[Q] xperia x1 battery problem

hai guys..........
sorry for my bad english
my xperia x1 mobile battery sometimes over heat so......please help me
that's not t&a, moved to q&a
also there are some threads concerning battery temperature, tried searching already?
last but not least, when you think it's valid to open a new thread (instead of searching/reusing existing ones) you should provide as many information as possible, my battery gets rather warm too once in a while and I know when that is the case...you didn't describe one scenario when it happens for you, that's nothing other members can work with, except speculating or answering in general which probably does not help you
Best, DK

[Q] question regarding AngryGPS, can anyone help?

Hi all,
I flashed Overcome ROM v2.0.1 HERMES rom 3 days ago, verything works fine on my P1000.
While I found the battery consumption is quick fast. When I check the battery usage, got message like this:
Angrygps: 93%
Android system: 5%
Device Idle: 2%
Does anyone know why Angrygps cost so much battery?
I did tried GPS function after flash the rom, but not for long time. This batter usage does shock me.
I tried to google this problem, did not find similar questions.
Thanks

Not sure if this has any relationship to the ROM, so I post here.
can any P1000 user with HEMES ROM to do a quick test as follow:
charge to 100% battery
open any software wich use GPS, I use ANDROZIC..., for at least 30 minutes
Close the app
using your P1000 as usual
check battery usage sta in ---settings---applications---battery use, to check how much costed by AngryGPS
I think this may be a popular problem
why not post it here:

Thanks again, has put there
Yeah mate development section is for development. Funny story, questions section is for questions not pertaining to the technical development of a ROM/firmware/kernel ect.
Also I would suggest having a read through the overcome thread. I think about page 80 or so has some really helpful stuff on GPS.
Good luck.
Also I call bull**** that you Googled it... 1 search and I got dozens of results!!

[Question]Which rom for me? Need suggestion

Hi all bros,
I am a new in town with this device.
Please give me your suggestion about which rom that optimized for battery. My 970 only lasts around 16hrs. I am also a normal user that doesn't tweat or OC orsomething like that, thanks
Zeus rom seems to be the wise choice for you.
if you dont want your hands dirty, flash the official version. it should give you more than a day for normal usage.
I Think if you just want your battery life longer than you should read this thread:

First off, welcome to XDA. It is best to go through the Development section and read up on the various ROMs offered, then make your own decision. Don't flash anything until you understand what you're doing.
These kind of 'best ROM threads are always closed, as they can lead to competition and arguments.

Looking for Battery Information

Hey XDA,
I am trying to see what has a long battery life Sense with 4.4 KitKat or GPE 4.4. Pictures would be nice. I feel like my when I use the GPE my battery runs out faster as compared to Sense. Please post pictures if possible. I'm talking 100% Stock
Thanks

please don't start 2 threads for the same question: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2635386
and you should posted in this thread
btw it was 4 thread below yours in general section, search a bit next time please.
@Aktheprodigy
Just so you know, I've deleted the thread you made in General as it's a duplicate of this thread. Also, as mentioned above, the battery stats thread is the more suitable place for your request so I'll close this thread

Mosr amazing battery life cycle I've ever had!!

IllOkay folks, first of all I would like to mention that I did a bit of a search and couldn't find a similar thread. So I made one. Actually this morning I charged my device like I usually do. But the unusual thing is that the battery lasted for so long it had me drop my jaw... We are talking about almost 7 hours of SoT with internet browsing, texting,a bit of music and gaming!!! I just had to share this with the community.
I should mention that all this happened thanks to the amazing developers at XDA. I am running 5.1 boost pop coupled with code blue kernel. F2FS + Undervolted CPU. It's buttery smooth with fantastic battery. Thanks devs!
I'll add screen shots soon. I am on mobile
Although it's nice you've had such a great battery-cycle, there are (of course) battery threads here, like
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509132 . I think you should post it there, or leave a 'thanks-message' in the threads of the devs you praise, instead of creating a whole new thread.
