Moto G 2nd Generation in boot loop - Moto G 2014 LTE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I know that is subject isn't new but I've tried several troubleshooting and none works fine to me.
My wife's Moto G2 2nd gen. is in boot loop in the following scenarios:
1 - Before crashing, it was on Android Lollipop 5.1
2 - She put the device to charge and going to sleep, when she woke up the android was updating. She kept the Moto G2 updating then when she was seein' after some hours the smartphone was in the Motorola logo screen (Boot loop).
I've tried so many solutions but no one works, include the following:
1 - I tried to enter to Recovery Mode but when I do that, the Moto G2 come back to Motorola logo screen.
2 - I unlocked bootloader and tried to reinstall 2 original ROM, the Lollipop 5.0.2 and 6.0 Marshmallow and 1 custom ROM.
All tentatives the Moto G2 come back to Motorola logo Screen.
I following some tutorials from here but I didn't have success. Has anyone in a similar situation, and how you fix it the smartphone?

[Q] How do unbrick in Moto x 2014 (snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC)?

I did downgrade to 4.4.4 and updated via OTA for 5.0! The phone died. Not enter into fastboot and only one green LED lights up. Already searched several tutorials a solution to this, but I can not. Already tried using blankflash, also tried using tools for processor and always has an error I do not understand. Please help! :crying:
As of now, there is no way to reflash the bootloader/recover from a hard brick.

We don't have yet the files for blankflash our Moto X 2014.
I opened this thread in motorolaforums to request the files: https://forums.motorola.com/posts/b6cb5537f5
You can post there to push the thread.

Moto X (1st Gen.) XT1049 Stuck in boot loop. Need Help.

My stock, unrooted Republic Wireless Moto X decided that it no longer wanted to boot into android after I powered it down to charge. I can get into fastboot but none of the options work except "Barcodes". "Recovery" gives me the error "Boot up failed." and the other options just cause the phone to restart. Please help.
Same problem exactly on moto x first gen & moto g first gen. Republic wireless both. Must've been an update that went terribly wrong. Got rid of the moto g, but the x i was hoping to keep. Any help out there?

Moto G 2nd Gen ( XT1068) hard bricked: neither turning on, nor opened by blankflash

One morning i restarted my phone( Moto G 2nd gen.) with Android Marshmallow because it went slow, but after that it restarted in fastboot mode when i pressed the power on button. Normal startup or recovery were also not working.
I checked this forum, then unlocked the bootloader and downgraded to Android 4.4.4 . My phone operated well, then at night it started asking for lollipop update again and again, i allowed for OTA update (that was my biggest mistake), and after downloading the data and during update, my phone went off and didn't start again.
Although the indicator light glows solid for sometime when connected to wall charger or to PC via USB cable.
I have tried blankflash, ADB and fastboot utility, Volume down + Power combination, pressing power button for over 120 seconds, but all in vain.....
Please suggest me a way to solve this problems, i have important data in my phone and i want to save those too.
Welcome to the hardbrick club ^^
They all did the same mistake like you did. When you go throught the motoG Threads you will see all did the same.
The only solution is a clean flash what is not given from motorola for moto g2. The only existing is for moto g what did not work for our phones
Feel blessed, you don't have to use moto g anymore.

I tried with blankflash which supports android 4.4 but not 5.0, so it must be a requiring MBM-CI 5.0 ? is it available or any expected month of arrival?

. I wish I could say it was, but unfortunately Motorola won't release this file. There have been some serious attempts to solve this problem but none have succeeded.. As far as I know the only way to fix this problem is by getting a new motherboard..
Hellow

if you from another region then need to wait for blank flash zip
There are some methods to extract the partition layouts...one can be using dd cloning & extracting img files...another can be through B2bSupportLg Tool, also calleld BoardDiag. It does have MSM8226 chipset option, but that device is W7 G2MDS. Take a working Moto G 2014 from someone, ask them to use this tool to extract the partition schemes, then you'll get .mbn files, especially prog_emmc_filehorse_msm8226.mbn . Use that to dump into the bricked device using either QFIL Tool or use this blankflash tool, replace it's singleimage files with the one you got, then execute blank-flash.bat.
Also I had some emmc prog firehorse files, all 4 related to 8x26...You can try those & confirm me if they work or not

Moto G 2nd Gen stuck in bootloop a couple days after rooted

So i successfully rooted my Moto G 2nd Gen using KingRoot. Not too long after i had finished downloading Adblocker, a messaged popped up saying i had to "reboot" the phone and that's exactly what i ended up doing. That's when the phone wouldn't boot
.........later, after a bit of research i had found that my phone was stuck in a bootloop.
So i took it to Wind (the company i'm with) and without knowing that the phone was rooted, they told me that they could fix it only if i bring the receipt. I purchased this phone on August 14, 2015, the one year warranty still stands. But the receipt was long gone. No receipt, no warranty service.
I went back to the store where i bought the phone....but they can't seem to pull up the receipt. They said because it's been almost a year since i bought the phone.
Anyways, i am here for help. The phone is in a bootloop and not only that but USB Debugging is not on (i believe). I don't remember turning it on. But i want you guys to understand that I AM A NEWBIE.
I also tried to Factory reset it from Recovery but that didn't help. Btw, since i did a factory reset is the phone still rooted? Isn't KingRoot supposed to be deleted from the factory reset?
One more thing, the phone is a Moto G 2nd Gen, Model: XT1064 (if that helps).
Please Help.
After this i don't thing i will ever root another phone again.

how to unbrick my moto g2 2014

I have installed custom rom 4.4.4 on moto g2 but after some time i have got an ota update of 5.0 lollipop update & when i have downloaded that update & installed it & after the installation process, when my mobile was restarted, then it shows completely blank screen & it is not switching on neither it shows fastboot mode. Pls help me for resolving this issue.
Try holding the Power+VolumeDown button for a few minutes and see if you can enter Fastboot then. If nothing happens, see if the phone is getting charged.
Try holding the buttons again while the phone is plugged in. Hold the buttons till the notification light goes off and stays in that state (it might turn off and back on a couple of times). Then you might be able to get to fastboot mode. Hope this helps
Excuse my English, I used google translator:
It happened to me for three days with my Moto G XT1069 2 and is happening with hundreds of consumers in Brazil. Motorola is not responsible and their authorized workshops are charging about $ 60 for the device's release. There is a group in a community on Facebook striving for a solution, but so far without success, since they require the release of the MBM CI 5.0 by Motorola.
The technical support company claims to downgrade to Android 4.4.4 KitKat, it is necessary to unlock the bootloader, procedure provided by the company's website, but with warnings that may occur problems with the device. But the problem occurs only at the time of update 4.4.4 KitKat for Lollypop 5 via OTA and not the implementation of the bootloader unlock.
In my opinion Motorola does have full responsabidade by default, because in addition to offering unlocking the bootloader and + firmware Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
I think the way is to report and put pressure on the company and wait for satisfactory results. Meanwhile my Moto G 2 is in "induced coma" waiting for a miracle
