I have a Chinese T-813, how can i change the version to any other country. It doesnt support the gapps now. I flashed custom rom but there are some WiFi problems and it hanging too offen. Is there any method to change the chinese to UK or US version stock ROM

On T-813 you can flash any stock rom from any country, it will work fine.

Thanks.. but when i am trying it shows some version error.. like i am downgrading the OS.. Can you inform from where i can download the UK or US Stock ROM. instead of SAM mobile portal which is ugly slow.

How are you flashing the firmware?
What version of Android are you in and which version did you download and trying to flash?

Noticed that there's on new Asian Rom with Froyo version @samsung firmwares. Weird naming though I9008. Anyone tried it?

SamsungFirmware's Twitter post 3 hours back mentioned this - 'Samsung I9000 ASIA firmwares 2.1 = I9000DXJG4 2.2 = I9008ZMJG1'.
I'm downloading both - will give the supposedly 2.2 firmware a try but am slightly concerned that it's an 'I9008...' and not an 'I9000...'.
Anyone tried ZMJG1 yet?
Looks like the 2 ROM released by samsung-firmware are not very popular.

AFAIK, model number ends with an 8 are for chinese market. They also says Anycall on the phone instead of Samsung. They should have the same specification as those models end with a 0. for example Tocco was F480/F488, Omnia the ancient was i900/i908.

It's a 2.1 Android rom not a 2.2

This ZMJG1 is 2.2, but you need to ude Ares to flash it, anyone what to try it?
Do not flash this the ZMJG1 is for GT I9008 2.2 but the only problem is that the I9008 spec is a single GSM band 1900 Ghz.

Wow, the china market for i9008 has a Froyo rom, nice indeed.
Also, it uses Aries Downloader and coupled with Shrewsbury-v5 adb suite, no wonder it looks strange.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH this on i9000.....I almost bricked my phone trying to flash that with odin. Using the included flasher didn't work. It will fail right in the start of flashing with Odin, and after that, phone cannot boot up!!
Lucky still can put device into bootloader mode, but it took me few attempts before odin was able to load JM2 into rom!
because the Android NANDs, some people lock their hd mini, and then needs to install Official ROM. some of theme were the people who need the Australia and Hong Kong ROM.
I search verry much for these ROMs. only the HTC site has Hong Kong ROM that it cans be used for Australian. and so, I interested in to upload that some place els.
this ROM is an official ROM of Hong Kong area. and other people who are searching for Australian ROM can download it, and use it.

no sspl needed! it's official rom, and it's just for some one who need the australian or hong kong official rom.
i m using samsung galaxy mini s5570 and its from ORANGE vendor.
i want to upgrade my android 2.2.1FROYO to any new version
now as its from orange i had to unlock the sim lock so i want to ask that if i upgrade will it get locked again???

No, your phone doesn't get locked if you flash a new rom. I recommend you to flash the latest rom from sammobile.
Download something newer from samfirmware. And do you want custom rom, or just newer?
U can upgrade to gingerbread first, then u can use many custom roms try downloading latest version of firmware for ur region from sammobile..

AFAIK, there is no specific stock rom available for Australia. all stock roms have english so no problem about that. You can flash once for South East Asia. Latest DXKT6 or you can download the latest for EU.

Im the owner of N9208 Taiwan version (BRI) and im unable to flash ROM from different region. Odin fails at the start.
It is definitely related to different CSC.

It doesnt work buddy....It returns an error on ODIN flash failed cm.bin
