[Help] Andrea Print Upright font in Redmi 4a - Xiaomi Redmi 4a Questions & Answers

Hi, I previously installed this font on my Lava Iris Fuel 50 after root using iFont app. Now I upgraded to 4G-VoLTE device Redmi 4a. I am used to the font and want the same in my new device. I tried with iFont app without root it failed, and prompted to use MIUI mode which also failed with error that third-party developer theme not allowed. Please help me to install this font successfully..
Thank you.

[Q] changing fonts in mi note pro

Okay, I rooted my mi note pro. Installed two fonts apps. Tried to change the fonts, installed some fonts via the two apps and rebooted... after reboot fonts still not changing... where did I miss the step? Or xiaomi doesnt allow third party apps to change the fonts?
Those apps aren't designed to work with MIUI. You're better off just using the fonts in the theme store

Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Font > Choose system font. You have to use the MIUI ones
Nope. You don't have to use the MIUI Theme Store to find Themes with custom fonts.
Just use iFont but without the integrated MIUI Mode, but with the root mode!
It works and I use the slim variant of Neue Haas Grotesk, also known as Helvetica.
Oh Lord...

You are a magician... Thanks mate.
Very strange: different fonts seems to cause different overall performance for the phones UI...

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think you have to change your entire theme via Samsung Theme Store to change fonts.

Enable Font Style in Phone Settings

Hi. For those whom using Mate 10/10pro or any devices that running emui8/Oreo and always changing fonts to matchup their phone theme. The default method on Android Oreo, just tap and hold 'theme' icon.
But if you want this enable on device settings, here the fast trick to enable your 'text style' on your device settings without theme editor or adb command. No rooted device needed.
First, download this '.apk'

Install it. Open and choose enable. Then reboot device.
(P/s: you can uninstall the app, after enable font)
And here for the fonts. Thanks to venom007

Once you're download the font, rename it from '.zip' to '.hwt' and move the files to themes folder [ local/ internal storage/ huawei/ themes ]
Now, your font style are in your device settings/display/text style.
Note: Don't know if its work for another language. I'm using it for english and it works. But, you can give a try and report us either it work or not with another language.
Enjoy!
UPDATED : I've found this on playstore. Can enable font style changer and some more tweaker for Huawei device. Thanks to the developer.

Hi..not work for me,even I did what everything you guys did..downloaded the app,it's enabled...d'loaded fonts, rename them with .hwt and moved them into huawei theme.have tried both ways, renamed the .zip file, moved and not showing and the file inside the zip. same procedure.
On theme itself only showing default and chinese sans font's,which was pre-installed,as well the same showing in sett/display/text style...
Frustrating...
Well it worked..after a couple of time's rebooting..but now I wanted to do the same to my wifey's p10lite but enabler .apk shows that is broken and cannot install
I had my hopes up high when i saw this..
After trying to enable the fontsyle with adb (adb shell settings put system hw_hide_font_style false)
Things worked but only in English settings.
As I am dutch I tried this but it doesn't work either on mate 10 light with Emui 5.1

Supporting fonts

Hello!
So, I'll go straight to the point: I use twitter a lot and several people use symbols/letters I can't see due to my font not being updated (I assume).
I decided to use a module to get the iOS 11 font, it looks cool and all but unfortunately I still can't see those symbols.
The question is: is there a way to support all these symbols by adding them to my current font or something?
Edit: Yes, my phone is rooted and I'm currently on MIUI 10 (Xiaomi EU ROM)
Hi
Did you try this theme ?

I guess you can chose only font, once installed on santoni ?
