Can anyone make a Huawei P9 Lite Emui 4.1 port, for this device?
Why do you need to port Emui 4.1 from P9 lite if there is a working version that is from Vodafone location of this phone which works on eu version too. You can find that in htcmania forums.

You can also use emui 4.1.2 device huawei y6II that is rom CAM-L21C10B141 of January 3 or OTA-CAM-L21C464B151 of December 28 that although it says ota there is rom full.

It can be used in p8 lite with the updateappflasher method but the problem is that these rom has no option to pass apk to the sd card you have to use an apk to do this.
Did anyone know when Honor 5c aka 7 lite eu versions will get andorid N and did Nem-L21 versions will have it oficial not a rom from other posts?

Being a 2017 smartphone version, I think at least we should recieve the 2017 version of Android[emoji1] The question is 'when'.

in middle east the update is awful , when i restore the backup from cris my device build number had been change to lx1 it was la1 so my device get updated to fast , so i hope we will get O as soon as possible

Yesterday I have already written this, but is has disappeared anyhow.
I know that Android 8 on Honor 6x will come. Both devices have the same system. If Android 8 should not come for the PRA, I can port it quite simply from 6x.
Result: We get it!

So, why we had not receive, and we'll never receive, the 5.1 update...?
I'm not so sure that the P8 Lite 2017 will recive the Android 8 update.
Huawei's policy about updates is pretty clear: they don't guarantee updates to newer Android versions but only patches for 2 years.
I really hope we'll receive Oreo, but I'm pretty sceptic until Huawei will not officially announce it.

I had already read this article, and it says "L’aggiornamento dovrebbe quasi sicuramente (ancora nessuna ufficialità) arrivare per:" (for non-italian speakers: "The update it's almost sure (still not official) to arrive for:") , this is why I'm still sceptical about it... :fingers-crossed:

A few members in the Honor 6X forum met up with Honor/Huawei representatives in Delhi in August and they confirmed that the 6X will receive Android Oreo/EMUI 6 by the end of 2017/ January 2018 at the latest. So good news for us!
I asked Huawei about this on Facebook and they said there's no info available yet. But we should get it, it's a 2017 device, that already shipped with nougat.
So today I asked Huawei about Huawei GR3 2017 being updated to EMUI 8 and they confirmed that it'll get the update in September
Since this device is named by the country it's in it's safe to assume that these are getting the update too:
Huawei GR3 2017
Honor 8 Lite
Huawei P8 Lite 2017

But I don't know if it is suitable to install as a daily driver??

The rollout has started, i have received OTA to Oreo b364. I am on full stock, and my phone is a p8 lite 2017 free from spain.
I received it too. I have PRA-LX1 (P9 Lite 2017) from Vodafone Greece. Its the official and stable version!

My friends on p30 lite have, some lite devixe aleready have we not i will never buy huawei phone again!

It only has versions for China and India models of P20 Pro.
Anybody know the exact date of emui 10 update? Mybe when is launching android 11 we will get emui 10??

Onze ontwikkelaars zijn inderdaad al begonnen met het uitrollen van deze android versie naar sommige Huawei toestellen.
Alleen is het helaas niet mogelijk om de update tegelijkertijd naar alle toestellen te pushen aangezien de update per IMEI nummer wordt gestuurd. Onze ontwikkelaars beginnen deze Android-versie in mei uit te rollen naar de P20 Pro-apparaten.
Ik hoop u hiermee voldoende te hebben geïnformeerd.

If anyone curious in trying out the latest 10.0.159 and not keen on waiting til mid June. You can check my post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=82469121&postcount=3 which I got it working but don't follow that droidtips site, Huawei p20 pro doesn't have sdcard.

Now im updating my p20 pro. On HiSuite it shows Emui 10.0.0.161 . I couldn't find any update in system settings but in HiCare and HiSuite you can see the warning for 10.0.0.161

Yes, that's my fault. It must be Support app, not HiCare.
I received it a week ago, and switched back to emui 9 after a couple of days.
Battery consumption is HUGE, and fps drops in games as if you are on a low-end mobile
Hello everyone,
I have a P20 Pro CLT L09.
I am from Italy.
My girlfirend has just recieved the new update from EMUI 9.1 to EMUI 10.
Because of trouble with 9.1 I was on 9.0.
So yesterday i made the update to 9.1, becuas i thougt, that so I would also receive the 10.0 update.
But on the HiCare App and on the settings to update the Software, there stands, that I have the actually version of EMUI. And it is the 9.1.
How can I now upgrade to EMUI 10?

But there is no .xml file in the downlaoded firmware file, so I can not proceed the flash.
