Download & install the FULL (1.62Gb) version only.
You need to unzip it first & copy the Update.app file only to the dload folder.
Take a full backup of all your important data stored in phone’s internal memory (for safety only as this update will not delete anything).
Open the dialer and enter *#*#2846579#*#* to access the ProjectMenu.
Go to Software Upgrade > SDCard Upgrade and confirm the update installation.

Obs: This is for CHINESE firmware only.
About installation: its flasheable zip file. This mean you can flash via TWRP. I assume you must be on unicomelectric/cn (vendor/market). I personaley followed this method: install B230, then update to B240, then update to B556. After that i flashed custom recovery from whitch i flashed this zip file.
1. Its plain with chinese apps, which probably are very usefull, but i cannot speak chinese, so there are the option to uninstall those apps.
2. Always you can install Huawei App HiApp from where can install google play store for example. But its very usefull for update huawei preinstalled system apps too, for whitch on play store arent any updates.
3. Huawei App Store (for official huawei apps): Huawei App Store
Point 16 Are the System Patches part of the let's call it 'mod' or of EMUI?

I doubt this is only for ALE-TL00 and cannot be installed on ALE-UL00
I changed the screenshots with my phones ones.
@ sokkoban: probably you remember: i was the one with chinese firmwares ale-ul00c00b551. And YES. You can flash over b556 chinese fw. One notice at flashing process says error mount blck...39 and 40 partition or what? Anyway the phone works well.

now i find, that the screen gesture settings are missing: double-tap wake-up, letter painting shortcuts, rotate the phone for mute alarm or calls. I wonder if these settings can be enabled or not via editing build.prop (or maybe local.prop)?
- Huawei-Swype its missing too, but we can install it: Huawei-Swype

I'm not using gestures so for me everything is working fine Thanks!
I can't enable or activate Hisuite after upgrading to v551 and v558 for restore data. Anybody with this problem? How to resolve?
this build quality is worse than 551. Very unstable bluetooth connection, lack of some good apps (swype, etc). So after two days back to 551.
b551 is the best version, specially for battery life , i had 6h30 screen on time and still have 11%

Do you need to be on the beta or stable branch to receive the update OTA?
Seems like stable.
Anyone got their hands on flashable zip file?
Why don't you guys just chill for a couple of days. Wouldn't that be nice
Do not need flashable zip, all you need is OTA download and do Local Upgrade

It's developer preview, and it's for the developer team I guess. Not for mass distribution.
And then why create a thread at XDA?

[HOWTO] Update your Galaxy S7 Edge firmware to Android Nougat

If you have a regular S7, you have to use this thread.
First of all, the credits of the second option from the tutorial below goes to @lirex, he is the one who created this tutorial in the S6 Active forum, I only edited it for the S7 Edge. Also, thank you @kcodya for providing the update servers URL of the S7 Edge. This is only for the AT&T model of the S7 Edge, not for international or other models, don't try it cause you might brick your phone! This update hasn't been tested yet, so if you don't like bugs or if your phone is important for work, don't update to an unreleased version, as there may be some bugs in it, which can cause sudden reboots or battery drains.
Second, English is not my native language. So if I made a mistake, please let me know.
Keep in mind you are updating your phone to an unreleased build. I can't say whether it's stable or not, because the update file has just been found. New update files will be released every now and then, but it is not possible to update from an unreleased build to another unreleased build. Once you're on Nougat and another update appears online, you have to flash back to PI2 and update it again.
If the update or sideload ends up failing, flashing the stock firmware with Odin will resolve this. But just be sure to follow all the instructions, AND ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR PHONE. Your phone will factory reset after the update.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT: Flashing WILL WIPE EVERYTHING SO BACKUP FIRST. (I'm not responsible for anything that goes wrong, but this worked for everybody so far). You can use this regardless of your firmware version. Just make sure to sideload the proper file for your current firmware!
Prerequisites: Before you proceed prepare these necessary things as follows so you will not screw-up your phone:
• Create a back-up with Smart Switch of all your personal data, like: Contacts, Messages, Applications, Pictures and Videos, so that you will not lost it just in-case something might went wrong after the update.
• Make sure that your Galaxy S7 Edge battery is fully charged to ensure stability and to get rid of power failure issues while updating.
• TURN OFF the Reactivation Lock - Go to Settings > PERSONAL > Lock screen and security > Find My Mobile and log in your Samsung Account. Then uncheck the Turn Reactivation lock on. This is only needed if you already turned-it-ON, from which you cannot modify the system when it's turned-ON.
• If you disabled some system bloatware manually or with a third party software, make sure everything is enabled again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 1: Flash via "Apply update from SD card".
1.) Download the firmware packages from the official AT&T Update server to your PC:
To make it easier for everyone, all update files have been uploaded to Google Drive, thanks @siacono.
v2 (G935AUCU2APD1) to v3 (G935AUCS2APE1) update file

v8 (G935AUCS4APJ4) to unreleased (G935AUCU4BQA4) update file
v9 (G935AUCS4APK1) to unreleased (G935AUCU4BQA4) update file
If you prefer downloading them from AT&T's servers, here are the original links: (NOT working anymore)
** You will see SERVER ERROR 403 or ERROR 404: NOT FOUND, that's because you have to use a download manager program like this (it's free), otherwise you won't be able to download those files. **

-> v9 (G935AUCS4APK1) to unreleased (G935AUCU4BQA4) update file
2.) After you download the right update, right mouse click on it, select "Rename" and add ".zip" at the end of it. Then, put it on the root of the SD card. If you have an empty one, use it, just to prevent the SD card will be formatted too.
3.) Reboot the phone into recovery. Turn it off and wait a minute for it to completely turn off. Hold down Volume Up + Home + Power until you see a little Android guy. It will say Applying System Update or something like that possibly, and just let it do it's thing until a menu comes up.
4.) Select "Apply update from SD card". You can scroll using the volume buttons and select using the power button.
5.) Wait patiently. The firmware files over 1 GB can take over 30-40 minutes. It's okay.
6.) The phone will reboot and will hang at AT&T logo. This can take another 10 minutes, just wait until it's done. Now repeat steps 1 to 5 until you're on the latest firmware (Android Nougat, unreleased version).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option 2: Flash via "Apply update from ADB".
If the first method somehow doesn't work for you, you can try it using your computer. Prepare a Windows PC, sometimes it doesn't work on a Mac.
1.) Download the firmware packages from the official AT&T Update server to your PC:

3.) Select "Apply update from ADB". You can scroll using the volume buttons and select using the power button.
4.) Make sure you have ADB and the proper drivers installed on your PC:
-> ADB & Drivers installer
5.) If you're on firmware v8 and you're going for the Nougat update the update file is called "SS-G935AUCS4APK1-to-U4BQA4-UP". Put it in the ADB folder. You can rename it to anything easy to remember like "FIRMWARE".
6.) In the ADB folder, hold SHIFT + right mouse click and choose "Open command window here". Then type the command "adb sideload FIRMWARE" (where FIRMWARE is how you named your file). If you have any problems check the Troubleshooting Tutorial at the end of the post.
7.) Wait patiently. The firmware files over 1 GB can take over 30-40 minutes. It's okay.
8.) The phone will reboot and will hang at AT&T logo. This can take another 10 minutes, just wait until it's done. Now repeat steps 1 to 5 until you're on the latest firmware (Android Nougat, unreleased version).

If you still get an error message, paste it in the comments and we'll try to find a resolution .

I think the most current one. I also found the PL1, PL4, PL5, PLP, QA1 and some others, but they are all older, so I think this is the most stable and up to date version at the moment.
i have the flat AT&T S7(completely stock, no root), how would i find out the update server url's?

If you can follow the instruction in this post and give me the update servers URL, I can search for the Nougat update.
If I'm on APG1 do I need to download v4-v8 and update each one step by step? Or can I wait until the newest one is hosted and update without the computer?

You can't update to BQA4 straight from APG1, so yes you have to do the updates one by one.

I have the same question.. If I'm on APK1, can I just download the last v8 file?
Once the official release of 7 comes out will we be able to upgrade from this unreleased version to the production version using At&t servers directly on the phone
This news must mean we are close to the official OTA release!!!!:highfive:

Yes, you just have to make sure your baseband is the same as the one before the "to". If it isn't, you have to update it until it is. The baseband versions must mach, otherwise you may brick your phone.

No you won't, those versions are still in development and are not meant for daily use, so if you want to upgrade, you first have to flash back to stock with Odin.

I can't say that, in February 2016 there already was an unreleased build for the S6 Active, but the OTA was released in July 2016, so maybe it will take another 5 months from now.

Help -- huawei p9 plus -- missing stock apps

Good day!
Huawei P9 Plus
VIE-L29
C636B388 to B389
The first I did was,
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. Flashed twrp
3. Install root
4. Accidentally wiped OS (no os installed! cant boot)
5. Fixed it by MRT Tool (with not same region firmware but fixed boot problems)
tho I cannot apply themes!
but bootloader locked again and removed root and twrp.

(make sure to sellect the FULL OTA and not the OTA MF)
-> select check firmware access
-> select with imei
-> then after select GET AN UPDATE THROUGH DNS
-> then select REGISTER UPDATE
after those step, go to setting-> system update
now it will show thats there is new update and just download it, after finishing the download just apply the updated one but before restarting turn off the dns server running in your status bar,

Did you try it? On a rooted phone?
Not getting the update
I am not getting the auto update and also when I downloaded the update manually, it isn't showing any update notification after rebooting.

If you do not have unlocked bootloader and you are on stock recovery
Then put the update file in SD card
Boot to recovery and select
'apply update from external storage"
Then select the update file and done.
