IF you Think The Rn4 Built quality is awesome .But Its Not - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Accessories

The chargerof rn4 get heated up quickly .
After a few days my adapter cant charge my phone
Its does only for a few minutes but after the time it stops. Xiaomi service center in kerala especially in ernakulam kochi is the worst . They take almost 1 week to replace .

What did you expext for 150$?

This topic is utterly weird. It's not even problem with the phone. Blame the charger brick, not phone! I have RN4 Global and it's great phone. Doesn't heat even little and battery life is very impressive. And if that's what you call cheap materials, I don't know what could make you happy. Phone made of sapphire and titanium?

the india local set is made of that kind of quality of material, the rest like singapore does not.

[Q] Would You Recommand the Z1?

Hello guys,what's up?
Im new to the forum, and i would really appreciate it if you help me make up my mind about buying the Z1,I've been reading about it and its features, watching videos and everything but still can't make up my mind as I have never met someone who has been using it and though I don't know how it works in real life.Is it really worth it?What kind of troubles can I face while using it? and the most important question,do you guys think that it's better than the Samsung Galaxy s4? in what way?
You have no idea how much i need your help guys,I ll be so greatful !
Peace
In my opinion it is a very good phone, it has amazing performance, good battery life, beatiful and structured ui, with good light the camera performs well (whit less light only in manuall mode), in my opinion beatiful design and in case of brightness and witheness the Display is fantastic, also the viewing angles are good but not perfect
Another aspect is that Sony has a good relationship with the dev. comunity (I Think) !!!
A littlebit annoying is the sensitive screen in case of scratches, but it is not that bad with some screen protectors xD
All in all it is a good phone with much better software than the sgs 4 ,in my opinion, also the metal frame feels very nice in comparrison to sgs 4´s platic and fake metal Frame More over it is water resistant (Very nice Feature)
All in all I can recommend it to you

Thank you so much for your reply,I agree with what you said, but do you think that what Sony offers can top some of the exclusive features of the sgs4?such as the air gesture, air view, eye control and the built in barometre and thermometre? Honnestly that s what standing in my way to get the z1,thinking that i ll miss all these exclisivities from the s4 not to mention that the s4 is rated to be a lot more reparable than Sony!
I can unserstand what you are saying, but I think these features aren´t necessary !!! I know a lot people using sgs 4 and simply nobody is using most of Samsungs special features !! In addition most of them aren´t working fine so you won´t be able to use the correctly xD oreover all those fetures are using battery so you are loosing a lot of (truly it is changable) !!!

The S4 isn't a bad phone but compared to the Z1, the S4 has a slower Snapdragon 600 processor and GPU, smaller battery, poor build quality (plastic back and frame)
All depends on your Budget though,
I've had Samsung phones for over 3 years now, let me tell you that most of the Samsung features are just gimmicks. You wont even use %75 of those things in your cell, unless you want to show off in front of your Iphone friends

I think, but i´am not sure, you will get two years of battery warranty by Sony, but only phones with bulit in battery like the z1 !!! And I heard that modern batteries will loose only 15 % of their capacity after a bit more than 1000 times of complet charging xD

I wouldn't say that the S4 is "poor build quality" just because it's made out of plastic. It's a less desirable material, but it's still selling well.
If you're getting a phone now, it would be foolish to get an S4 when its replacement is just around the corner. I wouldn't choose this phone unless you don't care about keeping up with the latest and greatest.
I would personally be stuck between the Z1, Nexus 5, and the Note 3.
Everyone knows that the Nexus 5 is the best bang for the buck. It's not a fancy phone, but it has some top-line specs at a low price point which makes this compelling to everyone.
The Note 3 is actually not much bigger physically against the Z1, but the screen size is a good .5 inches larger. You might not use the stylus as much as you think you would, but 3rd party development as well as accessory availability is much higher than any of the 3.
The Z1's selling point is the camera and body. Megapixels mean nothing, but it's got one of the best specs. Aluminum and glass body for the iPhone-like feel.

The battery of Xperia Z1 is so nice. I watched video with maximum voice. And I turned on the flashlight then take photos. The capacity of the z1 battery reduced slowly. The color of the photo taken by S4 is bright. But S4 was burning hot after playing games.
At the moment, the Z1 is right up there, just make sure you get a phone that is bootloader unlockable if you plan to in the future, i didn't like an idiot.
other alternatives are the note 3, LG N5 and the LG G2, all good phones and you most likely won't regret any purchases, I went with the Z1 as it's the right size for me, has a crazy camera and it's water proof, the pace of the phone is superb and it's build quality is top notch.
The choice is always yours tho m8 and it doesn't really matter what other people say, it's down to what you think in the end.
Looking back now, if i could have done it again, i might have given the note 3 another look, maybe even a glare
Forget the S4, it wasn't up to much when it came out, overheating issues, random reboots and a lot of phones simply just dying, at the time the HTC One for me anyway was the logical choice, still my favorite phone, albeit with a slightly slower processor, i'd even got as far to say that the One holds it's own with the newer batch, only problem is that when newer phones come out the One might feel dated in terms of performance.
You see I found them at almost the same price!

Umm,Im not so sure what "bootloader unlockable" means,is it about the ability to change roms and roots and stuff? (not much into this ) but it'd be so nice of you if you explain it more. The guy at the phone store did mention something about having to unlock the phone before he could sell it,is that it?
I appreciate your help dude!
Is any off-contract (full price) Z1 bootloader-unlockable? I assume the locked-down ones are carrier-subsidized...
I would have recommended the Z1 untill Sonys half-arsed 4.3 release ballsed-up the bluetooth stack making the phone useless in my car as I cannot use it now on hands-free................................

The guy at the store shouldn't really have to do anything with the phone to sell it, especially unlocking it. ?
Unlocking the bootloader gives you a bit more freedom to do what you want with the phone, so if you were to root it (BL unlock isn't required for root) and then you wanted to install a rom like Paranoid android or Cyanogen mod or any rom that requires a custom kernel then you will need to have the ability to unlock the handset, I personally can't unlock mine cos I stupidly went with a provider directly, also bare in mind that the bootloader unlock or not isn't anything to do with the sim being locked, they're not related.
If you have no plans to unlock the bootloader then i'm sure you'll love the Z1, i've had literally no problems with mine, everything is fast and stable (bar the odd random reboot which happens once a week if that) i'm still running 4.2 and it suits me quite well, I am rooted and I have exactly the right amount of mods installed that I would want from any other phone, also the pace of the phone is blistering so i don't really have a need to install custom kernels anyway and the CM based rom's are good but I never really stick with them for very long anyway, so not a deal breaker for me.
Just so you know, unlocking the bootloader will most likely void your warranty so be aware before you commit, rooting is reversible and won't touch your warranty, unless you send it to them rooted, just flash an FTF to revert back to normal.

How to fix xperia Z3+ heating issue

I just bought a new z3+ . when I playing games the temperature touches 70c .please help me to fix over heating issue
What version of android do you have? If it is 5.0 use Xperia Companion and update it to Marshmallow (Android 6). The heat problem is less on this version
There is sadly no solution. However its a great phone if you dont play games or use hd-videos.
70° !!!! This is too much bro.. I always play some games or gta san in max settings
And maximum temperature is between 45° - 48°
did not reach 50° or more

Would try that, but sadly no seller not even Sony themselves here give warranty for water damage, despite the phone being promoted as water proof.

You are already screwed. You should have read through the forums here on this piece of sh*t phone before you bought it. It has been out two years, now. I unfortunately bought it when it first came out, so eager to have the newest and best I bought it months before available in the US, international version "NO WARRANTY." I learned my lesson. Sony has all but turned their backs on this one. It's even hard to find any mention of it on Sony's website..

I would've been screwed but luck favored me, I sent my Z3+ back to seller for warranty due to the overheating and white spots on screen that appeared some time ago, the seller couldn't fix it nor could he replace it so he gave me my money back, a win in my book.
I used this to buy a new phone something recommended to me Xiaomi Redmi 4 pro, half the price of Z3+ but similar specs, so far way more satisfied with it the with Z3+.
Give the brand a check, it's Chinese but they're good.
Good for you to take your money back, but make no mistake, Sony are way superior than Xiaomi (2 previous mobiles where xiaomi!)

Probably if we're talking top performance, like Z5 or other, but when comparing to Z3+ my Xiaomi is better, Z3+ would get around 10k more points in antutu, but when the overheating kicks in that score drops drastically and it heavily affects games with lower FPS and longer load times, my Xiaomi is doesn't have that heating issue so it offers smooth albite slower performance, and i did the same mistake as you, like a kid i wanted a smartphone from the top shelf but not too expensive so i got Z3+, only after suffering it i learned what i needed from my android and a mid-range phone like Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro suits me perfectly.
Plus the battery last nearly twice as long then the one in Z3+ even thou Z+3 has 1100amp less
I agree for the battery, ok. Antutu is pointless to compare. With xiaomi you have to set up, root, rom etc with bugs all the time that come up after 1 month usually, so you have to "refresh" it regularly - trust me you will have to deal with it. Sony has bugs too but not for all users and - usually - Sony fixes them. Anyway, i hope you enjoy your phone! I had iNewV3, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and 4 but i feel than with Sony i feel more confident!

I'd say it depends, if i loved this phone that much i would 100% get it fixed, probably add insurance and do it that way, but if i didn't like many of us don't, then i would check to see what price i would get, the 6T is a great alternative at the moment and it's coming down in price.
But it's up to you.
Check the sale price in current state, then fix cost vs for sale price after it's fixed. If it's worth your time and trouble then go for it.
Personally i'd explore the insurance side of things, may be a cost worthy alternative vs $300, I personally wouldn't do it and i'm pretty good at stripping phones, you have waterproofing and other stuff to consider, put it on the insurers toes instead.
Monthly premium and 1 excess fee will be less than $300.
Then i'd rationalise the money i've saved to be spent on a phone i actually want, personally i'd say the 6T unless you can wait for the 7 which will be around £499 - £550 for the 128GB variant.
Nothing else stands out to me these days that will have great development and a monster chipset / feature set.
Your call pal.
Let us know what you end up doing.
https://swappa.com/mobile/price/huawei-p20-pro
Swappa has the device at a solid resale price, so around $500 - $530
I'd sell it for $500 for a quick sale depending on it's current state / boxed / accessories etc.
Well i cancelled the listing i will Keep It I like my phone.
Thank you yall all comments i couldn't find better alternative than my phone. Only i see xperia x1 because new cinama futures however battery is 3300 amp i am barely surviving with huawei p20 pro battery life.

Take into account the processor too. I got much better battery life consistently on my 1+5 by someway.
10 hours daily no problem.. Vs 7-9 on the pro.
3300 Vs 4000
Believe me the battery size is not the only factor

Personally I'd never buy another Sony, Huawei, Samsung, LG or Nokia device.
For numerous reasons.
HTC (so long as they get back on track) best Devs and some truly superb phones albeit with faults, they just feel like they're unique and I like that.
OnePlus, owned the 1+5, it's hard not to love it, so fast, so efficient, it was just a lack of OIS which killed me, everything else was brilliant.
Pixel, Xiaomi, essential, never owned any of them but they look alright, so long as Google put more than 4g of ram in their phones.
Personally I think Motorola are going to make a comeback, their budget phones are incredible for the price.

Good luck getting the camera working perfect on non Xperia ROMs.
DRM is nasty on Sony phones, not to mention the lack of development.

Every phone have cons and pros however end of day it your choice.
No matter what mercedes always mercedes. It can not be honda.
I had a P20 Pro, sold it for a OnePlus 6 which I didn't like. Sold the 1+6, got a Samsung S9 which had terrible battery life (charging it twice a day FFS).
Just picked up another P20 Pro today, used it hard the last 8 hours installing my apps and doing 4 system updates and it's still above 50% battery. It's very hard to beat the P20 Pro without spending a fortune.

Yes i totally agree with you thats why i cancelled my ebay listing. I am going to stick with my p20 pro.
After my xZ premium thisn was only suitable upgrade based on my daily use

i hope it will have a great modding community!

i really like this phone, i am a fan of bug battery phones, i own a lenovo p2 and i can't see a real replacement to buy, i don't want to buy a 4000mah phone but at least 5 or 6000k mah and THIS ROG phone seems to be the best flashship ever created, not only for the rest of the spects but primarily for the BIGGEST EVER battery in a top end phone.
i know this phone is pricey and the community strenght of the previous rog phone is 0% ... no roms no kernels... but i really hope that this one will have a good community here..... because i am sick to see top phones of only 4000mah

2k screen, wireless charging, better cameras
Unfortunately it's more than hardware that determines this. Hopefully they communicate with the buyers more and update the OS quickly and frequently. If Asus is smart they'll send developer phones and work with the mod community like they're doing for the Zenfone 6. Unfortunately while there are plenty of examples of what to do to get loyal customers and brand evangelists most refuse to do the usually simple things required to achieve this.

China version 8+128GB, 500USD. Not pricey.
500USD? That’s gotta be because of the Tencent (owner of PUBG) partnership. No doubt in my mind that phone comes with some Tencent bloatware.
International version will definitely be more expensive though, especially if the bloatware’s not on it.
I heard they are also working on a stock android version reminds me of the Google Play Edition phones.

Some hardware reduce (China have 2 phone version 8GB/128GB vs 12GB/512GB )
Wireless mimo NO
HDR chip to convert SDR NO ------ ASUS website deleted when selling
Cooling fan NO
30W power supplier NO (Phone still support i think)
Rumor: Different screen vendor ------ Wrong

I don’t think the Tencent version will have the option for the Stock Android UI. Believe it’s only a Worldwide/US feature.
It comes out in a little more than a month for us.

Wish that tencent version can flash to ww/us version.
2 million pre-orders already in China so hope this helps
I'm getting it regardless. I don't think it is expected to have wireless charging, and I don't know about expandable memory. I'm hopeful.

No wireless charging. And it won’t have expandable memory on its own, but it the gaming accessories that you can get with it come with SD slots.
But I’ve never used more than 50GB on a phone and this thing packs 512GB out the box

Yeah, you should be good. 8GB RAM is still higher than the standard for flagships and 128GB is the standard at this point.

QC seems to suck. It may have happened during assembly. It may settle to a less irritating position over time. A lot of firmware issues it seems on those phones too.
In the last year Samsung products have been below par as well. One of the reasons I'm buying another new Note 10+ Snapdragon variant; very little issues across the board with these gorgeous work horses. My current 10+ will be 2 yo soon, one replacement battery so far on this heavily used device. It looks and runs like new.
Lol, not holding my breath for next year with Samsung. It's sad but sometimes the newest isn't the best choice.

Up to 1tb of v30 storage... no Apple can match that or the cool bt spen shutter release. That and smart select are my favorite spen features.
