i have not the pro variant and i can't test it. I don't want to cause a problem for someone.

On first boot into fresh install of recovery, some of the text labels are blank, and also the log is displaying squares instead of normal characters. Message is 'a render request has failed'. Please see pics.

Thank you!
I tested on E6653 and only got attached image.
I was trying to build CWM for Z5 before, but there were a lot of errors and I gave up.
Maybe CWM source is not compatible with arm64.

Thank you for testing. At this point, i think yes. Its my second build of cwm for 64-bit devices... But later i will try to fix (Also for M4)
Once this reaches a stage where it doesn't temporary wreck a phone I am more then happy to test

Anyway, thanks a lot for OP @alby_var for your contributions for Xperia Z5 community.

[RECOVERY][RC] TWRP for the Honor 6

Hi all!
I am working on getting official TWRP support for the Honor 6 (aka 'Mogolia') as I have for the other Huawei / Honor devices.
After creating a basic build tree and doing my own testing, I will be submitting the files for official TWRP support shortly, but in the mean time you can check out the build below. Flash using 'fastboot flash recovery' and, of course, use at your own risk.
Enjoy!
DOWNLOAD - twrp-3.0.2-0-mogolia-modaco-rc3.img (modified source for /data/share fix)- MD5: 8873cc7e52c2a4a8b3c417ede297a5f2

I can't download your TWRP from server.
Not Found
The requested URL /files/twrp-3.0.2-0-next-mogolia-rc1.img was not found on this server.
Is possible with this new TWRP make a backup of efs partition?
I hope so...
I go try this in this week-end.
Thanks.
Fixed Download: twrp-3.0.2-0-mogolia-modaco-rc1.img
Fixed the original link now, sorry about that!
P
Finally i can download the TWRP with sucess.
Your TWRP make bakup of efs partition?
Thanks.
I configured the UI and all worked well. A second start of TWRP resulted in no touch . Config file attached.
Updated test release posted with manual code change to compensate for internal SD card being /data/share rather than /data/media on this device.
P
Impossible to use RC3 as the touch screen doesn't work.

Solution: Delete the old file .twrps from internal memory.
The path to the file:
/storage/emulated/0/TWRP/.twrps

I followed everything correctly, but I have no idea how to get into recovery mode.
Unlocked Bootloader, Enable OEM unlock, Enable USB debugging, flash TWRP and after that I have no idea how to get into recovery. Should I flash a mobile to stock?
Which EMUI version is installed?
Do you used the correct TWRP for your version (Nougat or Oreo)?
Did you flash it manually? If not try it with command:
"fastboot flash recovery PATH/TO/TWRP.IMG" for Nougat
"fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk PATH/TO/TWRP.IMG" for Oreo.
When starting TWRP the USB cable needs to be disconnected!
