I used to use the "Heads Off" app to disable heads up notifications and bring back the old notification ticker text. It no longer works on Marshmallow. Has anyone had any luck finding something brings back the notification ticker text in Marshmallow?

I think Gravitybox has an option for doing this, but I'm not sure. I haven't used it in a while, and I never was a ticker guy anyway.

Has anyone been able to remove the 'Calls will be made over Wi-Fi' from their Notification panel? I've been able to mod most of the panel, but can't get that to go away.

Cancel this, I used Wanam XPosed to change the opacity of my notification panel and everything is good to go!

If you go into the app info, you can uncheck the box for notifications & it'll no longer show in the notification shade.
Big Thanks! I found it as 'WFCService'. Unchecked and it is gone. Now to finish customizing this panel.
Does anyone know how to enable heads up notification on Z3C lollipop? I thought this was suppose to be the default in lollipop. I do see it for certain things like calls, text messages, and whatsapp (i think that's built in with the app). However other notifications like twitter, tapatalk, etc, I get the notification ticker on the status bar. I thought the ticker style notifications were removed in lollipop. I am rooted and have Xposed installed however I don't believe I have any modules that re-enable the ticker. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
when a notification heads up comes if we swipe it.. it clears the notification from the panel
is there any module that dont remove the notification by swiping / sliding heads up

In android 7 i can disable the heads-up notifications from all the apps. In android 8 only in some i can do this. I dont want heads-up from WhatsApp in my screen when i´m doing another stuff. Exist any solution to this? I only want the icon in the status bar when a notification arrives like in android 7.

Few days ago I still had lovely notification which I thought they are because of android 8. I upgraded from note 4 to note 9. I personally don't think there is an option to turn off Heads Up or now called "Peeking" notifications. However, there are a few third-party apps that can help you disable the heads up notification but you have to disable each app manually. AFAIK heads-up notification is the quickest way to reply and makes life easy and reduces the RAM usage and background activity which on whole will reduce your battery usage.
