Indian Users Note 5 N9208 Duos VoLTE WiFi Calling - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I wish to understand if WiFi Calling is supported by Jio on Note 5 Nougat. I do get VoLTE and its working flawlessly but there are certain areas where network is very bad but I have good WiFi connectivity.
If I enable WiFi Calling incoming calls are there but can't make out going calls. I can't really confirm if there is change in audio quality for incoming calls using WiFi calling because I'm not even sure if its working since it shows no new icon.
My wife has noticed change on her iPhone 6 Plus with WiFi calling but I cannot make sure if there is any difference.
With my wife WiFi calling on she is able to make incoming and outgoing calls both. She too doesn't get any new notification or icon confirming voice call is being routed via WiFi Calling.

No LTE on Outgoing Call Only

Anyone experience on 5.1.1 no LTE on outgoing calls. But all incoming calls keep LTE so I can talk/data. I have done the #*#* thing and toggled the Enhanced 4G LTE....this is on Veriozn with the Google Nexus 6...
Any thoughts or solutions?

[Q] VoLTE calling. Any issues?

I've been told that if you activate Verizon's Advanced Calling feature that it only works on VoLTE, and if you are on a call in a 4G coverage area and for example, say you're driving and your coverage area switches to 3G, the call will drop. Has anyone had serious issues with the Advanced Calling feature dropping calls? Is it worth activating this feature or is it better to leave it off until VoLTE technology makes some advances? Thanks in advance for any input!!
I have it on all the time and It seems fine, but yes if it drops to 3G it will drop the call. So if you are on an important call and driving outside a city or somewhere you know it drops to 3G then go into the setting and turn off HD Voice just for that call.
P.S. Just because you enable it on your account doesn't mean it is always on, or needs to be always on. You can change it on your phone.

WiFi calling to cellular handoff

I'm finding that when I'm on a WiFi call and leave the house, the phone dosent switch to cellular. The phone drops the call and I have to call the person back. Is there any setting to enable smooth handoffs or is this an inherent issue with WiFi calling?

Have you tried going into developer options, and ticking aggressive WiFi to cellular handoff?
I'll give that a try. Thanks
If you are on T-Mobile, I don't think it will do a WiFi-Cellular hand off, will it? I thought T-Mobile still uses IMS technology.
The older wifi calling tech, UMA, does handoffs nicely. The older Blackberrys and Nokias have it.
Enabled the aggressive wfi to cellular handoff and that seems to work now. Thanks.

cant receive and make calls when connected to LTE

I just bought my note 5. Its the dual sim version. So the first few days was days.... i started having difficulty with making outgoing calls... texts are fine... its like 1 out 10 calls would push through. So i rebooted my phone thinking that it might resolve the issue....unfortunately it did not. Then a few friends sent me a message that theyve been trying to call me and it always says im out of coverage are... the whole time this was happening I was connected to LTE. When i changed my mobile network setting to 3g/2g .... then calls came in and went out. Has anyone have the same issue with note 5?
The international versions don't have VoLTE enabled. Not sure how to enable it. Mine also doesn't have WB-AMR (HD Voice) enabled either.
Thus, calls need to be switched through the HSPA network and can't be routed while connected to LTE. Essentially when making a call your phone switches and tries to register on HSPA, quickly.
