[APP] All-In-One Gesture - Huawei Mate 9 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hey guys, just wanna share an app that I found to be very useful.
I always wanted to have a lock screen key at navbar so that I can lessen my power button usage while still able to lock screen at any moment. And also camera shortcut that allows me to launch camera anytime.
Now I can swipe from edge or double tap navbar to lock the screen, I can long press back button to launch camera as well.
For those that are interested: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phoenixstudios.aiogestures
Note: Root is required

Yea I think that is the issue. I forgot to mentioned on the first post. You have to root your phone to use its full functionality.

Isn't this no different then long pressing finger scanner to wake which does the same thing when its set up

If its an app enabling the feature, i would assume it also takes a hit on battery life....
how are u guys noticing drain?

Yea me too.. works great
I don't notice any significant drain on battery. You're right in that it is similar to tapping the fingerprint sensor, however if I have it laying flat on a table and just want to quickly check time or notifications, this is a convenient way to do it

Works good for me. Especially when in the car when its in a car mount

Thanks, works great for me as well in those custom ROMs that don't have it enabled.
The app does indeed wake the screen up on my Nexus 6P but it wouldn't let me log in without entering the device password. Wouldn't let me go in with the fingerprint.
I'm on 6P running N with systemless root. Installed, opened app, enabled, and it immediately worked without a reboot or anything. Great work.
@blakey22 Two questions...
1) How come the screen doesn't turn on when you double tap the bottom or top portion of the screen?
2) Is the screen actually on when this app is enabled?

ElementalX kernel has several options for waking and putting the phone to sleep without an app. I use double tap to wake and sweep to sleep.

Yes it is but only with root and nova Launcher as far as I know. That's what I'm using right now

Yes, rooted is ok.. But if I can use new nexus launcher and mod to enable double tap to sleep, it would be awesome with Nexus 6P

If you are using Xposed and Gravitybox, it has an option to double tap the Statusbar to sleep.
Double tap to wake after reboot is not working anymore on Oreo 8.0.0
Would be awesome if this could be fixed.

I have never gotten them to work after flashing ElementalX. Do you have to enable them or something?

Yes, you either set the "Gestures" up during the initial setup in the Aroma installer (first time), or you can use flar2's kernel manager which is great. If you just blew through the initial setup and left the kernel defaults, I'm sure you can delete the Aroma settings file and then re-flash the kernel to get the options again. Better yet, try out EXKM.

EMUI 4 Lock Screen

If anyone can help:
I would like to change (or at least try) the EMUI4 default lockscreen - magazine. Does anyone know, firstly if this is possible, and secondly, what files do I have to modify?
Thanks in Advance!

Thanks, but I was talking about changing the code. If I did of what you said on the previous post, I wouldn't be able to get any notifications on the lockscreen.

So if i understand you correctly you want Magazine lock with notifications !!
If so it does work as mine is set like that.

Not exactly. In order to get all the notifications on this phone, you have to use the magazine. I wanted to make (or modify an existing one - even the magazine) lockscreen that would show all the notifications, with some shortcuts or even a time or weather widget, compatible with an s view case.
The simplest thing would be to transfer the displayed time on the upper half of the screen.
Ok I see, not sure In that case.

The only way I can think is clearing security credentials and using a third party lock screen. I did the same with my p8lite to remove stick lock screen. I tried with p9lite and i couldn't remove lock screen even when clearing credentials.

Android N official fingerprint scanner problem...

Does anyone have problem using fingerprint to unlock the screen??
I dont really like locking screen using power button but rather use gesture and apps. After updating to Android N EVA-L19C626B320 Official. I cannot normally unlock the screen like before. It keeps asking for password every single time.
EXCEPT when I use power button to lock the phone.
Any idea?

It's normal. Since it not a "user (you)" action but an "admin (you by an app)" action, the system protects your data. You'll not be able to "fix" this since it's supposed to work like this.

I found out that Nova launcher let the choice to the user how to lock the screen :
By administrator (you won't be able to use fingerprint scanner to unlock)
By displaying a black screen while waiting for the phone to go in sleep mode (you will be able to use fingerprint scanner to unlock)

Yeah I just contact Nova's developer and they claim to be an issue now.
"Unfortunately this is a known issue in which there is a pop-up window within Nova that tells you about this and that there is a work around if you are rooted. Unfortunately there's no native work around if you're not rooted, however, you can go to the Google Play Store and purchase Screen Lock Pro(this app is not ours) and you can use it as a work around for this issue as well."
I'm having fingerprint problems too. It does not let me set up a new fingerprint anymore and doesn't work in any situation. Worked perfectly since 1 day ago. Using the beta 7.0 android... Any tips?

Your problem is a bit troublesome. Try reset?
I tried to reset, but it still does the same. I did a backup restore and didn't try to use the fingerprint before that. I'll try again tomorrow and see what happens.
Still no hope of fixing the issue din
You need to disable smart unlock. Go to Settings>Security>Trusted Agents disable any smart unlock enabled.
Additional: If you're using Greenify you must enable the "Alternate Screen Off Mode"

Did you find any solution? I have the same issue
If you have root there are two apps that I know of that work perfectly for locking the screen through software:
-->Gesture Control, works very well, just assign any gesture to screen off.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodmooddroid.gesturecontrol&hl=de
and
-->Boeffla Screen off, has a slight delay between pressing the button and the screen actually locking, ~1sec nothing bad, but otherwise works very well. Also you can assign this app as an "assist app" meaning your long press home button becomes your screen off button
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.andip71.screenoff&hl=de
If you don't have root I guess this would be a reason to go for it!

Hm but nova gestures only work when you're on one of the nova homescreens. My methods work everywhere at all times. I guess that's personal preference but I wouldn't say nova is better...

No fingerprint authentication after double tap screen off/lock

Hey guys
Why fingerprint unlock doesnt work after double tap to screen lock/off? Is there any way to achieve that. Everytime u double tap to make screen off , the next time u wake ur phone using fingerprint, it just ask for password. So u r stuck with only one option to press power button then apply fingerprint.
I hate pressing buttons:crying:
