Not out of the box - it wont . but you can extract the common APKs out of the zip and use them on your Z5 E6653

Okay, that should not happened !!
try this ----
- first get into twrp - flash the kernel from here then reboot to system use for a bit .
- restart to twrp again and flash the superSU 2.79.zip -- see if its successfully done its processing
- restart to system again and open superSU to see if it is working properly -- it should .
- disable updates for super SU and have fun with your root.
*** remember Nougat from SONY has a default mounting policy for its SYSTEM petition to READ ONLY mode.you will need to use Root Explorer like file explorer to mount the SYSTEM partition to READ/ WRITE mode and then commit change to it. X- Plore wont work .
Is that the official one from Sony or the pulled down version?

376 is the last N version. Xposed isnt working in nougat

This is nougat thing, kernel has nothing to do about it.
I unlocked my bootloader and tried to install this kernel, I think it shows that it's done but I can't go into recovery mode, and I can't see the busy box icon too. please help.
This kernel if use in e6653 can work?

D2005 and D2105 are almost same. On D2005 you can flash a Dual firmware, and on D2105 you can do it the same thing
However I only have D2005 so I don't know what happens when you flash a Single Firmware, maybe you could not use the second SIM

i do that but the both sim dont work at all if any one give us away to make them work it will be good

bof... after reinstalling apps slowness again, recovery not installed, icons not genius, bug on widget with acalendar
so, formatted and reinstalling backuped rom
too bad that 4.3 hasn't recovery...

I am having difficulties with my camera too.
i think superuser mod is not working.
As I unlocked the camera with APK tool for nougat and tried replacing with the stock one.
it says camera is busy by another process.

@ L33Tgod found out that the camera black issue is with the vulkan driver flashable ZIP LIBs , not the the deodexed --
I found out that the patched services.jar is somehow not working with my edited camera UI apk.
so I decompiled a stock JAR and then force the compare function to return always 0 .
Now my edited cameraUI from XZ is running fine
Here is the jar file, u can replace the stock with this one -----

Thats nothing to worry about.................... my friend
I personally use lcd density = 320 , so it is set to 320 in build.prop
just change it back to 480 which is default size and your phone will be back to its normal stock PPI

I don't know what is wrong, and here's my steps:
1. flash stock firmware via flashtool, wipe all.
2. flash kernel via fastboot ( fastboot flash boot 376_NO_SU.img ).
3. flash SuperSU via twrp, wipe cache/dalvik, and reboot.
4. flash deodexed patch via twrp, wipe cache/dalvik, and reboot.

No, I have no plan to do anything else , neither do I have that amount of time.
I found out I cant use WhatsApp video call too
Chrome is having problem too sir.
Because I wanna use Bluetooth , I restore a backup using twrp to go back to without patch, and now I'm stuck in recovery , keep looping back to twrp even though I tried to boot system

I think it is.
I flashed the backup rom and the king s8 ROMs.
Both worked just fine.
I'm currently on King S8 but I'm going to flash this Stock and mod it with Rijuzz pack from the apps and themes section.
Is it odexed or deodexed? Also, do we need to flash modem beforehand if we are coming from MM?

Yeah, I've flashed it, works like a charm, it's odexed, but there are some bugs in the settings, not sure if the odin versions has it as well. Here is a screenshot (device maintanance, battery and apps are twice).
Works for me on SM-A510F. But no working root with Magisk.
Magisk says rooted. But all su request fail.

When i install the ota over SER, it's not like this, but when i flash the Nougat with odin, it's same like yours...
I don't know what's the problem, but if i will find any solutions, i will repack the rom or make a patch for it

Try to reflash Magisk via TWRP... if it's not working, then go in Magisk app setings, and set default perimsion to Grant instead Prompt

Root:
Install magisk from playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.topjohnwu.magisk
Open magisk, slide from left, go to download, and download Magisk v12.0
Reboot into recovery
Install -> sdcard -> MagiskManger -> magisk v12.0
Reboot system.
Now you are rooted
Custom ROM based on nougat coming soon!

It just turn on dim display when notification arrives.
Its useful because you don't have to wake up the device with power key to see arrived notifications. It saves the efforts of unlocking the device every time to see notifications.

Who want to try?
Backup framework-res.apk to sdcard.
Try mod, if softbrick your device open TWRP.
Copy your backup file and paste /system/framework folder and overwrite.
Then long press file give chmod 755 permission.

How? No mods right(odexed without superusermod)? When I flashed phone did not boot. RED LIGHT means softbrick.

So you are not on stock! This is a modified services.jar file, it gives superusermod privileges.
Stock means nothing modded.
@andro2master he says superusermod is enough to get this work, deodexed not required. Thanks for your work. I will flash superusermod and give a try :fingers-crossed:

Stock is stock, even if u install all fancy mods and deodex the hell out of it.
The only non-stock ROMs are custom ROMs (aosp, lineage, carbon etc).
So right now OP is telling people they need custom ROM instead of stock or modded stock ROMs.
Maybe u should change that, just my 2 cents..

Advanced users knows the difference between stock and custom roms. Here Stock refers to not modified by deodexing or patching service.jar. Hope will take it in right sense..

You can use it on stock rooted rom with patched service.jar i.e. Super User mod. Give a try its working for others.
