Sometimes reacting slowly to the left and right while dragging on the desktop. 1000 Times Full wipe and Stock rom install but not fix.
It's just touchwiz. Another launcher not problem . I use touchwiz but its problem . PLEASE HOW TO FIX IT ?

Didn't seem delayed to me it looks like you're just causing it to do that by swiping to much on the home screen options and then when it closes out you get that delayed response from what you were just doing.. If it's such a major deal then save whatever you need to and factory reset the phone.

Try to use the latest firmware update or use a launcher from the play store.
Use nova launcher.

no i'm not, i tried to instal launcher but its still same.
but my tabs now can be lock again....
well my tabs is have guarantee from samsung so, I go to samsung servis center. and wait for 2 days, n back to normal, i ask them why my tabs can't be lock but there's no answer
so until now i dont know why my tabs can't be lock...

Mine has no lockscreen either.
I just bought it brandnew and did not have time to even tweak around. Where is the reset function?

Thanks. It is time I flashed new Rom.
When I got mine I had the same problem, no way to configure lock screen, after many many tries it works, no reason to work, no reason to not work, I think should be a bug.

Ok I found the solution.
You have to click location / security header at the top of the screen after you've selected continue once you enter password or pattern.

mine is fine. try swiping down more toward the top of Google Now
Edit: try swiping down quickly. I ran into the same problem as you if I swipe down slowly

Your apps are being killed in the background so it has to reload them.... Are you using clear all option? Because if so. Stop

You clear app? They need to reload. Simple
try another launcher and see if that presists that's if the delay you mean is in pressing
if otherwise and the delay happens because they are killed in the ram then I suggest you get a ram cleaner app to increase the free ram for multitasking or if you are rooted get greenify.
When i boot my phone and swipe up to go to the home screen after entering the pin number to unlock the sim card it takes 10-15 seconds before i even see anything on the homescreen. At the moment running stock android, rooted with supersu 2.82.
After the home screen is visible all works fine, no delays when going back to it.
It also happens with other roms, so not a stock only problem. It started about a 2-3 weeks ago. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
Disable lock to see if that changes it.

Disabled lock but result the same. Clearing cache does not help either.
Strange is that it does not happen every time i reboot the phone and when it happens the time it takes to show the home screen is sometimes longer or shorter.

Are you using nova beta? If so, go to the Nova beta G+ community to see if there's a similar problem or post a bug report. If not, in the "about community" section of that link, there a link to sign up for beta through Google play.

At the moment both stock and nova launcher home screens start almost straight after i swiped up after entering the pin code.
But both occasionally have showed delays of up to 10-15 seconds. I have no clue why this is happening and what the reason is.

Since this is happening on stock as well, I'd guess there is background activity "bogging" the CPU down. Maybe due to apps dozing then all clamoring for updates as the device wakes.
Grabbing a logcat through adb might give some insight. If you can get one when having the problem then contrast against one when the display responds promptly.

Thanks for the logcat reminder. Should have thought of that myself. Now all is working without any delay. But will pull a logcat when it happens again and try to find the cause of the problem.

Just a reminder, you'll have to pull a logcat every time you unlock until you catch the problem. It's to late after the problem occurs ?

Hmmm..maybe is should just stop rebooting my phone Or try being a bit more patient and just wait till the home screen thinks its been long enough and shows itself
After the update, those 2 useless bars appeared I've tried to find every setting to turn them off but I can't find any (I already looked in the Edge Screen and all those advanced function settings) nothing helps

P/s: its function is Back, but I don't need 2 extra Back! My nav works fine!
(Solved) it turns out that the One Hand Operation+ app causes this, I uninstalled it and they are gone

Thanks but I dont wanna lose all my apps and game progress moreover they only appeared after the update, I'm not sure factory reset can help do you have the same problem to your phone?

I dont have the issue, i haven't factor reset too. Few people have it and it was solved by reset. It is highly advisable to factory reset. Those lines are actually a navigation gesture. If you swipe download from the line, it acts as back button and swipe straight horizontally to go to home. Swipe upwards for recent apps.
Make backup using smart switch and use google to sync game progress.
