To have App twins and Private space just edit this file with a root explorer :
fw.max_users=1 to 2
fw.show_multiuserui=0 to 1
ro.config.hw_support_clone_app=false to true
These file are in system/emui/lite/prop/local.prop.

Can I unroot phone afterwards and save app twin and private space?

Hey.
Apptwin just supports WeChat and QQ only?
How can I get it support other apps like FB, Viber?
Miui8 is supporting well

How to addmore apps in app twin?????

How can I add more apps in app twin list, i make clone via ADB command, but this apps not show in app twins list

i had set a private space PIN and finger print. and i was using only my finger print to open private space.
now i forgot private space password and as my device restarted its forcing me to enter PIN and not accepting my fingerprint.
is there any way to use rooting and disable this feature of "Require PIN on restart" feature?

I want apps installed on private space to start working at boot when i enter in main space. Is it possible without switching to private space, its app starts working in background on startup?

App twin works but private space doesn't. VNS-L31

[Q] How to hide the navigation bar?

Has anyone figured out a way to hide the navigation bar on P9 (EVA-L09) like it's done on P7 or P8?
I am looking for a solution as well. Don't know why they don't introduce "hide navigation bar" for oversea's version
You're looking for the xposed Module "hideable nav bar".

There is no settings as such to hide. If you have rooted device, using "root file explorer" go to /system/build.prop, open with text editor and add a line, qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 and restart your device. This will hide navigation permenantly. To bring it back delete this line from build.prop or put "0" value for this line. You may have alternative navigation like gesture navigation (xposed module) or something similar to this.. Hope this helps.

Is there really no way to reveal the hide/unhide button like for the Mate S?:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-s/general/hide-navigation-bar-t3314290
Or even better the option without root for the P6:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2453926
I am so used to be able to hide and unhide the navigation at will on my P6, that I am not sure I can handle not having that on the P9
Thank you!

Thanks. Very useful.
Can you hide the navigation bar on the Chinese models of the P9? If that is the case, maybe someone can send us a backup settings file with that option enabled? Or maybe someone can check what line governs the hide/unhide feature in the build.prop.
Thanks!!

But there must be a setting for it in the Chinese P9 which have the option to hide the navigation bar. Does anyone have a rooted Chinese P9 and can take a look at their build.prop to find out how the "hide/unhide the naviation bar" function is realized there?
Pretty please!
Thank you!!!

I suggest you to not mess with root because it voids your warranty and can break your phones software.
Try this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmd.immersive

I'm sorry but i can't find the app that you are talking about. It might need root permission though.
me also i didn't find,u can try to screenshot the application in play store and share it here the screenshot
Hey! I have the same problem on my huawei honor 8. The app isn't in the play store or says it's uncompatible.
And don't worry, you don't need root for it.
Google navbar apps and an apk mirror site should pop up, where you can download an apk of navbar apps(xda doesn't allow me to put links sorry)
It works totally fine, i have no idea why it's not "compatible"

What are you using root for?

Now that root on X4 is pretty solid it would be nice to see what different people use it for.
Themes? Apps that need root? Magisk modules?
Let's share some tips and tricks!
I have not rooted yet but want to know if there is some interesting customised tips for motox4
For me it was actually needed to remove operator bloatware.
But I found here the (almost) clean EU retail ROM where only Linked-in and Outlook apps are added, so it's perfectly OK for me.
So... no need for root
I reverted back to fully stock but I mainly used it for AdBlock.
i use root for adblock. if i could find a way to write a hosts without rooting id be happy
You guys using ADblock, wouldn't it be the same to use a browser with this feature built-in?
Well, that works if you don't want to block ad banners inside apps.

It's not the same as editing the host file. Many ads still get through.
Another important reason why I need root. Titanium backup.

2nd This!
Rooted for.
* No wireless display support (edit built.prop)
* Adblocking( Edit host)
* Audiomods(Viper)
* Xposed modules.
@anas214812, now that's interesting stuff! A couple of questions:
1) is that wireless display mod you refer to able to show the phone content on the TV?
2) about Xposed, do you know if GravityBox works? I'd be interested in a way to set the statusbar clock centrally aligned.
Thanks!

Bro...warranty will be voided permanently...right now there is no way relock the bootloader and most of the banking apps not working for me ?
Ah! Thanks again for the heads-up!
Now I'll think twice before rooting X4, because I use a banking app and actually care about product warranty.

On my old Moto PE, I had no issues with unlocked bootloader and Magisk for Adroid Pay or any banking apps. Are you finding differently with Moto X4 or are you not hiding root with Magisk? Does safetynet checks pass in Magisk?

When I install magisk safety net was pass and after installing xposed and its framework.zip file from magisk then safetynet failed.
But even without installing magisk just because of bootloader unlocking my banking apps won't work. Even with safetynet pass(but Google pay worked).

[GUIDE] PS4 Remote Play on Rooted Devices

Hello there, so this is a simple guide to get PS4 Remote Play working on Rooted phones.
Requirements:
1. A Phone with unlocked BL
2. Magisk
Steps:
Navigate to Magisk Mnager
Head to magisk hide and hide all sony apps, like PS store, messages, and remote pay.
Head to settings of the manager and chose Hide Magisk Manager, this is the only way I got the remote play to work.
And your good to go.

If remote play already saw you're rooted, it'll remember you're rooted even if you unroot. Clear the storage of remote play or uninstall then reinstall it so it has to check again.
Hi my friend! I have tried many times!
1 Uninstalled app,
2rebooted device,,
3 reinstalled app
4 hidden app from magisk
5 hidden magisk
6 open app
Same error!!
I have lineage unofficial custom rom! Nougat 7.1

This simulates build fingerprint of Huawei device. My theory is this works then because Huawei messed up with implementing the new SafetyNet checks correctly on this device. This is why Google made a exception to check the old way for devices with this fingerprint. But I am just guessing... Let's see how long this works
