I can not record the calls, the app crashes and no network for two second appears.
I set the external memory as the main memory, but I run a clean install.
The double-tap feature is not present in the interface and is disabled in emui file for.

If I try to record a phone call, at the end of the same, at the top left, appears no network for two seconds. I do not think losing the phone network....
I do not find the problems encountered on the B336 Stock on Twitter and Whatsapp: applications were closing and restart automatically when I wrote something.
To be a RC1 is already very good.

What is so complicated about install this ROM?
Simply install zip from TWRP and after that install from Google Play superuser app...
And that it...
About the ROM after 2 days of use i think is very good for daily use.
A problem is about short loosing network in two situation (in my case):
- after restart of phone
- after use of call recorder: call (incoming/out) is split in two parts, first about 2-3 seconds and second rest of call - appear in calls log)
On status bar i observe loosing network/no service, but call is not interrupted and in calls log appear two entry's for one call...
It's a little annoying but i can live with that...

- Possible due the "B336" but after restart it's normal signal lost due the MODEM it's inactive
- Call Recorder it's unstable but work... only the problem above... because it's a port... sorry

Hi, I build a ROM few days ago for this device based on official stock.
Main features:

Some considerations:
- To install the ROM, you must have unlocked bootloader and changed the original Recovery (recommended below).

- Desktop icons shaded correspond to applications that are not included in this ROM, you can delete the icons or download applications directly pressing them, if interested.
- The app System Update is not removed, but is not operational with rooted/unlocked bootloader. It is useful to restart directly to Recovery.
- The security application detects Adaway tool as virus. You can ignore the warning or delete. It was downloaded directly from the official version, it's supposed to be safe.
- There are several versions of Recovery out there, which is indicated below which has been tested and has given no problems recommended. It is in Chinese / English, to start the Recovery the first time select the option to change it to English.

Please, first of all make a FULL Recovery backup before install.

Cool, thanks, just installed this rom, pretty neat. Not been able to activate the google assistant, not your ROM fault, but tried multiple forums and still no go.
Edit : Figured out a way to activate the assistant, need to enable the onscreen navigation and then select the home button.
The camera is laggy and is taking time to launch and the onscreen filters in the app doesnt work as well.
Have been using for 2 days now. Most usable ZUI so far IMO. Definitely a daily driver for me.
I experienced no camera problems, unlike @anupsnair .

Edit : The camera started working after clearing the cache. Now for some reason VOLTE / HD calls arent possible, I reverted to the old backup and it seems fine there.
@recoba23, how do u go about changing the volume of the headset and speaker, is it a build.prop edit or any other steps ?

Camera system and VOLTE calls options have not been modified, so they should work like the original firmware.
There are many explains and mods for change volumes, if you want to learn I recommend you take a look.

I install this TWRP and the ROM (2.1).
Ower the restart i see the ZUK-Start-Screen and over free Minutes the phone shut of.
Can someone please provide an alternative download link? I am constantly getting 'connection lost' and there is no possibility to resume download, so I have to start from scratch.

Hello, will there be a "[ROM] Gedeon" on the ZUI_2.5.335_ST?
Does it worth do a downgrade for 2.5 for this ROM? I don't know why I'm having problems with quick charger in the 2.5. (is it possible that a dirty flash by OTA made this?). I'm only concerned about the camera on this ROM.

What works?
All the basic functions (Wifi, RIL, data connection, Bluetooth, camera, Flashlight, sound, and more)
What does not work properly?
-Mobile network signal doesn't displays correctly sometimes (displaying as No SIM card), but still working anyway for calls, text and mobile data. FIX: Reboot device and press power button twice.
-Navbar does not hide
-External sdcard write/acess issue on some devices - FIX: Go to settings > installed apps > enabled documents app or watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrWoICi-6wI
-Documents app needs to be enabled again after a reboot - FIX: Turn Off MIUI Optimization in Developers Options
-Custom APNS created by user doesn't saves

Surprise, surprise ! Got 5+ Hrs SOT with 20% battery still left.
All I remember doing is, turning "Developer Options" -> "MIUI optimizations" to OFF, reboot mobile, then turning optimizations ON again followed by reboot. Not sure if this helped, but that's the only thing I remember. Will try to repeat those figures again.

To me no FCs or any issues after using ROM for more than 3 weeks. What stability issues you are referring to? And @abhijeetc9762, I do not see any copy paste issues with chrome browser. Icing on cake is, battery consumption. I always get 4-5 hours SOT. Pretty happy with ROM.

Yeah, it's a good ROM but there is FC sometimes when I copy and paste, there is not app mail , the lastest osprey build its compiled with uberc and supports VoLTE ,it's a little more stable , fixes the nav bar bug and some more little things that can be good add for our device build

First Ever Android 8.1 for Nexus 5 [Every Month Update]
This is my new project dedicated to all Nexus 5 users!
The goal is to reproduce the Google Pixel 2 system.
It is based on unofficial Unlegacy Android Project 8.1 Beta.
This UBR contains some useful tools that can be easily uninstalled.
What does UBR stand for?
The letters UBR stand for Update By Recovery - a very non conventional way of flashing.
This backup does not contain the EFS partition which holds your personal IMEI number,
that's why you can use it on any Nexus 5 phone!
Why you should install this ROM?
+ Really easy flash by swiping only one button in TWRP!
+ Quick Installation (it usually takes 3 minutes)
+ It works instantly after reboot
+ If the phone is not damaged it will always work
+ It looks like Google Pixel 2 from the box (in 99%)
+ It has extra functions that can be uninstalled (Magisk etc)
– It has a 4 times larger installation file than standard flashable ROM
– Other applications from your Google account will need to be installed manually
Why is it so BIG?
This UBR contains: ROM (298 MB) + OpenGApps Nano (141 MB) + Other Modules/Mods+ Other Google apps.
After installation you can remove all unwanted apps including Magisk (Unroot).
What works:
Almost everything.
What doesn't work:
Trusted face (from Smart Lock)
Fast (Quick) Charging
WakeBlock (wait for the update)
Things to improve:
Xposed Framework (with Pixel NavBar module) breaks the SafetyNet.
If you want to use apps that require the SafetyNet be passed, uninstall Xposed (the navigation bar will return to the AOSP version).

All you need is Google Nexus 5 16/32GB smartphone with TWRP 3.2.1-1 (Team Win Recovery Project) installed.

How do you want to update partitions from ext4 to f2fs by using flashable ZIP?
My UBR (Update By Recovery) is the best solution for beginners, because most people do not read the instructions.
Example (last comment on my website): WiFi doesn't work - please help/fix it!
This is not a bug, you have not updated the TWRP Recovery to version 3.2.1-1 = you have not read the instructions!
You can have the pixel navbar w/o xposed: https://chromloop.com/2016/11/guide-how-to-port-pixel-navigation-bar-animation-to-your-phone/. I'm not sure if it will work with oreo since the guide is for 7.1.2.

Thanks, I will try it, but now I am using Xposed module for Pixel Navbar, unfortunately it breaks the SafetyNet.

I don't think XDA or most of the forums have an option to delete any post or thread they can only close it. Any reason for deleting the thread? But cause of that you shouldn't stop posting it here.
Issues I have been facing after using it for a week:
1. Poor Bluetooth call quality
2. Random apps crashing (Google Maps/Twitter/Kindle)
3. Random slowness & lags
4. Volume/sound is very low

I've just recovered an old nexus 5 that was in bootloop and installed this rom, and I've never seen this phone working with such a charm, the only downside is the battery, I don't know if disabling automatic brightness is making a big difference, but I see a little gain in it.
Only question I have is how do you update to the newest version? I have the January version and wanted to update to the February without erasing any of my data of course.

Ps: I have to admit it does crash some apps sometimes, but nothing to worry.

How's the in-call volume? Last time I tried an oreo rom in-call volume was non-adjustable and very quiet. In Most of N5 oreo rom volume is super quiet.
It should be fine by default, not ask us to fix it ourselves.
What about Substratum support?
Is NFC working? May quick charge be achieved with flashing DU kernel?

Flashing Tutorial:
1. Unlock the bootloader and install latest version of TWRP.
2. Boot into TWRP and perform a Factory Reset(Wipe Data, Cache, and Dalvik).

Very nice work.. I installed it yesterday.. It had too many performance bugs for me. Sometimes the phone freezes 2 seconds.. Flyme system design is very nice. Just wish you could make status bar icons use logo of the actual apps. Also.. Google play games keep crashing when trying to play games.. Sms app stops working when trying to go to settings from sms.. Etc.

Hi.. I mean icons of app.. Like chrome notification you see the chrome logo.. Outlook notification you see the blue icon of outlook. Instead all the logos in status bar are generic. Can't know if I got email or sms.. Icons are the same. By the way.. I was using micro gapps.
Works good! Is there any way to disable on screen navigation bar? Bluetooth keeps saying has stopped working when turning it on. Any idea about this?

Magisk 15.3 works fine for me.
Hey normal call is also not working on my secondary airtel sim..after installing jio4g voice jio call is working but airtel is not..

Try removing sim tray, then report me.
No it's still not working.. I eject sim n again enter..n also change gapps to stock..but still call on second sim not showing..n caller tune is ringing on dialling..but on phone it's neither showing nor ringing.. I think this is problem of call reception..
Found a Video flyme 6 for Samsung s7. Looks really smooth and fast. Want Test it on Out Mi max 2 but one Question: is it multilanguage? Found only flyme 6 with Chinese language.

I don't have such issue. Are you using Google dialer or stock one? If using the 1st one, please use the included one with the ROM. Can you send a log, also?

Me, a few moments ago, failed to connect. Yesterday it worked with other ROM. I've tried with/without usb debug, data transfer, open the app in the phone and then trying to connect. Android auto doesn't launch by itself when connected to the car, and if you do it manually, fail to connect. All permissions allowed.
Don't know how to save a log, but if it's necessary I can try.

The rom feels very smooth, only a few hours of use, no mayor bugs, except android auto and nfc toggle doesn't work. I'll try google pay later.
It's very soon to know but in 7 hours of sleep last night, only 1% of battery used, idle drain seems to be very good. We will see with several full charges.
Latest magisk 21.0 working here, no need to flash magisk debug.
Latest TWRP can't decrypt data, didn't ask for pattern. I forgot to flash zip to no decrypt data.

I have experienced chrome freezes too. Almost all chrome launches ends up freezing after minute or two
