Just install the rom RR-OS will be better
And it will install the kernel that you need automatically

Does not have a functional kernel at all. HID based functions do NOT work at all, nor does badusb work. Even the USB Keyboard app states that there is no functional kernel in order to run it. Really wished it did have a kernel.

Work for smg900p? Old links are all down

Any chance you want to try making an AOPP rom with this included? https://www.pwnieexpress.com/blog/android-open-pwn-project

Does this work with lineageos 14.1 running android 7.1.2 on klte?

I used the guide over here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/unified-development/kali-nethunter-galaxy-s5-t3298477
I currently have a Galaxy S5 KLTE running linage os 7.1.2 with exposed and nethunter/Nethunter custom kernel installed and setup
here is a snippet about the custom kernel
"
The NetHunter kernel for the Samsung Galaxy S5 is based on nVidia's rel-24-sb-r1-1 kernel sources.
It has the following changes:
F2FS added using Jaeguek Kim's latest kernel.org:f2fs-stable sources (available on system/data/cache!)
UKSM - Ultra Kernel Same-page Merging support
Cortex-A15 & Neon-VFPv4 + -O2 compiler optimizations
NEON-asm kernel & sha/aes support
Compiled with Linaro's branch of GCC 4.9.4
Updated and enabled USB (OTG) Atheros, Ralink, and Realtek WiFi drivers
Simple IO (SIO) scheduler as default IO scheduler (updated for modern kernels)
USB HID Gadget keyboard support
mac80211 packet injection support
TCP congestion control updates and fixes
Westwood or Cubic (default)
DriveDroid compatibility
Some small security fixes (pipe, keyring, etc)
Additional drivers built in for the full Kali NetHunter experience"

EX Kernel Manager version 3.42 with support for this phone is rolling out now on the Play Store.
I'm getting random reboots with this kernel installed (stock 7.1.1 NMJ88C, no root, clean flash)
No overclocking
logcat (not sure if useful): https://pastebin.com/T3ymUBrB
I'm not experiencing any random reboots but the camera (any app I try) crashes.
Tried to grab a log here: https://pastebin.com/g5VLMJ4r
Using NMJ88C as well with just EX installed.
I feel like this device is going to be a nightmare.

Is support for LOS 15.1 / any Android 8.1 ROMs planned? Aldo, would you consider adding EAS to the kernel? Thanks for this kernel by the way.

[WIP] postmarketOS

postmarketOS is Linux operating system. This system is able to turn your phone or tablet into desktop like device with touchscreen controls. You can use GNOME application from your desktop if they're adapted to smaller screen or in some cases it just work without adaptation. You can also use any terminal and GUI application from GNU/Linux if it fits your screen
Prerequisites:
- Linux system with ADB and USB cable
- latest (official) TWRP installed
- grouper (both HW rev. PM269 & E1565) or tilapia
Source to build from:
Instalation procedure:
Note: from environment I recommend Phosh, but due to unfinished 3D acceleration, use rather Xfce4 or something X11 based (older, but works with basic acceleration).
What works:
- flashing
- USB (including OTG)
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- LCD + Touchscreen (with rotation)
- light sensor
- NFC (should work, driver loads, initialize, no NFC device to test)
What doesn't work (yet):
- camera
- 3D support (only GL 1.4 supported -which is useless, contributors welcome), so UI is slow..
Dev docs:
Kernel sources:
- used kernel https://github.com/grate-driver/linux/

Hi man,Good to see this thread on here, I succefully installed and booted pmOS on mainline kernel + Phosh (just followed the guide on the wiki), but i'm struggling to get wifi work! device is not being loaded, i tried to copy driver on /systsem/vendor/firmware/fw_bcm4330_bg.bin and /system/etc/nvram.txt and rebooted as a little googling seems to suggest but still not working. have you managed to make it work?

pmOS looks really cool! I'd like to install it on my grouper, and was wondering if anyone could provide me with a pmos recovery zip. The reason for this is that I unfortunately don't have a Linux machine. I can of course download an image for free and install it, but I don't have the time (too much work ?). I was reading the wiki and it looks like pmbootstrap performs poorly on WSL, so that isn't an option. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone could provide me with a recovery installer zip for grouper (@okias do you have it by any chance?). Thanks in advance!
