Bliss is one of the most highly customizable roms that you can install on your mobile device as well as your PC, and we hope you have a truly blissful experience.
Bliss-decaf is AOSP based, while Bliss-caf is CAF based, with some features added in from various roms, and we will continue to add more as they become available. Our PC builds will have a few PC centric extras added in to help with application compatibility, mouse integration, keyboard shortcuts, tc. And we have added a few little linux throwbacks like bash and busybox commands, integrated Terminal and much more.

Bliss-x86 comes with OpenGapps built in (Because there is no way for us to use a recovery on a PC) For all mobile devices and tablets, we recommend using any of the following sets of GApps:

Please familiarize yourself with flashing and custom rom use before attempting to flash the rom.
Please make sure you download the correct version of Bliss for your specific device. The links are labeled clearly.
FIRST CHECK SECOND POST - Make sure your device doesn't have any special instructions.
Make sure you are rooted.
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Bliss Rom & the latest GApps package.
Boot into recovery.
Backup your current ROM
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash Bliss Rom
Flash Google Apps package (for 7.1!) *NO NEED TO FLASH ROOT, SUPERSU IS INCLUDED*
First boot may take up to 10 minutes. This is due to Gapps and root optimization.
If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you and our team quite some time.
-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
-You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

1) Camera is much better than on another Roms(Nitrogen).:good:
2) Rom is not fully translated...(70-75%,not critical for me,but...)
3) Unfortumately,Supersu is absent,had to install it manually.
4) Root explorer(4.0.7) doesn't want to work,eating Ram(gave su permission to it)(have to use ES explorer,working great...)
5) can use lockscreen,but when wanna to setup it(make pattern unvisible,get FC...
NO more bugs could find. Rom is great! Thank you very much!

Can we us dynamic Gapps instead of open Gapps?
A few questions since my latest experience with BlissROM was BlissPop 20150827 for the XZ Ultra:
1. Is there a setting for dual column Dashboard? (BlissPop automatically switched to dual columns when 240 DPI was selected but the screenshots in this thread shows just a single column - hence me asking.)
2. The tablet mode showed in the screenshots is enabled at what DPI or is there a setting for switching it on?
3. Is StickMount working properly, i.e. does it mount a USB-OTG flash drive as 'UsbStorage' so Kodi can access it? (This question is because I use Kodi with a media library on a couple of flash drives and some kernels do the mounting in a way that StickMount can't mount it in a Kodi accessible way.)
The ROM looks really interesting and the aforementioned BlissPop was my daily driver for several months and it was also the ROM I used when I went from KitKat to Lollipop back in early 2015.
I would also like to make a humble request to @ajmsg78 if it is OK for him to make a Helium version of the ROM. Thank you very much in advance.

1) There isn't any dual column setting as of now. But the ROM supports OMS, hence substratum can be used to for dual settings.
2) They are from an actual tablet lol.
3) No idea, I don't use StickMount.

I was modified updater-script, and tried this ROM on my HELIUM, and everything (except last two core) working normally, and good.

Check if Settings have SU permissions. I have experienced FCs sometimes on different ROMs if I let it go a period without granting SU (it tend to show up a prompt sometimes after boot and it is usually related to the SELinux mode switch - the FCs stop when Settings have its permission granted).

I can not download this rom for my nexus 4 (mako). My friend bought nexus 6 and i installed your ROM on his phone (because of CM13 theme engine) nexus 6 has Amoled screen so it can save battery if display full black on that kind of screen. I liked features of this rom and wanted to install on my nexus 4 (currently using chroma 6.0.1) I was glad that this rom is available for nexus 4 too Oh and you created this thread today? wow that's luck

So I assume there aren't official mako nightlies yet? Couldn't find anything on the download.blissrom.com and the nightlies website is down (gives error 404)

How is the battery life? Better than Chroma 6.0.1?
I can't seem to be able to sync my gmail contacts. There are simply no contacts shown in the dialer or the Contacts app. I don't know how to deal with this, has anyone come across this issue?
Is the latest mako build missing? I saw there are Feb 17th ROMs out there for other devices, but latest version for N4 is dated by Feb 7th

Never tried Chroma but battery life is similar to other Roms. I was using stock Android 6.0 till now.

AdAway is a system rom but I can't find it in option. Someone know where is it ?

The funny thing is I tried a couple of other MM Roms and the same issue still persisted. Signed in on setup with my gmail and when opened the dialer there were no contacts. Once tried to sign in in the Contacts app it said that username is already in use. Went in account setting tapped on Sync Now and still nothing. Back to LP for me now until I can resolve this somehow..

-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.

-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.

So, I'm really really excited to share with you all that I have successfully installed Bliss Rom in my Yu Yureka.
I followed the instructions and Fully wiped the mobile. (FYI I have TWRP 2.8.7.0 Recovery Installed I was using the latest CM12.1 Nightly before I installed the Rom) I did a wipe of Dalvik-Cache and System just to be sure and Immediately flashed the Open GApps PICO package I downloaded from the above link. Restarted the Phone and found that the new Bliss boot animation which is quite awesome. It took 3 mins for the device to boot up and it started optimising apps right away. The optimization process was blazing fast except for the Google Play Services optimization which took a couple of mins to complete. After finishing the optimization process, the ROM greets you with the setup wizard. (don't freak out if your sims are not detected immediately, it tends to take some time to get the sims to start up, which is a first time only thing). After the setup Process, you'll keep your fingers and the most buttery smooth ROM ever made for our YU YUREKA, literally speaking. There's a lot of testing to be done and I will post the screenshots in the next post and a deep review in a day.
Hats off and salute to the ever awesome DEV for this amazing ROM. Loving it even from the first impressions. Thank You.

We missed you, I was halfhearted, after reading the G+ post that Bliss Team will be supporting on the listed devices on that page, of which Yureka was not part of.
But today its a very pleasant surprise to see an Official release of Bliss!

Fail to revert back to lollipop
after using it for a while. I decided to revert back using twrp backup. But when I hit restore, a message arrived saying read mode only.. Any help...

launcher not opening
flashed yesterday and i find this weird bug.. the default launcher is not opening, i tried rebooting but its just not running after the boot...not able to access app menu or anything.. even no wallpaper just black screen.. tried to install 3rd party launcher too... and tried to set them as default launcher but that too not working... not able to set up or change default launcher at home section in settings.. please tell me what to do...
Been using it for the second day. Performed a full wipe. ROM is good but cannot change network mode. This is the only bug I have found so far. The proximity wake feature is a cool one and working fine.
Really looking forward to a fix for network mode change bug. And yeah, thanks for this awesome ROM
Update - Phone freezes sometime, data and wifi not working as expected (i was using SOKP rom previously), cannot backup apps even with the latest release of Titanium backup, overall not fit for daily use. Looking forward to updates
I have using this rom some bugs are found
1. Touch not good
2. Google keyboard not works properly its hanging
3. Lock screen not working properly
4. Screeen automatically off
5. Recent menu open again and again
6. Hanging problm phone fully hannged n black screen
7. Battry draining problm optimization feature not working
flashed with open gapps pico. it optimized apps then stopped showing starting apps.. again formated and flashed same problem. is it a gapps problem or something else???
So I flashed twice this ROM at first I flashed over cm12.1 blisspop ROM only I started facing lots of lag and battery sometimes show fully charge but that ain't true . battery icon on status bar show charging symbol even if charger is not connect after doing certain reboot it solved but problem arise again n again so I contacted @Men_in_black007 on fb about problem he told to do clean flash so I did after flashing again (clean flash) it is working little bit smoothly but their are certain bug still. After each restart it start optimizing app around 25-35 apps but it complete within a minute but still each time you restart you face this optimizing app issue and that battery bug which I told when I flash this over cm12.1 still appears one time uptill now but rebooting solve that problem and network mode bug as mention by members . Rest is awesome ROM is very smooth . flashed pico gapps working perfectly
Gallery App Bug
There is a bug in Gallery app, The gallery app does not work. The images are not displayed. I tried using Google Photo's , but that too has the same issue.
I flashed BlissPop followed by open pico gapps in ma phone. However Im stuck with some issues. The phone keeps rebooting during the initial setup for unknown reasons. I followed the above mentioned instructions yet unable to use the GUI. Is it a bug? Or is it a fault on ma side? Please help me out.

Is it rebooting at YU logo ? If yes, then wipe everything and flash again.

There was no test for your model, there will be some errors because Bliss and CM is still implementing many things.

Você deve estar com o recovery desatualizado e muitos usuários que usam cwm está tendo problemas na instalação dos gapps,atualize seu recovery se for twrp ou troque pelo twrp se for cwm.
É regra aqui no XDA postar somente em inglês.
You must be outdated recovery and many users who use cwm are having problems installing the gapps update your recovery if TWRP or replace for the TWRP if it is cwm.
It is rule here at XDA write in English only.

Everything is working flawless until now. SIM card works perfect (calls, sms). There is a lot of lacking customization options but that's not important, I know you are going to add all of them step by step. I'm so happy till now, I restored some backups and no problem even. I'm installing and testing all my regular apps and no problem at all!

clean flash on my i9192 and so far everything looks good...sims are working. As usual many bugs from CM still present but that will be fixed eventually....thanks again for your beautiful customization of the ROM....

I am very glad that the Roma are you satisfying but remembering that the credits are not only mine, a lot of people that working hard for the Roma go to you.
It has also the k2wl, sekil among other devs that without them could not have many or any custom ROM for our devices.

-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.

-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
-You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

first, thank you very much for working on alternative ROMs for our Note 3! Especially nice to see a customizable version of CM13 coming! =)
Maybe I missed it in the main post, but can you add a "What's working" and "What isn't"? Last thing I heard about SantoshM, RIL wasn't working on the CM13 port. Is this fixed by now? What about fingerprint?

Why you're doing this? There're 2 cm13 clones for RN3Pro with the same problems. It's useless with these bugs... It's better to have a lot of ROMs, but only when they're working one

The rom is not even stable now. So,It is not possible to support IR blaster and finger print scanner now. and finger print scanner will never work with this roms I think.

I didn't mean that it will definitely never work or it is impossible to make it working. @Santhosh M may support fingerprint in the near future, but first it is impotent to make the ROM more stable so that we can use it without any major bugs as he told here. This builds are based on his device tree. So, fingerprint will work only when he will make it working.

I guess they probably want to reserve a rom for themselves.
Xda doesn't allow holder threads or threads with no download links. And they want to ensure that they are the maintainer of some particular rom, whether it is rr or bliss. If they wait for cm13 to get stable, someone might start rr/bliss thread and become the maintainer.
This is just my reasoning into why this is happening even after your constant requests to desist.
Edit - My suggestion would be to not provide a public download link. Only provide links to enthusiastic testers who have time on their hand and don't mind flashing builds with no calling or such.

Know Issues:
Only certain camera apps seem to work. OpenCamera is included with the build, but you can only video record up to 1080. Anything higher will break. Due to the fact that bliss doesn't use ffmpeg, there might be issues with certain codecs and in certain apps. Everything else seems to work great, you can take great pics. The media_codecs still need some more tweaking though. There possibly might be issues with with other apps dealing with the codec issue. Ie snapchat.

Make sure you're using DrakenFx's A25 boot stack if you want to install bliss or my aosp-caf rom.

Well well well. Given that I've used quite a few ROMs and kernels (Tootsie Pop) on my G3 from Sir aclegg2011 I'm pleased to do so on the ZTE. Missed out on RR though.

Can someone with this installed please let us know if it runs smooth on Daydream?
You need to put it in the viewer to really tell. I tried the latest LineageOS, but it was super choppy and jittery to the point of nausea.
How is sound? Does it need the sound patch?

I'm definitely trying this today. Your work with RR was absolutely splendid and I think you for introducing me to that rom. I've been on it since day one, even if my fingers get fla****chy I always come back to RR. With that said, I'm sure you put the same passion into this one. Thanks for sharing
