After upgrading to 32.3.A.2.33 last night I'd like to share the kernel I made for this device/version.
The kernel was made using the following options:
Code:
- Sony RIC is enabled. Disable? [Y/n] Y
- Install TWRP recovery? [Y/n] Y
- Install kcal kernel module? [Y/n] Y
- Found superuser.zip. Install? [Y/n] Y
# Make su permissive (Permits any action as su)? [Y/n] Y
- Install DRM fix? [Y/n] Y
- Install busybox? [Y/n] Y

Please note that I am not using SuperSU! Instead I am using PHH's "superuser", that can be found here: PHH's superuser. You must install this app (PlayStore link) after installing the patched kernel!

This a not a flashable.zip.
You must flash the boot.img:

I am new to Sony devices, I wonder if there is a guide how to install it and I also have some questions.
Do I directly get root access by installing this kernel or do I have to root the phone before installing?
If yes, is there a good guide you can give me how to root the phone?Because actually all I need is the root access not the kernel

Unfortunately the xperia z5 development sector seems to die since the nougat update
Flashed the Kernel, seems working fine
But Kcal wasnt working after I change the Selinux manually.
Now it is working again

Use kamesh 7.1.1 mod and manually move the mod into init.d and other files in correspondent folders under system with Re-write enabled.... Disable se-linux with app or command.. Then re-enable after confirm working :good:

not sure mate. u can try. flash 'drmrestore' package to restore sony features that requires drm keys.

try again using fastboot binary. dont use flashtools

In Backup folder location, above DETECT! button, change the Storage provider. Its TB & Marshamallow stuff, not related with kernel, etc.

For flashing kernel .img (has preloaded twrp) as you can use flashtool and fastboot. Yes, that's right.
Its very painful to always enable DT2W from kernel manager and apply on boot also, Can anyone pls make a magisk module which enable DT2W in pie rom.

Can you remove the CSC installer from this rom? the installer fails after that. says error code 1. I reinstalled again from the recovery still the same thing. can't get it working. I'm using this twrp? Shoudl I use any other recovery for this?

Dude, this link is for Galaxy M31, which never had NFC. So, what can you expect!

1, Am on M31 running android 12 ( Oneui-4.1) if you could send me the twrp recovery for android 12 . i was searching and i only found for android 11.

Why do you want to break knox?
When you have knox security, secure folder, good lock modules(most of), dex, music share, etc, etc....
