android 7.0 - Oculus -WQHD and pigasus - Samsung Gear VR

instaled full version of pigasus the other day, works brilliantly.
Now tho after upgrading my phone to android 7.0, oculus demands WQHD to be enabled other wise it wont run
Now playing 3d vids occasionally works as it should, but most of the the time its completely stuffed (freezes, tearing, blank screeens etc)

[Q] Strange problem with Samsung I9000

Hi all.
Have been a happy owner of a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 for almost a year now.
The I9000 has worked great until some weeks ago.
Suddenly I noticed that every movie I watch stops with a black screen after
30-60sec, then reapear after 5sec and so it goes on through out the entire video, just like when buffering a streaming video.
This happens with movies that are saved on the device (not streaming)
I´m also using my device for car navigation with Navigon, Aura etc. is dead slow.
These navigation apps worked perfect before with smooth uppdate of the maps while driving.
Now the maps freezes for 10-20sec then updates, then freezes again.
This makes all navigation useless.
I have tried to stop all running apps, restarted the device.
Have also uninstalled all newly added apps.
I´m on 2.3.3 Gingerbread.XWJVH (uppdated some month ago and everything has been working fine until now)
I have 135mb used RAM and 1,5Gb free mem on the unit.
Also have 3,5Gb free on the mem card.
Everything else works great on the device, no lag when scrolling menu´s etc.
Except for the battery, a fully charged battery last for about 6 hours.
But I´m using it ALOT for both mail/sms/navigation etc.
Batteri usage:
Display 51%
Android OS 17%
Seems to be right?
The only thing that I have change over the last weeks is that I have redirected
my work mail to my gmail, but this should not be to hard on the phone.
I´t like everything is on half speed..
I have read about rooting the device and use lag fix but I don´t realy want to do this.
Any ideas?
(Excuse my bad English)
A general solution could be to do a factory reset (WARNING: that will delete your data etc! so don't do it unless everything is backed up!) and see if that fixes it.
However, as a specific solution - i shrug my shoulders.
Do you know if your handset has branded firmware?

[Q] Is TwitchTV (Hardware Video) Working CM/PA/Carbon

Last time i tried to use TwitchTV / MXPlayer HW+
the Apps force-closed themselfs, prob. due to missing codecs
(because some videos work in HW-only mode in MxPlayer,
some only SW, whereas on 4.1.2 all the videos are playable on HW+ / HW)
I used to Watch a lot of Streams of my Favorite Streamers, and also a lot of
Anime.
As my Sources are mostly 720p, the Phone kinda lags sometimes and desyncs (audio realtime, video, like 70% speed)
and also the Batterydrain on SW is much higher compared to what it is on 4.1.2.
I tried :
CM11 (30.06)
Carbon (02.07)
both of them have those errors.
rn im on Virginity V13 (4.1.2) where everything runs, but the batterlife overall is sh*tty.
(Just fresh-installed it no apps running in the background , screen off, after 1 hr i lose 10% battery)
In school we are "programming" with AppInventor2
just because we finished our exams in Java and its only one month left 'till vacation
and every app i run, programmed in AI2 drains battery like hell, after 2 minutes of testing a calculator i lose 6% thats hella
much compared to the stock Apps delivered with the Rom.
To come to my Point: is Twitch/HW running on PA(UO) / CM / Carbon
and how is the overall batterylife experience with these Roms

[Q] ME176C keeps rebooting

Hi!
I have an Asus ME176C, it had Android 4.4 on it and a few days ago, I did a factory reset. Everything went fine, first time setup, it's working, cool. After a few minutes, I got a notification about system update, which was strange, because I had the latest one 30 minutes earlier, before the reset. Even stranger, it wasn't a simple firmware update, it was the Android 5.0 update. I've heard nothing about it, Google still can't find anyhing about it and as I said, when I checked for updates, nothing has showed up and now all of a sudden, it's here. Alright, I was pretty happy, updated. Update went fine too, now I have a Lollipop and everything is working.
Now here comes the fun part. After 8-10 minutes of more intense using (and I'm not talking about an hour of 100% CPU usage, just not a stand by state, you know), the app crashes and the tablet restarts. Maybe it has something to do with the Intel GPU, because it happened only when I was playing games (Real Racing 3, CSR Racing and The Room Two) and was watching stream with the Twitch.tv app, though there were no problem, when I was watching videos on Youtube or somewhere else. My other idea was overheating, but on 4.4 I used to play much more than this 10 minutes and it doesn't even feel extremely hot.
Does anybody has any idea? Maybe Lollipop is not compatible (yet?) with Intel chipsets?
Edit: Spotify made it restart after 15 minutes. Not related to GPU, not hot at all. What could cause this?

Video Playing Problem after Android 10

Hi guys,
After updating my sm-n960f (exynos) to android 10 via ota I can't play videos correctly.
With default player everything is fine but when it comes to third party players (mx player, vlc player etc) the problem shows up.
It's like I'm streaming a video which im not (playing from internal storage) the video freezes and actually there is a loading bar in mx player like when you're streaming ! I tried reinstall the apps, upgrading to last versions, turn off optimise battery usage but none of them works.
This problem is really annoying and I don't know what to do with this.
Help me please.
Thanks in advance
I would contact the app developer with the details. They will probably address this in a future update.

Thanks for your reply,
Of course the best way is contact to developers but since I have this issue on every third-party video player after updating to android 10 I just wanted to know that maybe there is a fix , trick or something that may help with this problem
This is a definate problem. On my Android 4 back up expria, ancient, android 4.4, all videos play fine. I only use Mx Player Pro, and find files using es explorer full. On Android 10 q, I tested same using a brand new 128 gig sd card, vidoes played fine upon installation or aforementioned apps, watched a vid, went to sleep, woke up, went to watch a vid, no video now plays. NONE. Tried different versions of mx player, tried vlc, different versions, but stuck with latest, knowing the problem is android 10 q, since the same 128 gig sd card with same movies all play fine in android 4.4, so yeah, get ready for the freeze's that lead to bootloop. I even tried wipe cache in recovery, and the factory reset, re-installed apps, same problem. Why they played, then stopped playing anything is beyond me, since i had no wifi connected, and no sim installed, quite simply, viewing video's in android 10 q is now a no go.
Symptoms include:
Immediate black screen, need to force reboot by holding power for 30 seconds.
Full black screen with tiny blue square dead center, nothing else functons, again, 30 second forced reboot
Video starts, then phone reboots of it's own accord
No video plays.
No, I dont have a virus, settings are set to sw decoding, since hardware brings more problems.
I guess they want us to go on youtube, but since I banned google in my entire network...

Phone started running slow

Hi All,
I've been living with this phone as stock firmware since it was released however over the past month or so I notice it's been running slow. I factory reset twice installed less apps and it's not solving the problem.
Any suggestions?
I assume this phone have enough juice to run everything as it once was.
Most of the issues are from video playback. When I pause a video then the phone goes to sleep, after I wake the video and try to play the video it will get all weird and I have to restart.
By stock firmware, do you mean you're running android 8.1 that the phone shipped with? Why haven't you updated your software?
Are you using the stock huawei video player or a third party player? Could be the player.
