Huawei Update.APP extractor & IMG Cracker
Revolution Technologies (C) 2017

This tool is for recreational use and developers.
If you do not know how to use it do not touch it, if you do not know what this tool is about it is why it is not thrown at you.
Characteristics:
Compatible with any UPDATE.APP of any device
Unpack update.app
Crack the signing of Huawei * .img files
Extract cracked * .img
Coming soon:
Recompile the .img files in an Update.APP
Choose the directory where you want to extract the * .img files
Automatic App Updates
Extract the kernel and recovery (their corresponding RAMDISK included)
Delete the files not extracted so as not to give rise to confusion
Option to keep cracked .img files
Current Failures:
Once we have extracted an Update.APP and want to extract another, we delete the UPDATE folder created with its files, so before starting a new extraction we have to rename the previously created UPDATE folder

Developers - repack your APK files to Windows EXEs [Beta 1]

Hot on the heels of my installAPK utility to let you install APKs from your Windows desktop, I now have another neat trick... which allows developers to distribute APKs as Windows EXE files instead.
What do I need?
NSIS install system - http://nsis.sourceforge.net
APK2EXE (my suite) - http://shortun.com/3q
Your APK
What does the end user need?
The end user needs their device attached to their PC, with the appropriate drivers installed (which they can grab from http://android.modaco.com/usbdrivers).
How do I use it?
Follow these steps to create your executable!
Extract APK2EXE to a new directory
Add your APK to the directory
Doubleclick APK2EXE.NSI and edit the 3 lines containing information about your application.

Test your installer!
Done!

ive created a tool which consists of scripts and binarys called SIDK alias System-Image-Development-Kit!
It allows you to unpack system.img for hammerhead and mako with one command called: "./unpack-mako.sh" which will automatically detect if the corresponding system.img is present in the device specific directory. It will unpack system.img to system directory and let you repack with just one command called: "./repack-mako.sh" and put the new compiled img in the output directory, now my q is: should i release it for mako and hammerhead or even more devices? would it be useful?

Since you're here in the General forum you might need to explain what the purpose of this tool is for non-developers, or give some more details. It's possible that there would be interest in it but I don't think anyone knows what the use cases are from your description. :good:
You may start with mako and hammerhead and when it is stable enough release it for all nexus devices and then to sony/samsung/htc devices.
It's a matter of time, but first... NEXUS

[New discovery!] Nougat OTA update

i was using Firmware finder to upgrade Nougat manually, but it wasn't successfully (error: incompatibility with current version).
I just thinking maybe that file doesn't compatible with my phone, but today i figured out something new.
That's a OTA update.
My phone is GR5 mini, NMO - L31C636B351 and huaweii released official nougat via OTA.
I captured log with ADB, and just figured out, there are 2 FILES Rom actually.

And there are 2 files....
link: http://update8.hicloud.com/TDS/data...cseas/update_data_full_NMO-L31_hw_spcseas.zip
http://update8.hicloud.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1581/g104/v80539/f1/full/update.zip
I tried to install every single one of them (unzip, copy update.app to dload folder...)
BUT both of them come failed (error: incompatibility with current version).
The OTA update files will save in "HwOUC" folder of internal storage, actually: Internal Storage\HwOUC\80539\
So, i think we can copy both of them to same folder and checking OTA?
The question is, how do we install 2 of them manually?
Anyone have good idea or something? Pls share to me
Thank you,
p.s: my english is not good, sorry about that.
we all know that MF-PV updates has 2 files and MF only has 1 file.... MF-PV = other file is emui 5 and other is android update.

You need to use oppo_decrypt to extract boot.img and other files from RMX2027....ofp file.

How you unlocked bootloader? I have rmx2021 and when I installing it says that app not installed. Maybe I need to install it from adb? I will try when arrive home.
Share the app to unlock bootloader please, maybe I have incorrect app
