Nice. I'll probably go back to los in a bit and check it out.

you are awesome freeza!
dirty flashing the 02/10 build right now so I can flash this kernel.

Where are you guys finding a 2/10 build? O_O

I'm running well with the latest 2/3/2017 build. Otherwise, I have no idea of a 2/10/2017 build.

Nice for AOKP work it too

Great stuff!!! Just flashed, customized values a little and all seems well.
Sent from my ZTE A2017U using Tapatalk

Stupid question, but does the LOS build of the kernel work on the G version running LOS too?

So essentially, what does this do allow the user to do? I've tried tweaking the CPU maximum/minimum settings through kernel adiutor, and it just reverts right back to where it was before I tweaked it. Am I missing something?
Edit: Nevermind; after a second restart the maximum CPU settings stay put after changing the performance profile under "Battery settings" to Performance

What sort of values did you set? It's been a while since I've tweaked android so relearning a lot of this.

@freeza Does this kernel have SafetyNet patch which bypasses bootloader unlocked check?

Flashed, then bootloop. Ugh. I guess it isn't compatible with Resurrection Remix.

@Lanchon thank you soooo much for all of your hard work for our device even tho you don't even own them!
Hope this is not rude, but may I ask if you plan on releasing a kernel (or kernels) for non-CM-based ROMs? Or are you planning to let them devs themselves merge the fix, and only release CM kernels?
Sorry if this was rude, please ignore me or sth if it was.
Once again, thank you for all or your hard work.
Wow thanks
Does FPBug related somehow to kitkat overheating and random reboots?

Lunchon, if i may, a paired request Could you make a TRIM + FPbug kernel, for LP ?
Wow! You're a hero, been using your kernel only for 24h, but no problems yet. One question tough, can i switch to the ART runtime when using your kernel, or should i stay on dalvik?

the fpbug should be integrated in cm soon. so i think official cm will be fixed long before cm12 is released.

No
I tried it again with squids kernel and it works but only some of the sungtuner settings have option
the others are empty i guess for now
and wifi works on the rom
Wifi is working. I am talking about mobile data. And we have not added features yet. This is basic build
Rom restarts all the time
And change kernels and do not work
As a said mobile data not working and kernels not booting if u flash a different kernel then the rom will boot give the devs a chance geez!

Yeah i was a bit skeptical on saber tc and all the other tc's and that's why i made my first build with the stock tc, but i might make a personal build later and compare.

Also try to do odex all apps, there is an unofficial odexed cm13 available for OP3 in xda forum, also, you can directly build with radon if you want, just clone radon-cm branch of my kernel instead of stock cm source.

I'll have a look into odexing during builds (idk if that's possible), but from past experiences, it does not really offer much, it just saves device storage space (which is why it was so heavily used back in 2010-2012 on those ~1gb internal storage devices lol)

Just flashed it, first impression the ROM is smooth. But would you also provide the ones compiled using UBERTC4.9 or Linaro4.9? I would be glad to be the first one who tried it. Even if it causing errors and whatsnot.
interesting project .Just curious, your build is base on snapshot or nightly cm13 build ?
If this rom uses radon kernel in-built for future builds.... It would be like a best rom+ will narrow down any bugs arising due to rom or kernel

As I discussed above, I might make a second build soon with Uber TC but optimizing all apks by hand literally takes me an entire 5-6 hours (of which I sit infront of my computer decompiling apk's and optimizing each and every .PNG inside of them then recompiling them and sending them to my device to make sure I have not messed up any graphics in those apk's, hence why this was built 23/8/16 but I only finished the optimizations by today.

It's based on the latest cm13 sources from 23/8/16 so I guess you could say it's based on nightly sources lol

AOSPA [CAF] for Nexus 5

Hello,
As some of you already notice I'm working on AOSPA 7.1.x for Nexus 5. When this project becomes stable AOSPA Team will consider about supporting it officially with me as maintainer of course.
So, I will share with you, my progress so far.
To-do List:
Fix audio effects problem
Rework device repo [need to cleanup]
Fix camera not saving photos
Device specific features:
Switch from mpdecision to autosmp (better battery life)
cpu-boost optimizations
implement task's adj rbtree (LMK improvement)
disabled cpu retention (hh bugfix)
vsync workaround (hh bugfix)
This looks very promising!

It's caf based like LineageOS. But no, you can't install franco kernel. only the ones who supports caf roms.
YES, YES! It looks really tempting. Right now, a CAF base is much better for the Nexus 5 than an Aosp one. It's very nice to see something new based on CAF. Hope you will continue this project. Thanks and good luck.

I've been testing this for Marco during the past 2 weeks and everything works great. You guys have a reason to be excited and I know you won't be disappointed once it is released, which should be soon. Hey! I read in the Dark ROM CAF threads that a CAF ROM won't work if the screen is replaced by a non-OEM screen. Since PA is based off CAF now, I suppose it will be true for PA too? Can anyone confirm and is yes, is there a workaround or something?
