It isn't a bug but yeah will fix it in next build

@ashwin007 Thanks a lot Happy new year, btw!
Did you manually fix the kernel because other builds (Lineage and AICP) still require you to flash the kernel? Just asking out of curiosity.

I'm eager to see it here! Nicely done @ashwin007

Must've fixed something as it's listed as fixed in the changelog.

The Bug that the preferred Sim changes after every reboot from Sim2 to Sim1 still persists.

Not official, but very close to what the first official weekly will be

The bugs i found out-
1.In call volume control for earpiece(speaker works fine)
2.Split screen size changing.
3.The file explorer
4.In the camera app the shutter sound option doesn't work.
Btw huge thanks to @ashwin007 to let us have a hands-on on possibly the best 7.1 rom till date.

Exciting!
Works fine so far!

Shall i flash arsenic kernal or not?

I make it, and work fine, but in 20161222

The ROM is perfect at least the way I use it. What I don't understand is why the signal strength fluctuates so much and drops off completely. It's not something I experienced in this ROM but in all nougat Roms. I'm getting a range of -90 to -109 dBm and I see the indicator drop off completely. I wonder if I may miss a call or text, if I initiate a call the indicator will jump up and once off call it drops off again. It something that is not present in OOS. (OOS avg. -70 to -90 dBm)

STATUS: BETA
This is a preview build, do not install it if you want a stable ROM.
This is a preview of what is going down on CM12.1
Rom is in beta state so many bugs are to be expected!
All the source code is available on my Github.
I do this on my free time and unfortunately I don't have much.
Any help is a appreciated!
I don't own N8000 device, so all RIL is untested, some may find it works, other may find it does not.

If you don't want to see cursor while using S-Pen, you can disable it it in settings / inputs
If you have trouble with video playback you can try to disable NuPlayer in developer settings
KNOWN BUGS:
N8000: scan network

Can you tell me if I can just overwrite my CM12 with this CM12.1 and do Wipe Cache? (I know I can't report bugs without all wipes, I just want to know if I can do that or it won't boot)
Build is up, but I had to up it on mega...
Enjoy
Smoother than BlissPop V2.3 ... Love it ...
Thx a lot ^_^ ...
Rotation Issue
Great 5.1 ROM to kick off. Thanks
The screen rotation will only disable into landscape mode. It is does not seem possible to disable rotate into portrait mode only.
Did I miss something?
Thanks
Installed just now. Rom feels a lot more snappy and much smoother animations than before. I have a bad habbit now of opening and closing the notification bar now just on how silky smooth it is. Great work

Nop, it's probably a bug in CM. Keep in mind that cm12.1 did not reach nightly build yet. So those build are a kind of preview.
Sent from my GT-P5110 using XDA Free mobile app
Using camera may cause system reboot.
The first time reboot when I used build-in camera app. (almost no other apps installed except gapps)
The second time reboot when I used google camera installed from google play market.
Bluetooth audio may cause sound glitch.
It seems CM12's problem. Changing performance option to Performace may reduce bluetooth sound problem.
BTW, use 5G WIFI seems also reduce bluetooth sound problem.
So far good, it is a keeper for now ?
One bug
Configuration crashs when I try to raise screen timeout to 30 minutes.
Does HDMI work?
I tried once unsuccessfully.
I am a n8010 user
Added link for N8000 in 2nd post.
This is early build, and call seems to be not working but 3G is.
Please report with logcat and radio logcat if you get some trouble (especially for phone call).

I did not Update Full Wipe and starts normally.
However, I believe the Gapps he had used in CM12 (used PA GAAP) was incompatible with the CM12.1. For some App have forced closure beyond the keyboard does not appear.
So I performed a clean installation, with GAAP basis 20150417 and everything works great. Thank you!

Instructions
If you are completely new to flashing custom ROMs and have no idea how to begin, start by downloading a TWRP image for your device from the links above and flash it using the ODIN tool (see below).
You cannot flash a custom ROM over stock recovery, so downloading a custom recovery is the first thing you will need to do.

Installation via recovery (TWRP/LineageOS Recovery)
* Download a recent .zip file from the links above for your device.
* Reboot into recovery mode [Press Power+Volume Up+Home].
* Wipe your data and cache partition (equivalent to doing a Factory Reset)
if you are coming from a stock ROM.
* Either: Plug in your phone into your computer, copy the zip file to a location on your Internal or External Storage on a device, click Install on TWRP on your phone and locate the zip file in the phone, or:
* Plug in your phone into your computer, and open Advanced->ADB Sideload on TWRP on your phone and swipe the slider to enter sideload mode.
Then open a command prompt/terminal on your computer in the folder you put the file by Shift-Clicking (Shift+Right Click) and selecting "Open Command Prompt/Terminal Here" (you will need to have adb installed) and type:
adb sideload name_of_zip.zip
to sideload the file. Replace name_of_zip.zip with the name of the file. If you are running Linux you may need to type adb kill-server and use sudo adb sideload if you get an `Insufficient Permissions` error.
* Download and flash GApps in the same way.

since we'll be using the same image.
*[NOTE] Decreased minimal scaling freq. to 200Mhz.
The previous scaling frequency minimum of 800Mhz was pretty high,
and could quickly cook your phone and kill power on mobile devices.
Lowering to 200Mhz should significantly extend batery life
on the stock scheduler.
There are a lot more minor tweaks and fixes. I don't have the time to constantly be updating this; I expect you'll read the
changelogs anyways since I take my time to write the commit messages in detail.

FAQ
Q: Are you taking device requests?
A: If and only if the device is using an msm8916 chip, and you're willing to buy me/donate the device for testing, sure.
Q: But I don't have that kind of money! What else?
A: Alternatively, if you're skilled with Linux and adb, and have an unsupported device, if you're willing to work with me as a tester, that works as well.
Q: Are you accepting feature requests?
A: Unless you're willing to implement it yourself, no.
Q: Can you make XXX ROM as well as LOS?
A: Unless more people donate, no. I simply don't have the time to maintain more than LOS nor money to hold that many ROMs on my already (tiny) struggling server.
Q: Can I throw money at you?
A: Most certainly. Donations are always welcome.

You want to help?
We need hardware power to get the builds done.
If you want to help us go faster, send a PM to @kentone or
@vince2678. Your computer will act as a client for our jenkins server.
In a perfect world, that would be all, but unfortunately no. We need money to keep the server running and keep bringing these ROMs.

CyanogenMod 14.1 is being uploaded for SM-G530W Currently. Estimated wait, around an hour or so.
UPDATE: SM-G530W has been uploaded and finished.
Fm Radio does not work on mine , getting error msg " FM operation failed. If the problem persists, pls turn off FM and turn it back on" . My Android version shows up as 6.0.1 . That's CyanogenMod 13.0 you're running there mate, not CYanogenMod 14.1. The only device for which a CM14.1 exists is the G530W at the moment. You'll be alerted when building starts for everything else.
Stuck on Samsung boot screen. Tried three downloads.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Clean flash over CM14.1 unofficial.
Finally!! Thanks a lot.
Great. Thanks a lot. Can I try a dirty install over unofficial Lineage 30.1.17?
Thanks a lot.
bug:
ipv6 usb tethering not working.
it possible to add ipv6 USB tethering in this ROM ??
any unofficial patch available?
Thank you @ashwin007 ! Great job, everything is perfect here.
One question, can we make FINGERPRINT UNLOCK without pressing the button? To be able to use touch home button without pressing it.
It was possible on the unofficial rom and as well on official LOS14.1 for Mi5 it's working perfectly.
If it's not possible can you provide separated fix?
Thank you!
At last. Thanks for great job. LOS 14.1.1.
I am getting some error while flashing this ROM.. please check out my screenshot and guide me.

Mate you sure you're not directly coming from COS? If you are, you might want to flash MM Firmware first and then try flashing the zip.
This error usually occurs when the present firmware isn't up to date.
I am facing very slow charging rate..

Like @magnet1215 suggested you can try disabling check zip signature in TWRP settings.
If that doesn't work either, I'm sorry I'm outta ideas then.

NOTES - MUST READ
1. All credits goes to @Grarak for making the sources. The kernel, device and vendor sources are using Grarak's sources as base + the changes i've did. Also I've been able to build by using Google Cloud platform since my PC is crap... It took me 1h 30m to build with Google Cloud platform, while with my PC was still building after 7h of building and then got an error regarding my PC (was too slow or out of memory).
2. You dont have to flash root because it is included.
3. Don't use encryption. I don't know why, but Grarak mentioned this on his twitter at the last build for CAN-L01.
4. ROOT is included. Enable it from Settings > Developer Options > Root access.
5. The DPI is set smaller by default. However, you can change that in Settings > Display.
6. SlimRom team has abandoned the development of MM version, so there wont be any other release unless there are fixes / improvements to the sources.
7. Few screenshots are attached at the end of this post.

Bugs
- offline charging / offline charging animation : it seems to show ??/100. Probably i'm missing something. It will be fixed in next build. Offline charging means when phone is charging, but it is turned off.
Same as LOS:
- FM-Radio (at this moment the app isn't even included)
- signal icon becomes empty / gray when you are using 3G, but the network is working
- camera recording / video playback issues (sometimes, when you play the recorded video it gets stuck / frozen)
- camera doesn't work for some people, while for me and others works
If you've found a bug, please report it along with a logcat.

I've made following changes to Slim6:
- added microG support
- fixed drag-n-drop for SlimLauncher (paged drawer style). @YAJATapps from github is the one who shared the fix. This bug was left by the team of Slim ROM since the development of Slim6 has stopped.

I don't think that i will do other changes (such Substratum or something else) because this rom is meant to be slim, you know..
The following changes were done few days ago and will be available in next build of LOS too, but i won't make a new LOS build just for those changes:
- allow emergency numbers in call log
- enabled extended font support
- enabled TARGET_BOOTANIMATION_HALF_RES to speed up boot: more details here
- init.qcom.usb.rc: removed HiSuite
- unlocked 2160p for YouTube: found this here and the XDA article is here. Test it with this video. If you can't see 2160p resolution, then try to clear data and cache at Youtube app and then reboot. Note that i didn't notice any difference at all, but the XDA article says that there are improvements. If you encounter problems with that resolution (such lags or something), then just don't use it.
