[JB] how to get offline voice recognition

A interesting feature of jelly bean is the "offline voice recognition", but after updating my RAZR I OTA there's still NOT this feature.
I know that stock jelly bean for nexus s doesn't have it because it's too weak, but the performance of the RAZR I is much better, even better than the Galaxy nexus which have offline voice recognition.
So my question is: is there a way to make it work on RAZR I? Is there any mod or something?

Have you been able to activate it?
Google Says:
Go to voice search - settings - voice - and it should be right after "block offensive words".
This however does not seem to be the case for me.
Any help?

FINALLY! Someone else is asking after this too..
Someone I know was on the test programme for Razr I Jellybean.. and they said that in earlier builds it was there.. looks like
Its been removed and not just from Razr I either.. there are other threads on the web where ppl with jellybean upgraded phones
Were expecting this feature and it's not there.. guess Google must've quietly pulled it for one reason or another..

Nope. I think its been removed from the JB rom permanently.. and there's been no explanation why, that I can find anywhere
Hi there,
it´s still available for JB, all you have to do is uninstall the update for google search (Settings - Apps - googe search - deinstall update)

Unbelievable! You're right. But why it's gone with the updates??
Edit: so I've test a bit and find the following things:
1. Uninstall updates for Google search
2. Go to settings - language and input - voice search ; and download the right offline package
3. Reinstall updates
For me it works fine. The offline speech recognition options in settings is gone with the updates, but the feature is still there and work well with my downloaded package.

Awesome find! And how weird that its been buried like this.. oddly though, English (US) was preinstalled but only German was available as another offline speech pack to download

and the german package wasn't downloadable for me, every time i tried it stopped after 1 or 2 seconds. can download all other things but not this package.
Hmm...that´s wired. I´m from germany and I have loaded the german package without a problem. If I switch to "all" there are a lot of language packs to download. I don´t know why you cant´t load it, sorry.

Did you try to download it via wlan ?

I'm in France and the only package I see is the german one, and like above I'm unable to download it
Edit : A simple reboot solved the problem, now I can see several packages and was able to download the french one. Works great and even after updating the google search. Thanx for the method !

Can you please provide the Google Search app before the updates? My version is too new - even with uninstalled updates Would love to download the German offline dictionary.
Thank you in advice!

Google Dialer on VZW Moto X

Has anyone tried installing the dialer for lollipop on the Verizon Moto X? I'm definitely missing the business search in the app and the updated material icon...
Also interested in this, I have the pure edition, any info on how to would be helpful! The apk wont install so i assume theres some root requirements, such as placing the apk in system apps then moving some libraries?
There's another thread for this already. Some ppl have it working but u need to be rooted if I remember correctly

WiDi / Miracast not working on Stock 5.0.2

Hi,
im trying to mirror the display of my moto g 2. gen on my LG TV which supports intel widi/miracast. However, the moto g and my TV state that no compatible device has been found. The strange thing is that other devices work without any problem, including my moto g 1. gen with also 5.0.2 on it.
Is that a bug in the moto g 2. gens rom? Can anyone confirm this feature is actually working?
In cm12 you have to edit some lines in build.prop
For stock i think you have to use the flashable zip
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2989167
My suggestion is to start with build.prop edit
Oh, ok. So that sounds like there is a general problem with miracast on moto g 2. gen? I wasnt aware...
Unfortunately, i didnt plan rooting the phone. But in this case i might have to. Thanks for your help.
