Mi Mix Themes - Xiaomi Mi MIX Questions & Answers

So, I haven't rooted my Mi Mix yet, haven't seen much of a reason to, but I know I will eventually. I received mine stock, so I had to install Google services. I like the themes on the phone, but is there a way I can buy new themes? And when the phone gets rooted ill install epic rom, is the theme store on epic?

Epic ROM has the global theme store in which all themes are free. The Chinese theme store on the Chinese ROMs have a bigger amount of themes and also has themes that are paid. You can also obtain themes from the MIUI Forum. Remember if you do get themes from outside the theme store, then you need to have a designer account to apply them. You can also use the MIUI 8 Tweaks module to bypass the designer account requirement for third party themes.

Droid Notify MIUI Theme

A lot of people are using Droid Notify and I'm sure that there are some people(like me) that don't really like the dark themes on Play Store.
This is a theme based on the MIUI interface. Just download the APK and install it.

MiUi new theming policy

http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/new-miui-theme-policy-effective-from-may-1-2013.19973/
Important notice from Xiaomi
As more and more themes become developed for MIUI, we need to further ensure the copyrights of the designers to continue an environment conducive to both MIUI and the designers. Furthermore, as we are working on a platform to allow international designers to get paid for their theme designs, this new policy will help to protect the designer's design and instigate more quality themes . To do so, MIUI has decided to change some of the theme policies.
Please note, as of May 1st, the following policy will be fully enforced: All MIUI themes and theme components, in mtz file format, will need to be uploaded onto the MIUI themes (upload via designer.xiaomi.com). Any MIUI theme and theme components (i.e. download from forums, websites or other sources) that does not get uploaded into the MIUI theme apk, can no longer be applied onto the MIUI ROM. To specify, components in an mtz file format can include:
- Theme
- Lockscreen
- Icon
- Font
- Boot animation
- Avatars
If you are a designer and have current themes you want to share after May 1st please sign up for a designer.xiaomi.com account and upload your themes to the MIUI Themes apk.
I'm sorry I could be very off on this but to me this sounds like they are going to digitally sign themes and block sideloading

Perhaps. I doubt it will stop people, they'll just find workarounds & exploits.

Has any work around been found yet?
I remember at some point, can't remember when, maybe when V4 was still a little new, so I had a SGS2 at the time, they just introduced the forced login to their Xiaomi account to apply themes, even free ones.
Well, some modified versions of the theme apk appeared quite quickly to allow to apply them without login in.
So I guess something will be done about that too.
I've owned a couple of smartphones, but there has never been official support for all these devices I've owned. There was a shabby port for i9000 but it sucked and was borked.
Not to mention it comes in only a few languages.
So what is MIUI?
Just goes to shoe what kind of company MIUI is, I hope they continue carrying on what they're doing, then miui users will certainly see what most of saw a long time ago! Selfish thieves.

Standard and availability of themes in the UK

I've had my S6 almost from day 1. I'm a 40 something male in the UK and have yet to see a theme in the theme store I'd want to use. A few reasons why:
1) why in the UK do I only see free themes, where are the marginally better paid for themes that are advertised on the web ?
2) why are the themes largely aimed at children? pinks, gummy bears, carousels in pink?!?! for goodness sake Samsung give the more mature / grown up user a theme they won't be embarrassed to use !!
3) the themes that I would consider using at a push to alleviate the boredom of the default screen seem to largely have appalling icons. Are the theme developers all teenage kids ??
All I want is something "grownup", professional looking. Samsung why do you make it so hard for the more mature user ?!?!

Try Dark material theme from Cambunch which has stock Android icons or Weyo/Cherry Red themes from Hiten Soni.
U can always use 3rd party launchers like Apex or Nova launcher and use any kind of icon packs that suit you in the Play Store. 3rd party launchers are much better than stock S6 TW launcher!
That's what most of us

Well there are many good themes available now at Samsung Store
Samsung is yet to add support for paid theme for Europe & many other countries which they are working on for now paid themes are only there for 6 countries
If you want u can always use some VPN app and purchase themes from say country like USA for example
Btw for all the query i suggest u to post in Q&A there it ll have more users see & reply

ASUS ROG Theme store?

Good day, is there such a thing a theme store(e.g. galaxy store on samsung or theme store on the RAZER) for ASUS/ROG phones?
I see two pre-installed 'themes' that already come with the phone, but would like more options (fonts, themes, wallpaper etc.
Thank you

Question MIUI 12 theme for S21 Ultra on Hex Installer

I'm going to order an S21 Ultra, but I have always preferred other OS skins, particularly MIUI. I know how Hex Installer lets you change the themes of Samsung devices to get themes for Pixel Experience and OxygenOS, so I was wondering if there are themes out there for MIUI 12 that I could install on my S21 Ultra. If so, could you please link them below! In any of these, are you able to change the app drawer to scroll vertically?

Maybe it's better that you search the Galaxy store themes yourself, as there are many different themes available.
