Xposed on Huawei Y635 - Xposed General

Xposed says it might crash my Y635, has anyone else out there tried it and worked?

What os is installed on it? For the original ROM I don't know if it is available, but, you can install cm 12.1/13/14.1 (in 13 and 14.1 camera doesn't work) and you can install Xposed in safety.
PS I think this is the wrong section to post this question

For Pixel 2/XL installation of the beta build and other devices with A and B partitions : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75129747&postcount=4
In other words:
1. Close the XposedInstaller app
2. Download the zip
3. Copy it to /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/cache/downloads/framework
AKA
/sdcard/Android/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/cache/downloads/framework
4. Open the XposedInstaller app
5. If the zip is not showing as available to install, click the 3 dot menu
6. Check the "Show outdated versions" check box
7. The zip should show up in the app now, and should be installable through the app

TWRP installation doesn't work.
For anyone having issues installing on phones with A/B partitions, please refer to this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75132675&postcount=9
I could not get it to install via TWRP, and the download from within the xposed installer is not working currently.

Is anyone having issues installing modules from the Xposed app? I get a force close everytime I attempt to.

Would be expected since Xposed Oreo isn't targeted towards beta software (especially Sammy software). I'd wait until official Samsung support for Oreo some time after Xposed is out of beta and Sammy has released Official Oreo.

rovo89is already working on a fix. He has all the information he needs.
https://github.com/rovo89/XposedBridge/issues/226
Xposed SDK26 systemless on OP5 running OOS 5.0.1 (Oreo 8.0), Magisk 15.2 and material xposed installer (with the official installer the framework wasn't active).
Boot didn't take much longer than usual, no lagging or whatsoever.
Working like a charm and also using greenify and exi without issues. Quite a stable beta so far. No further modules tested.
Xposed FTW!
SDK 26 OP3 Open Beta 29 working good until now...
Next: trying modules
YouTube Background Playback working...
It works on OnePlus 3t on Validus 8.1 rom, though when I tried uninstalling xposed (through the app and TWRP) I got stuck in bootloop. I don't know if it's the rom or framework problem. I'll check what happens on Oxygen OS later
Working in Redmi Note 4 mido (Cardinal AOSP 8.1), confirmed
Installed the Xposed SDK27 Magisk module, but the Xposed Installer is showing that framework isn't installed.

Nevermind, saw a Magisk specific installer here https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268. Installed that and it detects the framework now.
Update: Had to use this installer (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75139549&postcount=2516) to download modules. The one I previously mentioned was crashing when you would click a module to download.

They look exactly the same. I was under the impression that rovo89 just made DVD's the official one...? What's the difference between the two? There are no visual differences that I can see.
Works on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x (mido) (SnapDragon) with Pixel Experencie (SDK 27)

Greenify disabled doze for me (yes even with aggressive doze) so I would recommend for you to wait a little bit longer till the modules were updated

Yes! I have tried beta versions too!
@david pro, if you're running stock ROM it can take a really long time to boot after installing Xposed. Sometimes up to ten minutes. One might think it's in a loop but just wait it out.
Plus you really need to include more information. Exactly which Xposed package are you trying. System or systemless, Flashed manually or tried to install via the app. Magisk or SuperSU. Which ROM. Makes it easier for folks to help if you provide everything up front. Reduces back and forth Q&A or guessing.

For custom ROMs it's easy peasy. I use and recommend the UNITY package. Handles system or systemless. Has worked without issue on all ROMs I run. See link below. If by chance you do have problems with it just flash the installer again as it also acts as an uninstaller. Or remove it via Magisk Manager (I don't use Magisk so...).
Xposed on stock Oreo, though, may be a no go. Moto users in the Xposed Oreo thread seem to be having no luck it seems.
