[Q] Galaxy Note from China, can I buy it ?????

Hello every one
I am a french citizen living in China for one year
I am dreaming to buy a Galaxy Note, but I can buy it only in China, is someone can tell me if it will work properly when I will come back to France ?
If not is there a possibility to change the system at this moment?
Sorry but I am a novice in this matter
Thank you in advance for your help
Yes as long as you buy the GSM version. Not sure if there is some CDMA weird version for the Chinese market.
Agreed, look for the GSM bandwidths, I think the EU's on 900 and 1800.

Thank you very much for your help. i have a similar question
where are you folks planning to buy?
hey, I'm an American in Shanghai - I've been planning on buying one as well, but it seems the only choices are
a) buy a "brand-new" model, grey-market European version, 50% chance it's a refurb, but can offer local store warranty for ~3280rmb ($520 USD), or
b) buy an official, brand-new one for 4100rmb ($650 USD)
I almost pulled the trigger on the grey-market one, but it just kills me to know that I can get a brand-new NON-refurb for $500 USD through Newegg in the US... arrgh.

I bought mine on taobao from Shenzhen, 1 day shipping. I think that is safer than buyer from a store in shanghai, as the taobao sellers are selling loads of these phones.
Mine had been opened and made chinese even it is a european version. they changed some settings so you'll default to chinese language after a wipe/upgrade, and the samsung keyboard didn't work when I first good it. But after reinstalling european firmware everything is good.
I would stay away from official version because of price and I'm also not sure if all google services work on those.

yeah - the quote I had for ~3300 was from a taobao seller with a brick 'n mortar store. At least there's somewhere to go if the thing is borked. The "warranty" is through the store and not samsung, but at least they know where (taobao!) to source screens/mobo and claim to give 2 years replacement service should anything go wrong. still might pull the trigger on it... unless one of my friends goes back to the states in the next couple of weeks.
Did your seller offer any kind of warranty?

[Q]Shipping from Walmart online shop.

Hello everybody,
I wanted to ask you, especially someone from USA. I want to buy Nexus 7 32Gb (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Google-Ne...let-ASUS-1B32-with-Inland-ipad-folio/22409574) from this shop but it doesn't support Poland. So here is my question. Is there anybody who will pick up my package in USA and send it further to Poland by courier? I'll do all payments also including the cost of shipping package to Poland.
And if you agree with this proposition, I can give a small fee (15-20$). It's not sure yet, because my friend are going to USA and he can take it back too.
Also, for your info, I'll buy it in end of January/beginning of February
Thanks in advance
I suggest you let your friend get you one when he's over there, or find someone closer to buy from.
Sorry, but no transactions can take place on the forum.

Trying to find a Note 5 N920i 64gb with no luck

Long time lurker here.
I've been trying desperately to find the international version of the Note 5 (N920i) for a few weeks now. I was about ready to buy one on eBay but hesitated until I knew it was compatible with AT&T, then it seems that all the listings for the 64gb version of the phone disappeared.
I've looked on Amazon and Newegg for options, but no sellers are offering the 64gb variant of the phone (preferably black). There is one listing on Amazon, but it will be a cold day in hell before I drop $1,200 on a device that I will probably upgrade in ~18 months. Some website called World Wide Voltage offers one, but there are too many complaints about them taking orders for items that have no stock.
Does anyone here know of any reputable importers/resellers that I could go through?
Hi,
you can use only reliable online shops that may be (Telco). Many Australians have taken to purchasing handsets outright from online vendors sourcing stock from overseas.A parallel importer often means you you can choose phones which may not be available locally, at all or until later in the year.
I got mine from www.t-dimension.com. Bought from them twice, got my phone within 3 days from HK to Australia.
Hey, I want to buy 64gb version, but I dont find any on Ebay.. just the 9208 ... Only carriers version are available? I'm from ARgentina, but I have a friend in USA that will send it to me so...

Where to buy VIE-L09?

Are there any reliable online stores that I can buy from the U.S. that stock the VIE-L09? I don't want to really buy the AL-10 as it does not have NFC and force touch.

UK: where to buy the dual sim (L29) P20 pro?

I am in the UK and am considering getting a dual sim (the L29 variant) of the Huawei P20 Pro.
Do you know of any store that sells the dual sim version (sim-free, unlocked), and that would ship to the UK? A reputable foreign store that would ship to the UK would be OK, too (but if from outside the EU, I must make sure that VAT and custom duties don't end up costing too much).
The only UK online store I have found is www.clove.co.uk , which is out of stock at the moment.
I understand Three UK sells the dual sim, but the Three signal is too unreliable where I live.
EE, Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse don’t sell the dual sim (I asked their chat tech support).
I have found some supposedly UK-based vendors in the UK, that sell at £690 vs Clove’s £790. It seems like a good price, but maybe too good to be true? I’d think a reputable store would give me more peace of mind.
Amazon UK lists two external vendors which sell at the same price as clove, but some user reviews mention the box was opened and the phone covered in fingerprints (used phone? Customs inspection? A return?).
Thanks!
I bought mine from Amazon France. Got fed up of looking for it in the UK
Wondamobile. Com
Thank you, guys.
@qwerty1q, have you tried wondamobile? Does the price really include VAT and custom fees, as they say? You don't think buying from a UK store like clove is worth the extra £100 or so?
@dreamWille, do you remember if you bought it directly from Amazon France or from a third-party vendor listed there? Searching Amazon France now, I get a vendor that has an address listed in Spain.
Thank you, guys.

Bought my Mate 8 from them 2-3 years ago, no problems.

I always buy directly from Amazon because of warranty purposes.
Check all the Amazon sites (Germany, Spain's, France etc)
One of them should have it in stock
Currently have a note 8 duos, have someone willing to trade for a p20 pro single sim. Worth the trade? Honest opinions?
Model CLT-L04, what is the difference in models?

Don't hijack other people's discussions. Asking a question by opening a separate thread would be better. Also bear in mind you're more likely to hear pro-Huawei opinions on Huawei forums, and pro-Samsung opinion on Samsung forums, because, clearly, each forum will be more populated by people who have chosen that brand

Common sense, as well as explicit rules in most forums, suggest it is frowned upon to hijack discussions and bring them off topic. If this is not true of XDA, I apologise because I didn't know. I still dare question, however, what the benefit is of reading a discussion about where to buy an item to then find messages about how that item compares with another one.
Think you'd be lucky from a contract perspective.
SIM free maybe.
Try uSwitch they've got some nuts deals.
Or just buy my Oneplus 5 off me
