Would be happy to help, could you describe what you've done to update? Have you tried downloading the 8.0.11.0 ROM and installing it using the Updater app?
Best
J
Sent from my MIX using XDA Labs

Updater shows something like couldn't verify update. I downloaded every rom from first link. From 8.0.8.0 to 8.11
I downloaded on my pc. Connected phone via usb ( MTP ) then i copy downloaded zip to the phone. Updater, choose update package, zip and .... cant verify update

I put device on recovery mode. On recovery screen i had webpage http://zhushou.xiaomi.com/ Downloaded app and get update. Now im on 8.0.11.0
PlayStore had Error RH-01
Can someone tell me what is going on here ? What sould i do now ?

Are u using the Chinese Developer ROM?
Each weekly Update will make you stuck in a boot-loop!
If you can't boot into your ROM anymore, flash the full ROM:
Download latest Xiaomi Mi Note Pro Latest Developer Version Fastboot File Download here
Unzip the Downloaded ROM file
Turn off the device. Press the Volume– key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. Then connect the device to the Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable
Download the Download MIUI ROM Flashing Tool from here here and install / extract it
Run the Flashing Tool
Select the extracted ROM folder
Click flash
If You want to do the weekly developer update without bootloop:
Disable Automatic Upgrades if you're on the Chinese Developer ROM
Download the full Chinese Developer ROM from here
Copy it to your device
Open the updater app
Click the menu button.
Select the menu option that says select update ZIP manually
Choose the downloaded full ROM ZIP
It reboots into recovery and automatically flashes the full ROM without producing boot loops
Be patient, it needs a long time, don't interrupt the process!

Guys do you think inbuild custom ROM provided by xiaomi are not good enough, why going for developed ROM version tat does not support OTA directly from Xiaomi.

Requesting help for updating to V9.2.1.0.NDDMIEK on Magisk-ed Oxygen

Hi, I'm currently running MIUI Global 9.0 Stable 9.0.3.0 (NDDMIEI) in my Mi Max 2.
I have followed the guide to install the TWRP 3.1.1 and have rooted via Magisk method and running it.
I have received the OTA update V9.2.1.0.NDDMIEK and is downloaded automatically.
I'm guessing I can't install this OTA downloaded update via TWRP? Do I have to wait for the flashable zip of this update?
Or should I unroot, flash stock recovery and then do the OTA update, and then repeat the TWRP and Magisk again?
Thank you for any help.
I have same problem. Anybody can help ? Thanks !

You can let it update, with no problem at all. After you hit the restart to apply update button, it will direct you to TWRP and you can flash the OTA update using twrp. It will not cause bootloop, or whatsoever. You will just need to hit the restart button after TWRP have flashed the OTA and it will reboot to apply update. However, you will need to flash TWRP again if you didn't change something in the terminal cuz Miui recovery will replace twrp. It's like a code to make TWRP to replace MIUI recovery permanently. ( It has a guide somewhere in this forum to teach you how to use TWRP to replace MIUI recovery permanently) Ok, so if you didn't change the code, you have to flash TWRP everytime you update via OTA. I flash TWRP again and again nearly every week after OTA cuz I'm on developer rom and developer rom nearly updates every week. So the main point is, no worries ya. You can go ahead and flash the OTA as it won't cause bootloop.

Hmm....wait. So you go to TWRP and flash the rom? I mean, you manually reboot into recovery, and then manually flash the OTA? It can't be done like that, for sure will get error. What i meant and what i always did is let the download manager downloaded the OTA package( The download manager is in the "about phone" section), then after done downloading, press reboot and it will automatically direct you to TWRP and it flashes the OTA packages automatically and will be succesful. But if your problem still persists, i have no idea what's going on. Maybe the global rom OTA packages is different from Developer's one.
As for me, the first time my phone downloaded the incremental update which was a few hundred MB in size, when I pressed update, it went to TWRP. But from there nothing happened. It just showed the home screen of the TWRP. After waiting for a few minutes, I simply rebooted using TWRP's menu.
When returned to system, the phone said the update was not successful and mentioned something about downloading full rom. When I woke up, it had completed download the full rom which is 1.43GB.
I haven't updated yet, using MIUI menu, until I want to make sure how to correctly update without problems.
I don't mind reflashing TWRP and and MAGISK again, though. Just wanted to update without getting into some sort of trouble which may prolong the process of getting back to normal working status.
Just made a TWRP backup.
Thanks for any suggestions.

the link you have provided is not a stock miui rom updates. its only the twrp flashable firmware update packages which is very helpful for people using custom roms. custom rom users can update firmware packages without flashing stock MIUI for each MIUI update

no need for custom roms, u only need twrp. so if u prefer twrp flashing but still keeping stock miui firmware, this is a nice option. other than the twrp install routine there is nothing changed in those roms.

FYI this links does not contains any roms. its only the firmware folder extraction. if you are in stock rom then these firmware folder is updated via OTA or recovery flashable updates

Tell me where i cancontact you so I can tell you step by step . Or pm me in XDA. Whichever u like
Go to updater in setting and hit install button. First it will download the update and then update it.
But keep these things in mind.
1.After update is finished your Twrp will be gone if you had permanent twrp before.
2.All app permissions will he reset.
3.And updating through system update takes around 2-3 hrs(,may take more or less)

Installing latest stock firmware fails

Either via Android or TWRP, the latest firmware downloaded from asus site fails to install. Anyone else experiencing this?
Currently on 17.0823.2009.99
Tried 18.0410.2108.158 and 18.0410.2109.172 so far, both failed. Using TWRP, I enable Zip signature verification and they both failed the check.
Edit: So I updated TWRP and zip signature passed. I was able to install the latest update, installed TWRP to other slot, rebooted and installed magisk. But now, when booting, it's stuck on ROG Logo with a loading bar that just keeps loading. Is this bad? Or does it just take a very long time to boot after update?
Also curios about this. I have the Asus Rog Phone 3 Strix Edition on Android 10 Firmware WW_17.0822.2005.11 and trying to update with file UL-ASUS-I003_1-ASUS-18.0.410.2109.172-1.1.5-user.zip but i get Update Failed pretty quick after hitting the OK on update found.
My phone has some freezes that annoy me and this is the reason I would opt for an update also the OTA updates never arrived from what I can recall.
PS: I see on Asus website that they have an unlock tool as well as an APK file, do I need that in anyway ?

My Mi 9 doesn't update from V12.0.5.0.QFAMIXM

Hello dear all, my Xiaomi Mi 9 Global was stopped to the last OTA V12.04.xxx, no new download!
I decide to download the last glolbal recovery version from here(V12.5.xxx) but it doesn't work, so tried the version in the middle V12.0.5.xxx and the update from the recovery tool embedded on the Mi 9 it worked fine.
This is the last versione I sucessufully installed on my smartphone, it doens't receive anything from OTA enad it still doesn't accept the last Global Recovery ver. V12.0.5.0.QFAMIXM....evrytime I receive "Impossible to verify the update....." and "Impossible to install this stable ROM"
Do you know why?!?!
I was stuck with the same weird issue. I finally unlocked the bootloader, and flashed the last official ROM 12.5 with mi flash tool. Now I also installed a custom ROM finally!
I had the same Problem ...
I have solved my Problem with a Fastboot Rom Installation too
There is no "BEST" alternative of Stock ROM. I have tried many custom ROMs but at last I stopped on Stock ROM and its working like Sun and Moon...!!
Can anyone help?
I have the same problem, but a little worse. I can't unlock the bootloader.
In fastboot mode, the phone isn't recognized. I tried with another phones and everything is ok, on a another pc and nothing.
When I try to flash any rom, all official, says it's no possible to flash.
