almost same problem like mine. the "big" processor always stopped, even when i'm playing some "demanding" games. that makes the "little" one works at full frequency (1,59 GHz) and my phone becomes very very hot.
i'm using the 64 GB Mi 5.
currently can't post at development thread because of my new account. really loved your work. sorry for mentioning you here. @bgcngm

So is this a bug of the rom? Or is it because Quadrant have compactiblity issues with Android 4.0?

Maybe its some sort of system dedicated resource space so it cant be used from anything else then the system itself.

Tsen_tz_sensors 140°f and up

I installed cpu_z cause my phone has been feeling pretty hot lately. And the battery seems to be in normal range but the to sensors what ever they are. I tried to Google and got some Japan website. But I'm attaching a screen shot of the Temps.

Looks like CPU sensors. Those temps are fine and actually cool (normal) for CPU in use.

Huawei p9 plus throttling?!

French android news discovered the p9 plus is throttling quickly when playing or on charge:

i got the same result on my side. after 30-45 seconds, the cpu stay below 1500mhz and don't hit anymore 2500mhz.
i'm very disapointed, i bought a kirin to have a less powerfull cpu but to use it every time at max capacity.
anyone else noticed this?

It's likely down to firmware differences i'm sure the P9 plus will be updated.

hello , am experiencing a major problem with my Mi 9T pro
so after i installed PixelExperience Plus A13 , the phone is getting so hot without even using it
it was running well for about a week
i run an ADB command to see per app cpu usage and as u can see this "com.google.andr+" IS eating my cpu
can someone explain this to me please ? is that a bug in this ROM or a malware
i need help please

what is your xiaomi mi9 cpu score in geekbench 6

I compared my mi9 with s10e (both of them use snapdragon 855), in geekbench6 more often than not I found the performance core is not reaching 2.8 for mi9, while s10e doesn't have this issue. Also this problem doesn't happen for mi 9 in geekbench5. It doesn't seem like a thermal throttle since temp is cool. When my mi 9 reaches max turbo clock, the following is the score.
