

[Q] Which stable i9305 ROM with monthly release schedule?

I'm looking for a stable ROM for my i9305 which has strong release management: I don't want to run nightlies/weeklies and would would expect releases to be bug free or at least have an itemised list of know issues.
In short, I'm more interested in stability than quick releases of new features. A solid release every month would be ideal.
Sadly, CM11 is out - the dev doesn't seem to want to release the "milestone" or monthlies that our brother the i9300 has.
What ROMs have a track history of bug-free releases? I'm after a longer time between releases, and solid stability.

Have you tried the latest TGP (The Galaxy Project) rom? Very stable and highly customisable i've been using it for months now with no issues.

Unofficial Slimkat does the trick for me. Incredibly stable and tremendous battery life with Boeffla Omni kernel.

I'm a bit wary of unofficals after my previous unoffical ROM developer (Archidroid - rodman01) just put [discontinued] on the xda thread and then walked away!
I settled for LiquidSmooth (which I believe is based on Slimkat) and did a DIY on Boeffla

Thanks, that one looks really good. I like that it's possible to select kernels at install time. Also a great selection of pre-installed apps.
I've since installed LiquidSmooth, but will keep this one firmly in mind!!
If you are looking for another AOSP rom, try C-rom, stable and has a ton of customization
Just wondering, what version of liquidsmooth are you using?

I bumped into C-ROM looking for a ROM wife's i9000. It looked quite impressive, but I found that updating her kennel did the trick, so didn't try it. I prefer AOSP over TouchWiz, I'll keep one in mind, thanks.
I'm on LS KK 3.1 stable, with self-installed Boeffla kernel. I'm loving it.
please Which boeffla for liquid 3.1 for my i9305,thanx

C-rom is awesome! Tons of customization and really stable. Sadly it has not been updated in awhile.
I was running liquid smooth 3.2 nightly(currently on carbon ROM). Btw are you using the CyanogenMod or omni boeffla kernel?

Yes, stable for my daily use. But i change rom every 3rd day even without any problem.
Using crDroid from months I have tried so many other ROMs but nothing like it. It's the smoothest of all till now may be some ROM will become better in future as they get mature but right now crDroid is the one.

Stock also has a major touch delay related bug.
Guys and the best battery rom ? mm only, i tried all the rom but i can t say which is better..
All the Cyanogen based ROMs have similar issues like
1. SIM deactivation doesn't work.
2. Slight lag in touch, which makes typing a bit annoying. Disable 'vibrate on keypress' to make the experience better.
3. Statusbar icons are duplicated in landscape mode.
4. Contacts are duplicated, means you see double entry for every contact
5. Bluetooth not pairing with devices.
6. Issues when SD card is selected as internal storage.
Despite of these issues, I find Cyanogenmod pretty smooth as I have been using it for months. Take a deep breath and think for a while before you go for using any of this ROM as your daily driver as the ROMs are still in development phase.
I'm using TugaPower, a CM13-based ROM which despite having a few of the issues mentioned above, it doesn't give me much trouble at all. I've been using it for like 3 weeks. I tried many MM ROMs but only this one could meet my standards.

Thanks in advance.
Hi !
Before install cm13 by p.a.n i used acip10. It Work perfectly, cam, bluetooth, LTE, wifi, ...

Hi,
as already said p.a.n's CyanogenMod 13 is very stable and he is fixing bugs very fast. But if you want some more features, you can try Bliss, Resurrection Remix or VR-Toxin. VR-Toxin is based on AOSP and it's very stable too.
Because I want to have some more features, I would install Resurrection Remix. I am not a fan of AOSP. ????
Kind regards
Trafalgar Square
I tested many ROM's but P.A.N's CM 13 works like a charm for me. I used it for some time and then downgraded to stock because I don't like 5.1 nor 6.0 versions.

does GPS work on P.A.N.'s CM 13?
Well installed CyanogenMod 13.0-20160225-UNOFFICIAL-i9305 yesterday and it seems to be working a treat.
official CM13 is working fine from nightly 11-03-2016 if you want a MM rom.
Or unofficial CM12.1 build 31 is the most stabe rom if you want a LL based rom

[Q&A] What ROM would you like to see on the R1? Why?

I'd like to see a CM13 port because it's extremely close to stock but has a lot of useful extra features. (Like audioFX.)
EDIT: I realize I should've been more clear. I'm going to attempt to port a ROM when we get the kernel source and I want to know which one you'd like to see and why.
1) cyanogenmod (of course)
2) Resurrection Remix
3) AOKP
1. Cyanide
2. Dirty Unicorns
3. Resurrection Remix

A basic AOSP, no fancy feature, no cyanogen. Just the ROM without any bull****.
That would be perfect to after start modding, and see what we can really do with the phone. Something like Kresus

Thaaat's not really a ROM though. You'd just install CM and not the Gapps.

I'd love to see Aicp ported over. It was my favorite rom to run on my Nexus 5 before it got smashed and I bought my new Blu. I understand that I won't have F2FS and CAF but even without those its still a great rom to run.

Something along those lines though
Just giving ideas and stuff
Definitely CM! What is the process to get BLU to release the kernel source?
1) Resurrection Remix
2) XOKP
3) CM13
4)Paranoid Android
cyanogenmod13
CM13
cm13
.
i would also like to see CyanogenMod 13, or even 12.1.
since also the question was "Why?" - It is my favorite ROM, has regular updates that are easy to perform, gives a close to stock experience, and in my experience with it you seem to get better performance than with stock or even debloated roms on most phones i have used.
Cyanogenmod, Paranoid Android or a great AOKP port!
CandySiX
CM is garbage now. Most other ROMs are too damn buggy.

Which is your favorite ROM for Nexus6 and why?

so many ROMs for N6
Chroma.... It's got the best features to work around and I love it
Stock with xposed, gravity box and elementalx

Chorma & CM 13 OR AICP with multiROM , stability and great battery life
kernel always ELEMENTALx
Question to Fight...
Although it is sadly no longer being developed, Cataclysm Rom does absolutely everything that I need.

Lite stock rom and prerooted. Every month update (security update)
Ressurection Remix . Every feature you can imagin , but
also rock stable and blazing fast .
Read my Signature LOL
My own debloated and rooted stock
Even though it was a hybrid ROM, I really love Temaseks CM13 ROM for 6.0.1. with Singularity.
10 responses - and 9 different ROMs recommended!
I hope that the OP feels that this question has been answered.

I switch ROMs all the time but there are so many great ones. I prefer CMTE theming over layers/substratum and prefer AOSP over CM so my personal favorites atm are Dirty Unicorns, AOSiP, and CandySix.
tipsy, tesla, validus, broken, aosip, candy six, Resurrection Remix, DU, all great ones...
I have used so many roms but my personal fav is Resurrection Remix with elementalX .
I am waiting for MIUI to come on nexus 6 because I really like its colourful UI and awesome battery standby! and btw if you need a different UI you can try FIUI.
Pure Nexus with ElementalX. Stable, excellent battery life, frequent updates and near stock UI with some useful extra features.
