Mine doesn't see B360. Im EVA-L09B432
EDIT: Found it. Will try on mine.
EDIT2: Not installing. Found a reason. This update B360 is for Beta users, so you have to be on Beta. Without it, you won't be able to install this update.

On EVA-L19C636 and saw this in the app as well. Didn't install it though.
Probably better to wait a couple days for the official update, seeing how Mainland China and the Philippines got it.

I updated this from beta version and it works very well
Edit1: Keyboard doesn't work. You need to download apk and install it via hisuite.

Did it fail at 5%?
Mine did when I tried it.
I'm enrolled in the beta program, but for some strange reason I've until now only gotten the first beta (B322), and not the rest. Quite annoying, especially since it seems that the usual ways of updating, simply doesn't work.

Can you explain how you did that?
I've tried the *#*#2846579#*#* dialer method, and the force update (VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN and POWER), and they both fail at 5%.
Both with the update.app in dload in the internal memory, and on the SD card.

Applying Firmware L09C02B128

Hi Guys,
I need a bit of help with my Huawei P9 Plus, which I purchased here in UK Vodafone.
The original firmware on the phone was VIE-L09C02B127.
However I had applied VIE-C900B103 - from one of the guides in this forum and I forgot to backup my oeminfo and custom files, does this mean that they are the still the original files for VIE-L09C02B127 ?
Also can someone help in getting my phone back to VIE-L09C02B128 please. I have got the firmware L09C02B128 from a German site, can someone here able to check it and confirm if it this the same as the UK one ?
I can upload the firmware if someone can tell me how to ?
Thanks in advanced,
Bashy
I would appreciate it if you could upload it thanks (been waiting for B128 in SA and it just doesnt arrive due to our useless carriers), think you can put it in Google drive, Dropbox, Mega etc and then just share the link, thats probably the easiest.
In terms of flashing you need to unroot (via SuperSU) then install stock recovery (if you have twrp installed), then see http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9-...ei-p9-plus-vie-l09-update-app-t3384951/page11 for installing.
Applying firmware L09C09B128
Hi Jostian,
Here is the link https://mega.nz/#!8UsBhQAL!QT67L7uCsjbj0vNXT0vSLbksZRx9znv8aVlje2IvT_o
Also in regard to applying this firmware onto my phone I am not rooted nor I have trwp installed.
So do I just copy the .app file onto my memory card and put it in the dload folder ?
Thanks in advanced.

Hi Jostian,
I am not root and nor I have twrp installed. However I did the below and my firmware is still showing VIE-L09C900B103;
1) Copied the update file on to my memory card and put in in the dload folder.
2) Restarted the phone, whilst holding down the volume up and down.
3) The phone installed the file from the memory card.
Can you please confirmed how you did it mate step by step.

Hi Bashy, cos you are unrooted your phone will only show new 128 if you install full 128 ROM, dont think you can install update (b128) over b103 and get update to B128 in build number.
Did you try the *#*#2846579#*#* this opens menu options- press "SDCard Upgrade" then "Ok" method (give it a try), I unzipped yr file (6 or 7 files inside) copied these all to the 'dload' folder I created on the ext SD Card, then used the *#*# ..... method to update, the update like yours was successful (completed and I see a bunch of new apps etc.) but I still see B127 in settings/about phone/build number... so not sure why build no. remains B127???
I think the best would be to somehow find the full B128 ROM and flash it or for the B128 update to be put into a flashable (twrp) zip, but because the P9Plus is so new these options not available yet, they will come but it will take a bit of time.
Hi Guys,
the ota update failed on my phone. SO it didn't install any apps just changed the version info so basically It says b128 and cant find any new updates..
I downloaded the b128 voda update from a german site.
How do I install it?
putting the ZIP file into the DL folder and copy the updater.app from it to the DL folder
or
Do I need to extract the contents of the ZIP as well?
Thank you!
Best,

you need to extract the files from the zip, should be 2 files (Update.app and Meta-info) you put those 2 in the dload folder and then use the *#*#.... (project menu to install), remember you must be on stock recovery and phone must not be rooted.

Think you need to do it the long way, don't think the flash will succeed if you just try flash over different variant code

Hi mate,
So for the delay in responding back.
My phone was did not have the bootloader unlocked and nor it was rooted.
However I did try to root it to change the 2 files over. But I can't confirm 100% worked.
Only way I would know this these 2 files were correctly updated is to check. I am not sure how too, but if someone can show then this would be great.

L09C432B360 to B361

Hi Guys ,
Quick question for anyone in UK who is trying to go from B360 to B361 for C432 .
I have downloaded the update and done it a couple of times using the dload method and the dialer method . The update completes sucessfully but the version number still remains as B360.
I have also tried the Custom URL method with the Huawei Updater that one fails explicitly with error 'Failed to update'
Has anyone done a B360 to B361 upgrade sucessfully ? Any ideas of how to get around this problem ?
Try flashing the hw-eu zip file:
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/...3574/f1/full/hw/eu/update_data_full_hw_eu.zip
And if that doesn't work using dload (dialer *#*#2846579#*#*) use this:
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G753/g104/v73574/f1/full/update.zip
Did it from 360, unpacked update.zip to sdcard/dload and entered the code in the dialer (important, didn't work otherwise), rebooted and dloaded the unpacked eu.zip and it worked!
Both links are not working for me, "Error The page is temporarily not exsit for 404-error.
Please confirm it and return last position."

b182 update to b378 fail, you ned first install b361 or b360
b182 > b361 and now update to b378
b378 in not a full firmware, you need based to N for update.

After 5 days i finally managed to fix the phone...
I contacted Huawei, they checked by ID and IMEI what is latest firmware (B126).
I also found new link with newer firmwares, where i downloaded B126 and flashed update.APP by DC-Phonenix, it didn't work at first but then i extracted .APP to .IMG files, flashed that way rebooted and it booted up. In settings i still have firmware showing as B110 for some reason, but everything works so i'm happy.

I believe i fixed it now for good. Flashed B126 with DC-Phoenix, update.app and another update app for eu/hw, then with HiSuite it updated/downgraded? on B110, did a factory reset. It's like new now.

with this https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410932744536983618
Download it and unpack the Firmware with Winrar or 7zip.
Copy the unpacked folder names "dload" in the root of your micro sd.
You need to have the Stock Recovery installed if you have Twrp installed here to Download
You can start update from dialer *#*#2846579#*#* and ProjectMenu -> Software Upgrade -> SDCard Upgrade
After reboot the Phone make a Factory Reset if you root before install this Firmware.

Can get to 125, but can't get to 132. May I know the steps to reach 132?

The firmware is already posted here, but I can't flash it. Apparently it needs another method than the dload method.
Hi guys,
I would like to say that I was able to extract the .rar but only on Windows.
Whatever I tried on Linux (main system here) failed...
I will now try to see if I can do something with those files to restore the device in the exact same state it was when it came out of the box...
Regards.
Nah, the downgrade works. To 125, But no way to go to 132.

It doesn't matter.. 125 is better anyway..
Since updated I have no proper notifications phone acts weird.. When I took it out of the box it was ok normal..
And yet pie 9 is coming so.. Don't bother if u don't have 132...

There are somethings in 132 which I like, but not much choice. If 9 doesn't allow me to use my own launcher, then I'm not upgrading to it.
